Overpriced and bad experience. We arrived at 13:15 only to be pushed back by the guy who said that they are full and no tables available although there was at least 1 table available with no reservation sign. We sat there and then other appointed waiter tried to discourage us by saying that is raining and there is no place available although it was not raining. I insisted to be seated bcs local people recommended this place to us to try Socca bcs it the local must try Food. Finally they OK-es us and we waited for Socca probably for about 20 mins. Finally it came chewy and overburned , too salty flat bread made from chickpeas. You can really taste and feel the burnt crust which is very bitter and unpleasant. I dont know how is suppose to taste bcs I have never tried before but this one one was really tasteless and burnt.

The service here was miserable: the server shouted at the queue when tables were available, it took 25 minutes for us to get seated, then it took 15 minutes before our table was cleaned and we got menus, and another 10 for our order to be taken. In the meantime, the server shouted more, all the employees looked completely overworked and almost threw dishes down in front of guests, and the atmosphere was unpleasant because of it. We only ordered socca, it was just okay, a little raw and not very crispy. Very disappointed in this place.

Very good Socca and efficient service.. only thing beer was very expensive 10 euros a mug. Nevertheless awesome service 👏

I was served a cold socca after the owner certified it was still hot. Why the lie ? I would have waited for a new hot batch. Disappointed and won’t go anymore

The good: Socca is very tasty. Nissa Bella salad was good. The bad: The place is very tiny. You almost have to share the table with other guests. Only accept cash payment.

We came on a Friday night so were half expecting to be turned away without a reservation but thankfully we managed to get a table inside (outside tables were fully booked) The selection of food that we ordered was all great. I’m particularly a fan of the original Socca, which was very fresh and the texture was perfect. I would definitely recommend coming here if you’re in Nice, the prices aren’t bad either.

We were the only people in the restaurant and we were seated right next to the bathroom with the door almost hitting our table. Our coffee was barely warm, our socca was equal parts burned and undercooked. Honestly though, the owner was very nice and brought our ticket right away when we asked.

Very happy I found this place by coincidence … it has a genuinely warm and friendly atmosphere and the food was great: the socca was crispy and flavorful, the pizza thin and crispy and had some great regional toppings … definitely coming here again on my next visit to Nice.

A very popular and enjoyable place. I fell in love with the goat cheese and tuna pizza! I ate "socca" for the first time in my life and it was delicious. Their desserts made with chard are also amazing! Great place to go again and again!

Best Socca in town but you have to wait in line to get a table because the restaurant doesnt take reservations, service is fast and the food is delicious.

Lovely family run restaurant! My first time trying out nicoise food. Socca was really really tasty, so was the tourte de blettes. Service was excellent.

Grumpy owner, not making feel welcome, the Socca was nice in part but stodgy we did not finish our plate!!!!

The Socca is very good, the staff is very friendly, just be aware that they don't accept cards or any form of payment of the XXI century. The drinks are Abit expensive, other than that you have to experience the Socca.

Crispy and soft. Sweet and salty.tasty. Try it you won’t regret it. Be careful to know which is take our or sit in.

One of my favourite places to get socca in nice - always super crispy and simply delicious. I haven't tried their other food because...get the socca or go home.

Just outside the Center, away from the busy streets full of tourists, you’ll find one of the best Socca’s here along with a great desserts in a cosy place. I would also recommend trying the other local delicacies, especially the Pissaladière which is onions and anchovies on top of bread. The restaurant is also reasonably priced with snacks and a drink costing about EUR 10 per person.

A very typical place where you can eat one of the best socca in Nice. Moreover the pizzas are very good and ingrediants are chosen with good quality. The price is good.

Wowww! Just wow! Amazing socca. Had it the first time here. You can dine in or choose a take-away. It's around 6-7 euros for a large share take-away. Also, obviously the take away is cheaper.
