The place is a nice home kitchen at a corner of a street. When we arrived, we were greeted by Doha, which was our waitress for the night. Doha was really nice and welcoming, sweet, and smiling. The foot arrived fairly quickly with a nice presentation before splitting to the plates. My partner isn't eating meat, so we asked the waitress if it is possible to take it out, and without any problem, the paella arrived with the meat on the side. The food is really tasty, the rice packed with flavor, the sea food was a bit basic but still good. For drinks, we took the cold sangria, which was perfect and refreshing. Would recommend stopping by this restaurant, be ready to pay a bit more than usual, but it's worth it.

What a fantastic dining experience! While in Nice we wanted to mix up the cuisines and stumbled upon Chez Mireille while searching. Having been to Spain I do miss paella a lot. But this blew away all my expectations. It was the best paella I've ever had with quality seafood and generous portions. Even though the food was delicious, that was not the best part of our dining experience - it was the exceptional service! The owner was lovely and took fantastic care of us throughout the whole night. We are always anxious when dining out with a baby, but she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, make us feel at ease, and provided the baby love and entertainment. We cannot recommend this place enough!!

one of the best paellas i’ve ever had! the portion was generous, with lots of seafood for its price. the service was amazing as well, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. they are flexible for those who can’t take seafood as well. sangria was really tasty too, get the half pitcher! would highly recommend

This is the best Spanish seafood rice (paella) I’ve ever had!!! I recommend this to anyone who visits Nice. Seafood was so fresh; especially the octopus was so tender and juicy. Doaa (the waitress) provided the best service and even treated us drinks.

While visiting Nice for 4 days we decided to go this lovely family owned business after reading the reviews. We were certainly not disappointed. It is away from the busy restaurant strip and much more comfortable. The Paella was absolutely delicious. The staff were amazing and the young lady that looked after us went out of her way to make our dinner special. We enjoyed it so much we went back a 2nd time. Again it was a wonderful experience. The same young lady looked after us again along with the boss. We had the Paella Royal both times and it was delicious. A 10-15 minute walk from the busy city square. I would definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant while in Nice.

I think to get good paella, it is best to go away from Saleya area.. There are a lot of overpriced restaurants there. Nice is a tourist city, but you can still find smaller restaurants with better service such as Chez Mireille. The paella was delicious and a single order should be enough for two. I had dinner there, but the lunch menu appears to be designed for one person. The hostess was very nice, friendly, and pretty with a big smile. I had sangeria, but a glass of Provençale rose would be good too.

Walking distance from Nice train Station, Chez Mireille is a fabulous choice if you enjoy paella, it is probably the best I ever had! Generous portion, delicious flavors, it's a small family own place and they take great pride on their dishes. Reservation strongly suggested, we arrived to an empty restaurant that filled up very quickly. I did a yelp search before my visit, it's 5 stars from everyone.

Paella was ok, but sangria was poor, plus their operation was too clumsy. At least one hour wait seemed to be normal after the order. Try other paella place.

Eh, it was okay. + Nice, attentive waiter +- focus on just paella. Which would be totally fine, if outstanding, however: - paella ok, however quality of ingredients not that fresh, looked frozen. Not saying bad, just average, pretty ok, does not justify the price however (20€ paella per person roughly) - wine/beer list for us was lacking. Wine is ok, it is a casual place after all

This Paella place used to be the best in Nice. Having heard that the owner of this place and the chef had been changed, when we went this time, the quality and the service of this restaurant is so downgraded! We ordered two big paellas - one with seafood and one with chicken. Normally, they are supposed to serve us with two separated pots. Instead, they mixed them and served us one. But the portion is as same as one pot. The taste is different and unlike it used to be. The waitress is also not able to provide good service either. It is better to go somewhere else now. We really wanted to taste the same good paella.

We ordered the seafood paella and it was out of this world. Taste, presentation, and service were all excellent.

Worth the walk if you are in the touristy. Not crowded, good prices, large portions and great service. Paella and Sangria were excellent!

We just had 2 seafood paellas in this place and it was ok. Waitress was not attentive and was talking on the phone while serving us. She even threw wet towel to me instead of giving it like a normal person. Terrible service.

Amazing restaurant and amazing Paella!! So happy we found this place!!

It's OK, but not real paella. You can tell the ingredients are not simmered together to blend all the flavors and the result lacks the heartiness and depth of the genuine article.

A great place to enjoy a paella. You get to eat well (both in term of quality and quantity) and the staff is really friendly.

One of the greatest restaurants in Nice! Food is always delicious, place is very cozy and service is on top. My gratitude to the chief and all the staff who are always so welcoming.

Absolutey recommend the place for the tasty paella and rather large portions. The restaurant only serves paella, though they also have a children menu. The cook and the waitress seem passionate about their jobs, which leads to a friendly and warm atmosphere. It is usually full, as it’s a rather small place - 8-10 tables; it’s best to make a reservation beforehand.

Excellent Paella at Mireille! A little out of the main part of town but worth the trek if you want a satisfying, flavourful and generously portioned paella at a reasonable price. Our waitress is lovely and gave great recommendations on the wine and service. Will be back if we visit Nice again!
