I would say that it’s the best food we ever had 🥰Authentic French restaurant with a menu to die for! I think it’s the reason I am coming back to visit nice 😍🤩 food was 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Service was 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ super helpful and kind people!! I think this place will make your trip

Our first meal in Nice and were not disappointed. The place is small but makes up by offering amazing food and service. The chef was not joking when he told us every dish is good. We had tuna steak, beef steak, chicken with truffle sauce, seasonal fish with mashed sweet potatoes, and pasta. Everything is perfect! Will definitely come back here 2nd time before leaving Nice.

Such a remarkable French gastronomy experience. Food served with the freshest ingredients and hosted with the warmest service. Everything in this restaurant feels very genuine, and simply one of the best meals I have had around the world.

This is an amazing French restaurant in Nice. The food was very delicious. The salmon was uncredibly soft and tasty. The service is nice.

I had the lamb brochette with veggies which was very delicious, and portion size was very generous (glad i haven’t ordered appetizers). My friend had the smoked salmon & avocado salad meal, which she liked but thought the salmon portion was just a bit too much. My other friend also had the seafood curry with a side of rice. We all liked the food, and such a cozy little place (tiny kitchen too) but food was very good. I would definitely go back again to try some of their other main courses. Not a place for vegetarians though.

The staff was very kind and read the full menu in English for my finance. The fresh lemonade, coffee and all the dishes were outstanding. Can’t go wrong here ❤️

Nice small place with tasty food and big portions. Found them based on reviews, didn't regret :) Late lunch for two was only 35€ which is a great deal in Nice.

We mentioned when booking that we are vegan and Fred, the chef, put together a delicious lunchtime meal...so tasty. Front of house were charming and welcoming. Every customer smiled broadly when their food arrived as it was presented beautifully and the portions are extremely generous. We will 100% be returning here in our next trip to Nice.

Le Bocal was excellent. The place has inside and outdoor seating, and we had a very relaxing lunch outdoors. The menu had great options, and the server made perfect recommendations for us (in English as we aren’t French speakers). Overall, it was so good and we were sad our trip wasn’t a bit longer so we could return to eat there again. Very highly recommended. Well done.

Incredible food and great service, best lunch I've had in France

Lovely place in Nice where you can order a delicious meal without waiting for ages and you can eat in a cosy atmosphere. Le Bocal offers also a variety of inviting craft beers.

This was the best meal we had during our stay in Nice. We stumbled in for a quick, simple lunch and were blown away. Perfectly balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, friendly staff, and a charming atmosphere. The waiter helped us pick our meals as we were struggling a bit with our sub-par french skills. He recommended the spiced beef with hummus and the thai spicy beef, both of which were so incredible my partner and I spent the meal switching off plates without complaint (usually we end up fighting for the plate of whoever ordered best). so incredible in fact that I’m writing this review months after the meal after drooling over the pictures we took. If we’re ever back in Nice, we WILL be back here!
