Finally after 8 months and 5 different expected delivery dates I finally received my office furniture. Hopefully my bedroom furniture will be not far behind. Truthfully the store manager has been very helpful through this process. Delivery guys were great and hope to see them soon.

I purchased my sofa and wall art from Value City Furniture on May 22 at the Cleveland location for pick up in North Olmsted. When the items were finally in on July 11 I went to pick them up at the North Olmsted location. I was told they were not there and I would have to go to the Cleveland location to pick them up. So I did and when I got there I was told there was no one to load them and they could not locate the wall art. Obviously upset they found someone to finally load the sofa and they found the wall art. However the wall art was opened and damaged so I had to re-order it. They told us it cannot be ordered for pick up at North Olmsted I would have to come back to Cleveland to get it. So a new one was ordered. I went to pick it up on August 3 got it home and it was also Damaged. It has several water marks on it. So we went to North Olmsted to return it and order yet a 3rd time. The gentleman working at customer service the Nick Willis was rude and condescending. He said since I hadn’t ordered it from them they could not return it there. I would have to go again to Cleveland. So I asked him what if I just order a new one and when it comes in I return the old one and he said he would deny that return. Frustrated I finally left and I called customer service only to be told that they would order a new one for pick up in Cleveland or I could just return the damaged one to Cleveland. Absolutely no compensation was offered for driving to Cleveland 3 times, waiting nearly 3 months (if this one is not damaged), being told my original pick up location was wrong or dealing with an arrogant Customer service person in North Olmsted who literally said to me “not my problem”. I explain to the customer service representative that we are still shopping for a recliner for a Remodel and then we would be also shopping for a living room set for our daughter. No discount was offered on the items I already purchased and after 3 months still do not have or even on a return visit. My husband loves this picture so I did we order it and we will be picking it up whenever it finally arrives in Cleveland, however I will not order anything else from them.

Terrible service , my mom with lung cancer bought a couch , love seat , and recliner. Waited 3 1/2 months to receive it. Second time sitting in it, it broke , 5 mins after delivery. Called immediately after and no one answers their phones ever. Now we have to keep the broken chair for an entire month because they won’t come and pick it up until they get the new one which is in another month or we can bring it back to the store ourselves and they’ll return our money but keep 15% of it even though the furniture was a piece of garbage that they delivered, the entire inside was cracked. I will never buy another thing from this place. Feels very scammy.

Sandy assisted me and went over and beyond to make my kitchen table decision as easy as possible. Sandy's ability to get to the find what we needed quickly exceeded any expectations I previously held. Within a few short moments, she was able to answer my questions, schedule my table, and get me on my way to enjoy the rest of my day! Such a commitment to great customer service is to be commended. Went looking with my Aunt for her living furniture and Sandy, sales person was a delight, no pushing sales rather she was knowledgeable and most helpful in narrowing down our selection. So, I will be returning with my man to purchase new dinning room furniture!!

So after a stressful couple of months, I’ve decided to edit my original review since this store truly cares about its customers! They took the time to contact me and discuss how they can correct my opinion on my experience. They went above and beyond to get me my dining set delivered within the week after speaking with me. To top it off my mom was at our home for the delivery today and said the two gentlemen were very polite, attentive and professional.

Ordered my recliner chair for my nursery online after picking out which one we liked at the store. This has been an easy process and Anthony and Alfonso made the delivery awesome! I did the 5 start delivery, they came right in the window which I was told about, set it all up and took the trash with them.

Awesome experience at this location. Michelle was super helpful with me when discussing different options and helped me select an excellent couch which I hope to spend many years lounging on. The delivery team of Norman and Bryce were also fantastic! They made the process super easy, helped show me how to put my couch together and take it apart if I ever want to move it, and helped me put my door back on the frame! (Lol)

Great place to shop. Everyone throughout the entire process was super helpful and went above and beyond. Mayson was very kind and friendly during the shopping process. She gave great information about the items I was looking at. I stopped by with my husband the night before pick up and even though the furniture was moved to the back of store for packaging, Will walked us back there so we could look at it!! It was much appreciated. Chris and Will helped at time of pick up. They are two great guys who really made sure everything was loaded up with care. Pick up was a breeze. Sandy is by far one of the nicest people I have ever met! She is not only helpful, but she also has a great taste in Furniture. As soon as we walked in the store, she greeted us with a friendly smile and welcomed us. While I was looking for a living room set, she asked me to show her a picture of my living room. She also asked what color my kitchen cabinets are, the color of our wood floor, and even the color of the walls. She helped me in picking the perfect furniture set that makes the whole house come together. Everyone loves it! After my furniture set was delivered, I had trouble with connecting the wires for the pieces that are supposed to recline. Sandy asked for my address and came over my house in her day off from work! She came over and called her co-worker Will from my house and told him about the issue. I was surprised to hear that Will wanted to help me too! I didn't have to wait or make an appointment with someone to come out. Will came over my house in the evening and connected the wires and answered my questions. I have NEVER experienced such a high quality customer service before! I have always been a fan of Value City Furniture but after after meeting Sandy, and getting help from Will, I would recommend them to anybody looking for a nice, modern furniture set and an Excellent customer Service. I walked into the store just to look and ended up purchasing a couch with the help of Will. He was very helpful when it came to making the right decision for me. Adriana helped keep the communication open when it came to the delivery and arrival of the couches. She called me when the couches arrived two weeks ahead of schedule. I will definitely go back for any of my furniture purchases in the future.
