Friendly service and delicious food. At first, one chooses a main dish, for which the price might seem bit high. But don’t get mistaken, before your meal is prepared, the hipster Chef wearing Marvel cap will personally serve you rich starter consisted of several small portions (like tapas) providing details and recommending consumption order. They have also delicious coffee, so don’t skip a dessert with it. All in all, I can only recommend Zorzetto restaurant. We enjoyed our dinner there very much.

Amazing experience! Excellent food. The only thing to improve a little bit is a service. I felt a little bit overlooked. Otherwise the place has very cozy atmosphere inside.

A little gem in the Coeur de Nice. It was a cold and rainy night after freshly arriving as tourists in Nice. As it was Sunday night and in the off-season many restaurants were closed but we were fortunate to find Zorzetto opened. We had no expectations upon arrival and were warmly welcomed to sit in the mostly empty restaurant. The menu was very limiting especially for an Italian resto with the prices on the higher side but the quality was excellent including an over the top appetizer selection that was presented on a multi-tier platter server with our host who, seats himself down beside you, to explain all the dishes that he prepared himself (you actually see him do it). It is all a wonderful and engaging presentation that sets you at ease, as if you were enjoying a dinner at a friend's home. There were fresh veggies with a dill sauce, diced zucchini with poppy, a pumpkin squash soup and more...all of it delicious. We ordered the black ink spaghetti with spicy salami and the orechchiette with burrata, olives and kumquats in tomato sauce (a good sign...even though the dish was advertised for two they willing did a single serving for us at a reduced rate). Both were excellent. Dessert was an over-the-top tiramisu...also delicious. Definitely a keeper...enjoy Zorzetto the same way we did!

Honest food, rich on flavour. The service is as charming as the decoration. However, the main attraction is the beautiful food so perfectly cooked. It’s the best food we’ve had for in France this year. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Nice.

Lunch menu which sraff recommends is very very good. It starts with cream cheese soup, and basil pasta, followed by good dessert. The staffs, lady and gentleman are very kind and helpful to enjoy the meal. The atmosphere and interior fits well for the foods. Strongly recommend 👌👍

I am very glad that I chose this restaurant for dinner with friends in honor of my birthday. Great atmosphere, pleasant presentation, short but very tasty menu and special attitude of the staff. I highly recommend it to gourmets and just those looking for a culinary experience.

We had such a wonderful time here! The menu and main courses were delicious - I started eating before remember to take a photo! The chef greeted us personally and sat down to explain the meal and it’s ingredients. He did this with each party throughout the evening. This restaurant is only open in the evenings so I would recommend reservations. You can feel the love from the staff and taste it in their food. You won’t be disappointed!

Alas, our first evening with the fantastic folks and food of Zorzetto was also our last. It was their final day before the storied chef retired. We have however marked his son’s restaurant for our next winter escape to Nice.

A great place with delicious food. Every meal has been well presented and described, and tasted extraordinarily. Definitely the chef has a great sense of taste. Also, the staff is very welcoming and friendly, making this place a great experience.

A very pleasant experience, the waiter and the owner were super friendly and charming. The food is minimal but the taste packs a punch. Possibly some of the best pasta Ive ever had. The mains include a starter which is set by the chef, a mixture of tasty treats served a bit like afternoon tea. It’s around €44 for starter and main excluding drinks.

This was hands down the best meal my husband and I had during our two week trip around France. I stumbled upon Zorzetto while reading a Reddit article and I am so glad I did! It is such a discreet restaurant with no website and very little social media presence. Plus it is only open two hours each evening and closed on Wednesdays which peaked our curiosity even more. They bring you several starters to begin the experience. Everything tasted very good and seemed unique to their restaurant and French cuisine. For dinner, I ordered the spaghetti in ink with cod, spicy salami, and asparagus. My husband ordered the French veal medallions with seasonal chanterelles, avocado, and spring onion. The portion size is perfect and was so delicious we both scraped our plates clean! For dessert, we shared the Panettone with semi-salted caramel ice cream and the raspberry coulis sorbet filled donut. I cannot recommend this place enough. The service was also lovely and we even met Chef Maryan Gandon on our way out. The restaurant has a cozy vibe and we learned that the regulars even have their own special mailboxes that are hung around the restaurant, which would definitely be a goal of ours if we lived in Nice!

What can I say about this place! I mean the most friendly and hospitable staff, super cool and humble chef, and don’t get me started on their famous pasta dish and the hand made French toast!! I can’t recommend it enough, amazing food, amazing ambiance, and above all a place that I will continue coming back to for your years! Thank you Tomas

We had our Christmas dinner and we love the place! Beautiful interior design and friendly stuffs! Price might be a bit pricey due to the material they served and the drink is Michelin restaurant price, but overall worth a try!

The restaurant is perfect. The starters are a surprise put together by the chef and he comes over and explains what each food is. Then the mains are packed with flavour. All the staff are so lovely and welcoming. 10/10 experience.

Unique and delicious! Zorzetto is a gem tucked away in Nice. Though we couldn’t locate the menu online beforehand, our group of 4 decided to trust the glowing reviews and make a reservation for the same evening. We were not disappointed! This restaurant is small and unique. They have only a few dishes on the menu, but everything is crafted with quality ingredients and feature thoughtful combinations. The chef provided us with a complimentary entree featuring a dozen different amuses bouche, which we were delighted by. He even sat down with us and described each item. It was clear to us that the chef truly loves the work he is doing. Across the board, our group agreed every item we ordered was delicious. Zorzetto is serving Michelin-quality food and a memorable experience!
