Staff is not welcoming. They take non member reservations and then when you arrive, they shun you away for not being a member... even though the reservation platform clearly says "non members can reserve squash courts for $10" Front door person was rude and condescending. We asked him to show us the squash courts to see if we'd like to sign up for memberships in the future. Instead of showing us around and telling us about their club, he said "no, you can't even be on the property" in the most condescending tone. Place was completely empty and smelled like an old carpet. Avoid.

Very cute and hidden hem in toronto. My friends got married at this venue and I would recommend it if you're in the area for small to medium sized weddings! Parking is surprisingly affordable and there's plenty of it behind this venue !

Classy and sophisticated, but not pretentious! The food, the service and the staff are just wonderful! A little while ago I organized my partner's surprise birthday party at the UCT and I still get comments from friends about how much they enjoyed the night there. Truly a special event venue!

I got married at the UCT and this really is a hidden gem. If you are willing to invest a bit more on the elegant timeless classic wedding venue with top notch service, food, beverage, ambience, accommodation and client experience, and really impress your guests, I highly recommend this place. All my guests loved being here so much they keep raving about this place. Staff are super friendly and they go out of their way to deliver to your needs. We were married here in 2016 and at the time our staff was amazing. Jill was fantastic to work with, and even though she is no longer there - the service remained too notch during our recent stay. The use of Aesop product is also top-notch!
