I spent two nights at Offutt Manor on a quick solo trip to Omaha. The house was beautiful and it was cool to wander the rooms on the main level and explore the house. It’s incredibly charming and a little spooky. I stayed in The Creighton room with had two large rooms and huge bathroom including a large beautiful claw foot bathtub which was honestly the highlight for me. The only real negatives that I experienced were that the floor and rugs could have used a good vacuuming and there were moldy leftovers in my fridge. Overall a good experience, centrally located, and I’d definitely stay again.

Such a very cool place to stay. From KC and went to visit the omaha zoo for the weekend and stayed in the carriage house because all other rooms were booked in the manor, didn't have the best expectation for staying in a separate building but it was still an amazing experience. You still get to visit the inside of the manor and check out all of the cool history. The carriage house is very cozy and has plenty of room. They keep this place in great condition. Looking forward to returning in the future and staying in the penthouse! Thank you guys for preserving history. The last picture is of the outside of the carriage house. I couldn't find any pictures on their website of it so I hope this is helpful to anyone interested.

Loved the location. Beautiful neighborhoods to walk in and nice restaurants nearby… downtown, the zoo, and others big attractions were easy 10 min drives away. It was fun to meet other guests and see where they were from. Stayed in “the Creighton” room… Given the age of the house I don’t want to leave too negative of a review but our room was extremely warm both nights/days. Also, there was an overpowering smell of cleaners on the floors that never went away, someone must have used almost straight “fabuloso” or something similar. Kitchen had the basics for cookware, the pool table was huge, and there were interesting things to read, along with some games. We were not able to relax though because we had small children with us and noises travel fast in there… we were constantly worried about waking other guests up and getting in the way. So I wouldn’t recommend this place for young children…

Anyone who has OldHouseDreams on their search history will want to stay here. Not just because the integrity of the house and its history have been well integrated but because the work put into the property appears effortless- meaning the rooms have the charm of a historic mansion with the comfort you expect. The house is so beautiful and there’s enough privacy and convenience you get the feeling you’re staying with friends-really rich friends. 😉

Super easy self check in process, be sure to go into the main hall once you get inside, the grand staircase is incredibly beautiful. We stayed in the Magnolia room, the sunroom was perfect for my wife and I to relax and read in. We enjoyed the history displays of the Manor and the Offutt family. The pool table was a fun way to pass time. Our next stay will definitely involve bringing some of our friends along and enjoying the space even more! The location was easy to get to, parking was a breeze, and you're just a few blocks from some spectacular dining and nightlife options. Overall, a wonderful place to stay and a great alternative to boring hotels.

We did not stay the night (we visited friends that were). And, I must say, more than five stars to the folks that brought the mansion back to life. It is absolutely stunning inside. I LOVE how they have posted the history of the mansion and family in little spots all around the home. Our friends room was beyond amazing.

We had a fabulous stay at The Offutt Manor! We couldn’t get over how amazing it is. I can’t stop gushing about it to anyone who will listen. It’s exactly the type of unique experience we value most when traveling. The history of both the home, the family, and the Gold Coast Historic District was an excellent touch. Even small details were not overlooked, like how lots of coasters were provided to keep the beautiful vintage furniture looking pristine. We look forward to staying there again!

Stayed a month in the Ford Suite before moving into my own place in Omaha. This place is special! A gorgeous relic of the past, complete with a mini museum on the main floor (military history buffs will appreciate the tribute to WWI pilot Jarvis Offutt, who grew up in the home). I especially enjoyed the sunroom, walking distance to Blackstone and the Joslyn Castle lawns, and getting to meet other guests from all over (often over coffee in the shared kitchen). Whether you’re in on business, with family, or for an extended time, The Offutt Manor feels homey in the heart of Omaha—you’ll want to come back!

I stayed at the Offut Manor while visiting family in Omaha. During my 3 day stay I was the only person there. While some people may have found that scary in an old home, I personally loved it. My family members thought I was crazy to stay all alone. Hahaha. I will definitely be back!!

This was a great place to stay for our getaway weekend and so unique! Check in and check out was easy, and it is not far from downtown and good restaurants. We stayed in the Brando Penthouse and loved having our own kitchen and big space!

We are the kind of travelers that embrace places with character and charm. On our last night of a one month road-trip, we had to stay in Omaha and stumbled upon the Offutt Manor. It turned out to be the most unique stay and best value of our trip. The property was huge for so few rooms, and the public rooms were open to guests for use. After settling in, we walked 3 blocks to a great restaurant, then returned home for a beer and game of snooker. The staff were attentive to assuring we had what we needed both before we got there, and on arrival. I very much wanted to give the property a 5 star rating, but they were not quite there yet. They had just opened and were still working out some of the bugs with communication and internet. We look forward to staying there again.

I’m giving this lovely place 5 stars but please keep reading. The place has some management that oversee’s it but we never saw them. The water was an issue in our room. Hot and cold were not labeled which made it challenging and the water took a long while to warm. Our room was overbooked somehow so a couple came and punched in the same code we had to get into our room hours after we checked in. This made us feel uneasy that others knew the code and could access our room and we never heard a thing from management of the property about this although the other couple that attempted to come in did call them and the couple left and found another place to stay.

My husband, daughter and I stayed in the Brondo Penthouse. Pictures online did not do it justice. The woodwork throught the house is gorgeous! The room had it's own kitchen. Coded locks so we could come and go as we pleased. This was close to the zoo without being seedy or expensive.

Beautiful! So many details in the architecture and the decor. Wonderful location for our all day workshop. Kitchen and dining room and living room and bathroom were all perfectly located for a great setup. Comfortable, spacious, accomodating. Highly recommend.

What an AWESOME place! It's like stepping back in time 120 years but with all the modern conveniences and amenities. We stayed in the Paxton Room on the 2nd of three floors and were very pleased. We'll definitely stay again the next time we visit Omaha from Texas. Thank you Misty for your help and hospitality.

Stayed in the Astaire room for my birthday. The manor itself is beautiful, quiet, and right across the street from the picturesque Joslyn Castle. It’s in a great location that gives you the feeling of blissful privacy without being separated from the events and nightlife the city has to offer. Checking in was easy (once we located the right email from management in the spam folder). Our room was beautifully set up (see photos) for our arrival and everything just felt cozy and wonderful. The only real “downsides”, if they can even be called that—maybe oddities would be a better word—were 1) there was no temperature control in the room, so the room temp was a little warmer than we generally like, but the ceiling fan helped ease that 2) the water temp in the shower takes quite a while to warm up, but gets nice and hot once it’s kicking 3) the step in the entryway of the bathroom was…interesting—and steep. We were making “doozy” jokes the whole stay and were placing bets on who would be the first to crack their shins on it in the middle of the night (we never did). Overall just little quirks that really didn’t take away too much from the experience, and may have even just added to the charm when it was all said and done. Thanks for a great outing!
