2nd time around at this location, definitely was way better than during COVID time's. Had about 30 minute wait (it was Sunday afternoon), but was taken care of right away. Delicious 😋🤤 food, I had the fried fish kiddos had the chicken tenders and hubby had the fried chicken. Everything was delicious 😋🤤 our waitress Ericka was on top of refills and food.

Oh Babe's...what to say. Always a good experience with friendly service. You pick a main dish. Then all you can eat salad, biscuits, & sides. Usually a wait at busy eating times, but nice covered waiting area. Clean bathroom. Worth the wait. I know they concentrate on having good food but the only thing missing is a cold beer while you wait ouside. I have been to 3 locations & all have been great.

First time here I was excited but was slowly let down. Chicken was fresh, crispy and tasty. Sides were okay. Biscuits were delicious. Service was pretty bad despite them just opening and having about 8 servers just standing around. Got the coconut meringue pie to go, didn’t taste much like coconut besides the coconut crisps on top. I did want more sides and chicken but our waitress just brought us the check and left. I do wish they would be more clear on prices when ordering and quantity. It was good food but I wasn’t satisfied with the meal or service.

U know the place is good when u have unlimited real butter at the table. It was freezing outside while waiting for our table. The heaters were not keeping up. But once inside, it was all warm and cozy. Wait staff was great, explained how Babes works and I got the fried chicken. Everything was good but on the salty side. Biscuits were soft and fluffy and the butter and honey made it butter. Chicken was moist with a crunchy outside. I thought the crust was a little on the hard side but still delicious

We took my parents and sister to Babes in NRH for dinner this evening, at the request of my father, who wanted some fried chicken before flying back to Indy tomorrow. As always, started with the salad, topped with the delicious dressing, and accompanied by tasty hot biscuits. Our chicken dinner arrived shortly thereafter, along with generous helpings of corn, green beans, and mashed potatoes and white gravy. Everything was scrumptious as usual! Took cherry cobbler home for dessert. Babes always hits the spot!!

I love Babe’s chicken! Hands down some of my favorite fried chicken. This location is always consistent with good food and great service. Babe’s has fried chicken, smoked chicken, chicken tenders, fried catfish and chicken fried steak. The sides are family style so unlimited and include biscuits, salad, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and corn. Definitely worth a stop but bring your appetite!

Served family style with an hourly Hokey Pokey show this is a fun atmosphere. If you have never been to Babe's it works like this: you order your chicken. They bring your chicken and all the sides are family style in bowls you serve as much as you want. The chicken is all excellent. My favorite is the smoked chicken. Drinks are bottomless and always full. The desserts.... Wow. The wait staff are always personable and friendly. We love going to Babe's whenever we visit the area.

I haven’t been to Babes in years and listen they did not disappoint. The service was impeccable. Our waiter continued to check on us and ensure we were okay with refilling our water and bringing us anything requested. The fried chicken was fried crispy and was delicious. The green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, rolls all served family style. They even offer Salad and biscuits and delicious desserts for an additional cost. I forgot how much I love babes but will be back sooner than later. The person who started the book is also an author, so check out their book.

This Babe’s Chicken is the most unique looking location we’ve had the pleasure of dining at. The staff was super friendly and the food as Always never disappoints. This is a must visit location.

First time here. This was the NRH location. It was great, way too much food but we did have a large party of 12. So nothing went to waste. We did wait 45 min on a Sat evening but that was to be xpected.

The food is good but the price has skyrocketed to ridiculous AND the portion size has been cut in half. With inflation, I can understand one of the other, but not both. I’m sorry, but $18 for chicken fried steak that barely feeds one person is insane.

