Soul Cafe is a family owned and operated business and is a much needed edition to Olympia for food and drink. You will leave feeling nourished all around. From the kind and knowledgeable owners and staff as well as what you eat and drink. I had such a wonderful experience. The water bottles and to go tea bottles they are selling are so cool! I had planned on saving half my sandwich for my son, but finished it long before I got to him on the ten minute drive. Great art, great vibes, great energy. Such an awesome place for many occasions- to study, meet with friends or just go have a lunch date alone. If you aren't vegan Soul Cafe may make you reconsider with all of the wonderful options. Great variety of things whether you want a smoothie, juice, sandwich a snack etc., all made with love goods. You will not be disappointed if you go

Update! Sept 1, 2023 Uploaded a picture of their chicken and Brie Sammie. With an add on side of herbed fries. Food tasted amazing! Chicken was juicy. The fries had a lot of flavor. I also got the spiced mocha with House made cashew milk. I like that it’s not too sweet. ———————————— I dropped in for the first time since Leland’s place closed. I was really happy to see it still has a great vibe. They improved the seating indoors and outdoors too. The menu looks delicious too and if you crave Leland’s old Tofu Banh Mi, it’s still there. I had the wild mushroom and cheese toast. Great ingredients btw. When it came out I took a few bites before realizing it was missing the spinach. So I mentioned it and handed over my sandwich. I thought they would just put it on what I had left but they remade the whole order and placed it beside my old order. How sweet and unexpected! I want to come back and explore the thoughtful selections on the menu. I really appreciate the bountiful vegan options. I am into energy and vibe so I think their water bottles are pretty fun too. Come support these guys. They’re cool. My massage practice is close by and I can’t wait to come back.

What a perfect place to grab a sandwich, green juice, exotic coffee and sit outside or in. Charming all round, kind staff and you can take Yoga in the other part of the building!!

Amazing and kind staff. Great food, healthy and delicious and meeting your dietary needs. My bestie & I loved the outdoor seating, even in December!! :) They keep it a comfortable temperature so you can sit out and enjoy their little oasis while you eat. Soul Cafe is next to a yoga studio which I'm super curious about now too.

Delicious food and beverages with everything being vegan and gluten free possible. Really nice, helpful and thoughtful staff. Not sure I quite agree with "best fries in town" but are definitely very good with some really nice homemade sauces to go with Update: been here again and still wonderful. Though I did want to call out that their banh mi is served in a hotdog/hoagie bun instead of the Vietnamese baguette it should be which is disappointing

Hidden gem of Olympia. I had the mushroom toast and mushroom soup with a chai and paid about $30 with tip. Everyone was extra flavorful and delicious. I'll definitely be back. Good place for a lunch date. Vegetarian friendly. I also liked that they packaged things with compostable containers. The staff were friendly and helpful. Did took a little while to come out, but from walking in to leaving was probably 30 minutes, with time to eat. Good place to bring a book and read while you wait. Seating inside is limited, there's more outside. It felt a little cold inside temperature wise but once I had my drink I was comfortable. Atmospherically, it's a match for the yoga studio next door. Lots of crystal stuff for sale, plants. Plenty of parking and kids would ok here if they liked the menu.

Anytime I need to run errands in Olympia, I make sure to stop by and fill up my tea growler along with my stomach. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and sitting outside is wonderful on a beautiful sunny day.

I forget to take pictures of my smoothie. They are so good. I ordered a green one and chocolate peanut butter power smoothie. I highly recommend the smoothie. The sandwich is ok, not bad and not amazing. But I really like their outdoor sitting. They are dog friendly

The person who took our order was very kind and helped me with choosing out a blended coffee mocha drink. It was amazing. Their cashew milk they make in house was also a pleasant surprise for us. I highly recommend visiting, two thumbs up!

They have good vegan options. LOADS OF FREE PARKING! Loads of outside covered seating. They use organic produce

I had the golden milk latte, cuban with herb fries and everything was divine. This is a gem of a spot, couple small tables inside and a beautiful outdoor seating area!

LOVE this place. Great drinks, conscientiousness towards food sourcing and quality (organic, local, no mystery meats!). Everything is always super fresh which I appreciate very much! It shows that the staff and owners are committed to putting out quality and consistent food. The salad dressing is awesome. Definitely my go to sandwich and/or salad spot in Olympia--nowhere else compares. If you're concerned about the quality of food you're putting in your body, then this is the place to go. The atmosphere is very nice too--very comfortable, minimal indoor seating, but a well thought out patio with heat if needed.

We went here in a whim, just wanting someplace to eat outside on this beautiful day. We had their brie and cucumber sandwich. The baguette was crunchy outside and soft inside. Very tasty indeed. Paired with their draft cardamom cream soda, it made for a nice light lunch. The staff were very nice and helpful. A little bit of a wait, but we’ll worth it.

Couple friends and I went here for an early dinner. Everything was amazing. From the food. Our drinks, the atmosphere and the staff. The owner(I believe) was incredibly helpful and so sweet when I was a little weirdo about what tea I was looking for. And the tea was amazing. Pineapple Express was the name I believe. I shared the raspberry grilled cheese with a side of friends. Was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Like. It was so perfectly crafted. We are planning on coming back more often for our hang outs.

Great spot tucked away off a main road, cozy but not cramped, gorgeous outdoor covered seating area that's being expanded with fire and performance space. The food was excellent and priced reasonably for the area. Best coffee around, and the tofu sandwich was scrumptious. Just wish they had a giant egg scramble or hardy omelette for hungry hippies.

This place my favorite place to eat in all of Olympia. There’s something for everybody here. I ordered a seasonal Pumpkin Smoothie and my toddler was nice enough to share some with me.; my partner said it’s the best smoothie he’s ever had in his life (and he ran a smoothie business at one time). My teenager was very happy with his latte. Edited to add that the Tofu Banh Mi is INCREDIBLE. You can tell that they’ve put a lot of thought into this place: the menu, the ambiance… and they don’t cheap out on ingredients, but the food is very reasonably priced. I will be back every time I’m nearby.

So happy this spot, formerly Rainbow Cloud Cafe, is back on the map. New owners and a similar but improved menu, including a chocolate ‘mylkshake’ that contends with the best I've ever had. Friendly and personable service make this spot a welcome oasis for all.

Every time we come here the food is perfect. I LOVE the raspberry chicken sandwich with lemon, the entire combo is mouth watering. They are very skilled in their combinations of food. Yummmmm!

A+++ on everything from ambiance, customer service, quality of ingredients, taste of EVERYTHING! Mostly all organic and local and in-house made ingredients which my body is always happy about 😋 they always have adorable and awesome retail items for sale! Kombucha and probiotic sodas on tap?!? This place is a hidden gem of a heaven on earth 🙌🏼 The Avocat and the Chicken raspberry are my two favorite Sammie's. Almond butter protein and lavender blueberry are my fave mylkshakes. All the fresh juices are amazing. My favorite hot drinks are the spiced mocha and the golden milk lattes. I love that they make their own organic cashew milk!! Worth the extra buck hands down.

This place has great gluten free options on the sandwiches for a decent portion size also! Plenty of vegan and dairy free options with their drinks and foods, able to modify most anything. Also has some cool lil trinkets and stickers and other things for sale including pieces by local artists as well as a few tinctures with varying availability. Their outdoor seating is lovely, cozy and quiet, and they have heaters now that it's the colder season. Their bathroom is located in the yoga studio next door. They also have some other local business' cards up by the front door, and they hold events in their outdoor space on the little stage out there. All in all, pretty comfy cozy space any time of year with great food a bev options in addition to some great finds in the shop portion too!
