I ordered my steak medium and what I got was a dry very well done mess. The veggies were mushy and tasteless. The service was very friendly, the fries were good, but it's just not enough. There are far better restaurants nearby!

If you get easily annoyed please dont be in the restaurant business, it might not be your kind of thing. It takes patience to give customers a great experience which this restaurant does not offer. Waiter was an old grumpy arrogant man, we were waiting at the front and he was ignoring us, i put one step further and he already got annoyed (grow up !) then i put two fingers up as he was approaching to kind of indicate how many people there are, the first thing he dares to do is belittle us and tell us off. Dude go to a therapist 😂 bye! Your reviews are just enough to describe this whole restaurant. Tourist restaurant, on a touristic square in a touristic city and you work like this … a mess

It took 30 minutes, and asking several waiters 6 times in order to get the bill - infuriatingly slow service. Food was basic and definitely not good value for money. Would certainly not return there again.

i have no idea why this is just 3.4 stars. food is great, drinks are great, prices are good, live music is great. yes. in my opinion, it's above all the fancy places I've been to in Nice.

*VEGAN REVIEW* This place isn’t very vegan friendly. Most if not all the main dishes can’t be veganized. It has two vegan appetizers though, fries and socca (fried chickpea bread). I highly recommend getting the socca with lots of pepper. FOR NON VEGANS: Seems like there are options for meat eaters and vegetarians. The atmosphere is cozy and sometimes they have live music. My dad isn’t vegan, and he enjoyed his calamari here.

Great location for a relaxing wine. We stopped for one drink and ended up staying for quite a while. The staff are very lovely and helpful and helped us select some quality wine that was delicious. It turned into a busy night, but once we made eye contact with our waiter, he always finished what he was doing and then helped us. The food and live music were on point and a hit! Would definitely go back.

I agree with other reviews that the service is slow, but the food is good. I didn’t mind the slow service as it took me a while to decide on what I wanted to order. The servers were polite, but constantly busy. Once we ordered it took about 15 minutes for the food to come out. I ordered a large appetizer that included socca (chickpea pancake), Pissaladière (think of pizza but the toppings are caramelized onions and anchovies), and bagnat (small sandwich that included tuna, tomato, and sliced hard boiled egg). My boyfriend ordered the grilled lambchops and it came with fries and a small salad. All the food was very good and cooked well.

Great service with a smile, speaks English and French, the food was ok, and the coffee was very good! Located in the middle of the square, and offering a variety of meals, prices are about 15€ per person. Very recommended!

Terrace in a cozy and quiet square. The ham and cheese galette had a reliable taste and was tastier than the smoked sausage, very spinachy and large. The food came quickly, as is customary in the city.

Nice atmosphere. The service is okey but they forgot something. The meals are okey. They forgot to salt the pasta. Drinks are okey but they do not know what a vodka martini is even if they have them on the menu and have pictures of it in front.

Service was fast and food was good. It’s not spectacular but is a safe choice so we returned twice. There is a bit too much balsamic on the salad but that’s a personal preference. There is live music in the evening.

- positive thing about the restaurant: the food was delicious (we ordered mozzarella with tomatoes, spaghetti bolognese and gnocchi) - negative things: as soon as you greet them in English, they become unfriendly. They wanted to sit us in the corner next to the wall possibly because of our young age. When I asked whether the places which had a nicer view were free, they said yes.(French people automatically got the best table) We got the table in the front only because I asked to sit there. - waiters don’t even want to understand us when not speaking in French -we had to ask for beverages, etc. twice - compared to other restaurants which are situated in a much better place, the prices are high