Okay so….my first time here - will not be the last! I didn’t quite know how things worked so was a little lost at the beginning when the the waiter said there aren’t any menus. So he told me what they had on the menu at this location, from what I can gather is they have different menus at the different locations. I landed on the Chicken Fried Steak, mashed potatoes, corn and green beans. I also ordered two drum sticks because I wanted to try the fried chicken after seeing some delivered to the table across from me. I could not believe when the order came it was SO MUCH FOOD! So learned at that time it’s family style and even alone you a family LOL! It was DELICIOUS - excuse me for yelling - it was all very good - I mixed the corn and mashed together and put some gravy on it all - yeah babe… When ever I travel I always try to eat somewhere I can’t get back home and preferably soul food or barbecue. When I have soul food I’m looking for that feeling from childhood with my mom and sisters, that Sunday after church meal. Eating at Babe’s Chicken took me back to it! Next time I’m going for the chicken dinner!

Wow 👌 👏 😍 👍 this place was great. So we came for the fried chicken 🐔. Ended up having fried chicken and smoked chicken 🐔! The smoked chicken was amazing! Highly recommend the smoked chicken. The sides were also great! We had corn,mash potatoes and gravy. The biscuits were also amazing 👏 😋! Soft warm and tasty. My sweet tea was on point! I heard that not all locations offer the smoked chicken. I can't confirm that yet. But if your out here and are hungry and wanting chicken. Then make this your stop.

This was our first time at this location and we absolutely loved it and our server Tristan was AMAZING and very attentive. The manager Dewayne was very polite as well he came out talked to us asked us how everything was did we enjoy the food and service that we were getting and just built great rapport with us we will be going back to this location when we come back in town AWESOME SERVICE DELICIOUS FOOD AND GREAT ATMOSPHERE THIS IS A MUST GO RESTAURANT

I had some high hopes for this place. In all the service was not that great from the moment I walked in the door. Food was good. But the biggest disappointment was all the waste of the food. I was only able to take my chicken fried steak and nothing else. To me that's a wast of food. My hopes for this place went down in flame's. I will not be back. Don't like to wast food and the service was lacking.

First time at this location, food is as good as other locations I've been to. Service is not bad either. Tables set very close together, you can easily join other customers' conversation. Since they don't give us menu, we didn't know the price for anything. We found out from our check that chicken is $18 for one order and which is not bad.

Love the food! Family style country food. Choose your meat & the table gets served a salad, mashed potatoes, green beans, gravy, & creamed corn with warm biscuits. While eating, your entertained by the server’s singing & dancing to various songs, like the Hokie Pokie. Our waitress was fantastic & the food was awesome! We had pie for dessert & it was delicious! Was so good, I ordered a whole pie to take home with me. I took off one star because my last impression of the place was left by the cashier, who had no customer service & lacked tact. It won’t keep me from coming back, but her customer interaction could use some improvement.

Amazing tasty food! Fried Chicken made to perfection. Sides delicious. Mashed potatoes so yummy. Great value for your money. Great service! Forgot to get our server name but she was very attentive and sweet.

First time visiting and had a great experience! We had a group of 5 plus this extra guy, in the photo, who joined our party. Haha! Food was delicious, unlimited sides and the waitress worked with us on ordering 2 meats to begin with to cut cost until we decided to order our 3rd to split among our group. We had the fried chicken, chicken strips, and smoked chicken. All were fantastic! Loved the biscuits and mashed potatoes as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone who would love a traditional southern home style meal!

First time here. I Had never heard of this place before. It's like a buffet but at your table. You are served a salad with biscuits. I'm not a fan of the salad because of the sweet vinaigrette dressing but those biscuits will make you stuff yourself silly!! There were 3 of us and we each got something different so we could try a bit of everything. The green beans leave something to be desired but the mash potatoes, corn, and gravy were really good.

Went here on fathers day with my big family. They told us it would be a 50-55 minute wait but it wasn’t that long. Even though they were very busy they got us in quick. They will not sit you without your whole party there. Food was delicious and service was amazing. We tried all of their meat options and all were delicious! It’s also BYOB so don’t forget your cold beer! Will definitely go back!

First time trying it don’t think my stomach could do it again. Thin cut chicken fried steak was tough and greasy. Mashed potatoes were bland. Corn was the best part of the meal
