Spectacular place, amazing food, pleasant service. It was a great discovery in Nice this tiny brasserie. We ate delicious food, bravo to the chef! in a beautiful and cozy ambiance. My fish was so, so tasty with the capers and the aromatic sauce, wow! I loved it! We will surely be back. Not to mention the very reasonable prices :).

We had a lovely lunch here. Cozy place! The waitress was funny and polite, and we felt very welcome. Lovely food and drinks. Not cheap, not expensive. Accurate prices. We highly recommend this place!

The food is overpriced for the quality. The taste was 5 out of 10. But what really pissed me off is that there were some small olives inside the food, which were hidden under a thick cheese layer, with their seeds inside them. I almost broke a tooth. I don't recommend this place. To be fair, I should note that the service was fine though.

Clearly a local favourite. We found it 3years ago when staying near the Negresco. So busy and friendly, just one waitress dealing with the inside and outside clients. Always has a smile and understands English and my poor french! Had the americain club on Wednesday- too much food for me. Croque madame today and nearly finished it! Cote du Rhone is brilliant too!

A little plastic atmosphere, but do not let it bother. Suprisingly many-sided menu. Well made tasty portions with a decent price. Very popular at the lunch time, so can be crowded. The service is distinctive, but good. Not the fastest, understandably.

The worst Croque Monsieur I ever had. I have never left a food on plate, but this was unfortunately not eatable meal. Absolutely don't recommend.

I love this brassiere. Good, simple food and nice service. Lots of neighborhood folks stopping to chat with each other, sharing a drink or two. I could easily spend all afternoon here with some rosè watching the world go by.

A must when in Nice for a drink or some delicious unpretentious food. A selection of specials at lunch time, a la carte early evening. Away from the crowds of tourists, typically French, super friendly owner. Highly recommend it.

Great neighborhood bar while a homey feel. The couple that runs it is really nice and friendly and try to create a nice experience for each guest. The food is good, service is never disappointing. A place worth stopping by!

Spent longer here than I planned to as service was slow, but only as the lady was running everything and was very busy, plus I don't speak French so was being hesitant in getting anyone's attention. Had the omelette and it was very tasty, the fries were amazing! I was brought water, bread and condiments without having to ask. Very friendly place, nice atmosphere sitting outside.

A hidden gem in the area. Found it on Google maps and wasn't disappointed at all. If you are in the area and wanna have a very tasty lunch with good prices, good atmosphere and good service, this is the place to be.

This is an absolutely first class brasserie. Spotlessly clean with swift, professional service, but friendly. We felt very welcome even though it was lunchtime and we only wanted drinks, however, the choice of food was so varied and what we glanced at on other tables looked so appetising, that we ordered a light lunch. Ham and cheese omelette (menu included frites and salad) and a ham and cheese pancake (menu included green salad). We couldn't fault it. It's very conveniently located on the Rue de France which runs parallel to the Prom. des Anglais. Look for the Hotel Negresco on google aerial view because it's easy to spot, and it's on that part of the the Rue de France behind it. We were so disappointed to have discovered this gem of a place on the last day of our holiday, instead of our first, or we would undoubtedly have revisited as often as possible. We just loved the atmosphere, so authentically French despite being so close to a major tourist area.
