Serve me a juicy fried taco thing with a side of steaming hot chili infused broth — please! Delicious meats cheeses salsas, fish and shrimp tacos, house made horchata, soups. We went on a cold winter night and found warmth … yes in the hot food but also in the greetings and conversation we enjoyed with the family that owns and runs this humble cheerful heartful little spot. Long-time cooks at another restaurant, they finally went for it and opened their on place and you can feel their joy! Family members who weren’t working were sitting at a big table nearby visiting among themselves. There should be way more places like this, bringing everyone together in a labor of love ❤️

First time trying Huicholitos, and I am so glad I did! I had their QuesoBirria Tacos, and they are easily my favorite I've tried in western Washington. I'm always on the hunt for a Gem, and this place is a Gem.

So I’m on a quest to find the BEST Birria tacos! I was excited to try this with the reviews I read. It’s inside the gas station, there is seating. I ordered Quesabirria. It came with 3 and consumè. The red on the tacos WILL stain your clothes if you get any on them TRUST ME LOL! The food all seemed fresh and cooked well but I did have to add salt to both the tacos and the consumè. The meat was tender but not super flavorful. They were good but not great. I would go back but I’d try something else.

My hubby discovered Huicholitos through a friend at work who brought him some queso birria tacos from there. My hubby told me about this place, and he took me there. We had the tortas de carnitas, and a large horchata, and a large aqua de Pina, I did not much care for either of the drinks, but the tortas were very very good!! Also the queso birria tacos that my hubby had prior (he also bright some home to me) were incredible!!! I cannot wait to go back!!! If you want good Mexican food, "Huicholitos" is the place to go. And also this place is very very clean, that was definitely a plus!

Great food! It is in a gas station but the seating is comfortable. Service was excellent. They made sure we were happy. The chicken crema was the best! Parked right outside the door which is nice on a rainy day.

This is the best Mexican spot in Olympia by a mile. It is in such a weird unexpected place but cannot be underestimated.

It was so good, we went back again 4 days later! Wish we lived close to a place like this. We ordered almost the same thing both times because we were so happy with it. I got tacos (carne asada and shrimp with avocado salsa). My husband got the California chicken burrito. I liked that too! We're so glad we found this place. It was a little weird at first that it's in a gas station, but it's pretty quiet and feels more like a diner once you get used to it. Also has outdoor seating.

Bad experience! The guacamole in my burrito was brown the meat taste like rubber not seasoned filled with mostly rice after paying for double meat.

This is a "run-don't-walk" type of place, like you should be there right now eating this food. Holy cripes I'm just blown away. It has a vibe that says "this food is going to be very good", and there is no letdown. Frozen Gansito for a buck after some crazy good birria tacos, heck yeah. 11/10!

Food is amazing here. I’m from Arizona and love good Mexican Food. This is delicious. Birria was great taste like they really pay attention and take time , salsa was great the green is just the perfect mild (1 /5 salsas we got were rotten) just smelled fermented but I just didn’t eat that one but other than that and that is just a simple mistake. It was really delicious food. Guacamole is on point. I got the Quesibirria and added one more to the plate. You will have to add an extra or two tacos because it is to good to only have 3. Yummy

The best ceviche ever!! Their ceviche tropical is bomb! The mixture of the mango and pineapple with shrimp makes it so delicious.

My wife was hesitant because the restaurant is in a gas station. Don't let location make you pass this place by. The food is phenomenal! We are from AZ and are familiar with great Mexican food. This restaurant would be outstanding located anywhere.

Anything is good. It's difficult to single out an item. If I could give a sixth star for atmosphere I would. Everyone is so nice and genuinely friendly. There's a pride in service execution and product here that is hard to find in the area. I leave happier every time. 'Can't believe they were open for almost a year before I went here. Thank you for existing.

It is inside the gas station. The food was amazing! Had the burritos supreme and the wet tacos. The super high light is their off the chart hot sauces. I will definitely stop in again when I am driving through Olympia.

So glad I saw this place when I searched for tacos. So good! We got tacos Al pastor and a shrimp quesadilla, both were absolutely delicious! Don’t let the fact that it’s in a gas station fool you, this place is legit!

Small Mexican restaurant located in a gas station. A hole in the wall. Decent food, although I had to remove one star on this review for the carne asada being very fatty. I have experienced various "street tacos," which were less fatty in quality to taste and visually see. Still, the tacos tasted good enough to eat. The Shrimp taco was fine.

The food was fantastic. It arrived quick and looked fresh and appealing. I ate there and it feels strange eating in a gas station. But I was fine with it. I will say, there was some interesting folks hanging in and around the place. I had no trouble, but feels a little off putting. I will be back for food again. Most likely take out

Even though this place is in a totally out of the way gas station, I can't give it anything other than five stars on all dimensions. Finding authentic food in this area was a blessing and I just can't say enough about how awesome little team that made our meal was. It's clear they love making great food for people. Highly recommended for tasty quick bites.

The food is great. The quesabirria was delicious and the burrito was a monster. The downside? Its location in a gas station. The people wandering in and out after dark are super sketchy. Also, the menu is a little limited. I would have liked flautas, but they only come with pork, which I don't like. Also, no chips for purchase. : ( Still, the food is worth going there!

Service is excellent, friendly, and prompt! I came to try their quesabirria tacos since I've lately been hankering for some tacos dorados de birria with consome. The quesabirria tacos weren't quite as flavorful and textured as I was hoping, still tasty/enjoyable though - they were super oily and cheesy (I wanted more crunch), and I liked the consome. This spot is located in a gas station so I got my order to go, but they do have a seating area that you share with gas station customers. Paid $13 and some change before tip for 3 of the standalone quesabirrias and was satisfactorily full.

An interesting gas station holds a very good Mexican restaurant. The Birria was very good and the owners are friendly. It's an awesome stop if you are in the area.

One of my favorite things is the ceviche. It's got the perfect flavor and spice. All that I've had from the menu is super authentic and great. I would totally recommend this to anyone. Horchata is so good too! Check this place out and you won't regret it. Thank you to my dear friend who recommended it!

Cute little spot in the Shell gas station, good food, reasonable prices and there is indoor seating. Great place to go on your lunch break.

The food here is so soooooo good. I haven't found a dish I didn't like. You really can't go wrong with the food here. The only negative is the location. It's in a very sketchy area with homeless/drug addicts hanging around. Makes us a bit uncomfortable coming here. But you cannot go wrong with the food. It's fantastic!

Now this is good Mexican food. Don't be put off by the location - inside a gas station is a time honored border tradition for great food at great prices. It's all made to order, and smelled as amazing as it tasted. Their quesabirria was spectacular, and they also had cool seasonal options - try the ceviche! I've lived at the border most of my life, spoiled for options, and I missed the real thing so bad until I found this place. This is the best Mexican food I've found in Olympia so far.

The shrimp and Cucumbers was terrible!!! The shrimp was mushy. Way to much sauce was like soup. The Cucumbers were drowning in the sauce. Nothing like the picture. Eill never order there again.

Surprised with how good the food is. This place is located in a gas station so my expectations were low. The food was very delicious. We had the burrito and quesobirra and it did not disappoint. Will definitely be coming back the next time I pass through.
