Enjoy the views from the restaurant which is a little above the street level entry or the bar which is a little below the street level and right on the water. Try to book your dinner about 7:30 PM - then you can really enjoy the sun going down over the water while you have a leisurely dinner. Be forewarned that it can get a little hot as the sun goes down & shine directly into the restaurant deck. It can be a very romantic experience but expect your fellow diners to get up, walk right next to your table & try to get photos as the sun goes down. The wait staff was a little rushed or acted a little "over it" but they were young & may be new staff due to the pandemic. The food was outstanding - the flavor shone through each dish, nothing was overcooked nor hidden behind thick sauces, the desserts were out of this world and not to mention the delicious cocktails & the espresso. There was an older gentleman who may have been the host or the general manager that came to each table after dinner to have a brief conversation & asked about the experience. Nice, classy touch. Be sure to snap some pics on the way out when it's dark & the restaurant/bar is beautifully lit. Highly recommended & would definitely be back.

We had a very nice dinner to start our vacation! I loved the shrimp risotto and the octopus was also really good! The view and location is so pretty! There was not enough shade, even though we sad in the middle, the sun was sadly burning in our faces.

The staff were so lovely that we we enjoyed interacting with everyone we talked to. The wine we ordered (a rose in the mid price range) was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their food immense. We had the shrimp risotto and sea bream dishes. The zucchini flower and mackerel appetizers were also very good.

It doesn’t get much better than watching the sunset and listening to the sound of the waves crashing as you eat. Our dinner was delicious! Everything we ordered (tuna, octopus, steak) had such amazing flavor. The best part of our experience was the service. Our server was so kind and attentive, he was a young man and I wish I could remember his name. The owner (I presume) was the sweetest man and walked around to each table multiple times throughout the night, filling wine glasses, checking in with all of the tables etc. which we really appreciated! We are grateful for the unforgettable experience! Le Plongeoir is a must if you are in Nice!

The drinks were good and normal price range for nice. The views were nice and can imagine it being extra pretty during sunset. It does get quite busy though — by 5pm there were no more tables for the bar. Recommend stopping by for a few drinks and nice views.

The second best thing was the labneh. The mint and olive oil on it were just 👌🏽. Highly recommend.

Fortunately, we managed to snag a reservation the same day by sending an email expressing our flexibility with timing, and they replied quickly offering us a 9pm spot, which we gladly accepted. While the food was undeniably delicious, it didn't quite top our list of favorite meals. The portions were on the smaller side for the price, but given our previous dining experiences over the past week, it suited us just fine. Our only minor complaint was the limited cocktail options and the slightly rushed pace of the service. Everything arrived swiftly, perhaps even a tad too quickly. Nevertheless, it was a memorable and delightful last supper, making it a worthwhile dining experience.

Wanted to give this place 5 stars but when you’re paying a decent price for a meal you would expect it to be correct. Medium steak came well done and a pan-seared sea bream was grilled. Both were still good but when you order a 50€ meal you expect it to be right. Service was great, atmosphere 10/10 and certainly will give this place another try in the future.
