Best place to eat when you are visiting Olympia. Aya sushi, I say AYA! The rolls are delicious, all the ingredients extremely fresh and they manage to keep the same quality even in home deliveries. The prices are very good and the service is also very friendly 👍

Aya Sushi is a hidden gem! The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the ambiance is great. A delightful find when passing through.

Great atmosphere for a date night! We came here for a dinner date and had excellent service and the sushi was great. We also ordered the soft shell crab which was really good. Our food was ready super quickly. It was a Monday night and wasn’t busy or loud at all.

Usually we go to Sushi House but it was packed, thought it's been awhile since I've had Ayas so I'd give them a try again. The menu that was handed to me had what looked like soy sauce on the front.. Which I was thrown off by, cleaning is a top essential. The miso soup was almost the worst I've had, glad it wasn't all the way watered down but the taste just wasn't miso. The deep fried roll(Oly Roll) was slightly warm... Which isn't how deep dried rolls should be. Wasn't cooked long enough. The triple rainbow roll the seaweed in it was chewy. The ont one we enjoyed was the orange delight even though the salmon was close to the slimey stage 🥲 We didn't get food poisoning but it was a bummed and it wasn't something I'd pay 40 ish bucks again. The place only had one other customer in it so not a lot of people come in it seems.

I’ve been here with my family 3 times! Every time the sushi is fresh and the cuts are huge, they don’t skimp out. The staff is super friendly and takes pride in their work! Best quality and price in Olympia or Lacey

Friendly staff and the rolls were soo good! Recommend even going with a friend and sitting at the bar and talking with the chefs. Great atmosphere and again the rolls were phenomenal.

I have lived in many places that have the freshest and most delicious sushi and also places with good sushi, but not quite the mark of those coastal, fresh sushi locations. Aya Sushi is fresh with fish that has a fresh out of the ocean taste and firmness to the fish that you only get with quality chosen and properly handle fish. The presentation of the dishes is simple, clean and beautiful. The staff and service was kind and attentive. The Sushi chef’s were kind and clearly desired to know if you were happy and well attended to. They clearly took care to prepare the sushi without over flavoring even the more complex rolls. The atmosphere was calming and made a considerable average location a little hidden oasis. Everyone around me was happy with their meals also and walked away with a smile. Do not hesitate to make a drive to dine here!

I’ve been here several times the past 7 years. Love their giant selection of rolls, the fresh miso soup is always great, the food is tasty and high quality, and the staff are always very friendly. It’s a little slower than usual since they seem to be looking to hire more servers. Just have some patience and be friendly! The dragon roll is my absolute favorite roll and I always love a side of seaweed salad.

FREAKING AMAZING! I had just moved to the area late last year and when my birthday rolled around I wanted sushi, my husband found this place and ordered the rolls for me…I was so impressed at how good they were! Well last night we both ordered sushi from them and I went to pick it up, I got there a couple minutes early so I went inside to wait. I was shocked at how nice the ambiance is and how friendly all the staff is, every staff member acknowledged me at least once while I waited. I picked up my order and took it home, just as good as the first time & my husband said their California roll is better than a lot of other places. Sushi pictured: crunch roll and fireball roll

Amazing food! I am an over the road truck driver, very much wish u could have dined in but it was delivered by doordash very quickly! I try new local foods a often as u can in my travel and this is top tier. From coast to coast, Aya is the MOST!

Quiet, warm, clean, and friendly. I've eaten here twice; once dine-in and the other to-go. The fish is nice quality and generous in proportion. The presentation is pretty and the sauces are delicious. My dine-in visit, I ordered the roll on special that day (pictured). It was a little too big to take in one bite. But what a way to go! The agedashi tofu was crisp, but order this with the sauce on the side. Sitting on it, the last two pieces were already sauce-logged. They also have soy paper rolls, which I wasn't crazy about. I'm looking forward to a 3rd visit.

Placed an order to go. Got the egg rolls, gyoza, crunch roll and rockstar roll. Overall the wait was short, staff were nice, and the food was pretty good! Parking in front of the restaurant was available, located in a strip mall. Short term parking available as well for pick up. Restaurant appeared clean. I do not believe there is a website and the pics of the menu are a little outdated.

Comfortable setting with delicious food. Good place for a date night or colleague lunch. We ordered the dragon roll and Ichi roll with miso soup. Pricing was reasonable. Decor is modern Asian inspired. It's a nice temperature inside with comfortable seating. Service took a while, but if you're not in a hurry it wouldn't be a big deal. Parking was easy to get. You might bring well behaved kids here but it's a judgement call. It's definitely not rowdy inside so I wouldn't bring really young ones.

