3.5 stars! Lovely little restaurant in Old Town Nice. We visited without a booking and could easily get a table outside. Pasta, Nicosia salad, mix starter dish and desserts were good for their price. Decent portions and pasta was perfectly cooked. But it seemed they prioritised other tables first, even though they came in and ordered after us. So we waited quite some time for our food.

Love the Gésu— great value for money Italian-Niçoise food. Favourite dish is the gnocchi, great fluffy pillowy texture!

Very good service and very fast too. The food was AMAZING, we had the gnocis with gorgonzola sauce, the lasagne and the carbonara pasta and everything costed us 35'5€ in total. I would highly recommend this place.

Bland pasta, tasteless. Meat was ok but just topped with some regular ham, cheese and tomato slices. Gnocchi so bland it was all melting like mash potatoes.

Got the assorted starters tapas (because I am indecisive) but it ended up being a great choice. Each little starter item was so tasty. My main was the escalope forestiere . The large piece of meat was pork and there were little mushrooms in the pasta. For dessert we had crème brûlée which had a nice glorious crunchy layer and delicious filling. Overall a very tasty time .

This restaurant is hidden away in a lovely area of Old Nice. The place is always busy during the summer season. I can’t fault the service. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. Our food was delicious.

When most of Nice’s restaurants are closing… get to this place and have a late night pizza or calzone… best in town!! Great selection of pasta and ravioli.

If you want to truly get to know Nice, get away from the Promenade de Anglais and go explore!! We happened upon this small restaurant and decided to give it a try. The man who waited on us speaks only a little English, and we managed to order a wonderful meal with our limited French. We were the only tourists dining amongst a few groups of locals. It was my first time trying Ile Flottante (floating island), a lightly toasted meringue floating on crème anglaise. That one dish is worth traveling to Nice. It was an experience of texture and taste unparalleled.

Good restaurant, good foods. In old Nice. Price is fare. I had La Daube, a slow cooked beef. Really delicious. And Also order a Salade Niçoise. But it was ordinary salad with tuna.

Food was tasty. My husband added a bit of salt to his veal and pasta but overall very good Italian meal in France. My beef and gnocchi was so delicious but… I forgot to take a picture after my beef & the bread came out 😅

Very delicius authentic homemade food. Nice and kind people serving and giving you one of the best dining experiences in the old town of Nice. People are willing to wait for an hour to get a table... tells something about what you get

My favorite restaurant in Old Nice. The first time I visited Nice was in 2019 and I dined here 3 times during that visit. Now I make it a point to have at least one meal (maybe two) everytime I visit. Delicious food, my favorites are the carbonara, bolognese, nicoise salad, and ratatouille. Pricing is really good. Staff are very friendly and they do their best when things get busy. Biggest tip is to get to the restaurant as soon as it opens or near closing time. The restaurant does not take reservations.

Informal place where you can eat typical local food, the prices are good and the the terrace is quite comfy just in front of the homonymous church...

There are a lot of terrible restaurants in the old town of Nice. They are tourist traps serving poor food with poor service. Du Gesu is one of the few exceptions, providing an opportunity to eat traditional Nicoise food, in one of the most picturesque of settings.

Good food freshly made and good prices. Cute restaurant in old nice. The outdoor area is on a little square facing an old church. Good atmosphere.

Service was really slow, steak menu is average, ambiance of this restaurant is quite perfect, you need to know that its possible coming across with people who wait on long line to be seated

Perfect spot for a perfect lunch! It's all delicious and fresh! I loved Gnocchi with Gorgonzola cheese. Niçoise salad was very fresh. And also handmade fresh pasta and Pizza were very good. And very nice location 👍🏻👌🏻

Everything we ordered in our group was absolutely delicious. The neighborhood is historic, so one may walk off the calories.