Not a big fan of sushi but my wife is. Thought we'd give it a try for her birthday and dand was I impressed. Definitely will be back and my rolls were delicious and my wife had a beautiful and tasty one as well. Great service and good rolls at a good price.

Great place, excellent serving, decent level of the restaurant. The boss personally went out and asked if we liked everything. Definitely, if we're in this area, we'll stop by again.

Wow, it’s the best sushi I’ve ever had! Super delicious and fresh fish, nice service and cozy atmosphere. I love it there and now it’s definitely one of my favourite restaurants! Also the togo service is lovely prepared ☺️ thank you, Team Aya :)

We go here frequently for date nights and they NEVER disappoint. The service is always quick and friendly and the food is delicious. We live about 45 minutes away but won't go anywhere else for sushi.

Food is usually good but salmon had a funny smell this time around. Some places made supply chain changes due to price increases, maybe this is related? Rude staff member as well, not sure what’s going on, didn’t use to be like this here. Will not come back for a while, was surprised by this disappointing visit.

I normally order today but wanted to have the dine in experience outside of what I normally do. The food was good as usual but my dine experience wasn’t the best at all. I was poorly greeted upon entering and my waiter wasn’t too attentive. My only complaint about the food was too much avocado. I’ll definitely stick to ordering to go.

Their sushi and rolls are generally good and the eating area has a nice, dark, cozy feel to it. Before covid we came here often for lunch. This time I had the volcano roll. It's a good choice if you're not much of a fish person. If you you're wanting to taste the fish it's pretty buried in the flavor of cream cheese and all the sauces.

Kind staff and clean restaurant in a corner strip mall. The portion sizes were quite fair for the price and made to order at the main counter. Salmon was a hair on the fishy side but the tuna was fresh and our appetizer and yakisoba quite good, not too greasy. Would be happy dining in again.

Bluefin tuna was perfect. Proportions were thoughtful. We also got the veggie tempura, shrimp tempura roll and chicken karaage. Everything was phenomenal and will definitely be back.

Ordered 2 bento boxes for take out for a picnic lunch and it was ready in only 15 min. I have nothing but praises for this place. I’ll have to try dining in next time; the ambiance is lovely! The sampling of everything amounted to a little more than a full meal and it was all delicious, right down to the sauces and salad dressing. I loved it and so did my teenager. My new favorite place.

The actual execution and structure of the sushi itself was really really nice; as was the service. The soft shell crab itself I can still taste three hours later every time I burp. Fingers crossed on where Ill be in 3-4 more hours. The imitation crab salad has far too much mayonnaise in it for my tastes but these two critiques aside I would return and try something that didn't have either of these things in it. The eel was very nice.

The food is great, guys at sushi bar are lovely, serves are kind, maybe a little bit slow tho :) Once I was waiting for service when it was busy and did not get attention for like 10 minutes so I left.

The sushi was absolutely great! The customer service, not so much. My fiance and I have been to Aya Sushi multiple times with a great experience, but tonight our server was completely unprofessional. The hostess that sat us was very kind, but when our server came to our table they immediately started coughing stating they were at a concert last night. My fiance and I were understandable because we go out and lose our voices at shows too, so we were polite and asked her what show she went to after she came to check on us because we were curious and wanted to engage with our server as we both respect the stress of customer service. After the sushi came, it was perfect! Absolutely delicious and too much to eat. The main complaint is after we were done eating and trying to pay, my fiance and I were talking about splitting the bill, but I decided to pay because she deserved it. As we were discussing, the server asked if we were siblings or just started dating, then after taking my card she continued to judge us talking trash from ear distance away so we heard everything she said. Once she came back, we both felt uncomfortable. I still left a tip because I know how hard the service industry can be, but we will not be coming back again and give our business to sushi train or trappers sushi. The food was 10/10, but our server was a 1/10.

SO SCRUMPTIOUS!!! I’ve never had sushi this good in my whole entire life. AYA SUSHI IS MY FAVORITE! The staffs are extremely nice and patient. Food came out warm and quick even tho the restaurant was packed! Will definitely recommend.

It took over two hours to get our food correct. They brought it to us wrong twice. We waited an hour in between the wrong food and right food. On top of that we didn't get our main meal (The very first thing we ordered) because the lady forgot to write it down. At that point we just left because we'd already been there for over two hours. 5/5 DONT RECOMMEND if you want your food on time, and correct. Food was good when it was right though.
