Because of all the great reviews, we really wanted to love this place and the food. Unfortunately, we probably won't be back. We started out as dine in and ended up taking our orders to go. It was too cold and just not comfortable dining in. Once we got home the food was the problem. Both the chicken fried chicken and the chicken fried steak were tough and overcooked. The eggs were ordered as over easy yet weren't properly cooked at all with the egg whites still raw. The pancakes were delicious however they could have been better without the broken off plastic tab from a tub (picture included). The server was quick to greet us and was both friendly and personable. It's just not a place for us.

The food portions are quite generous, the pricing is very affordable, the ambiance is cool diner, but the service was the only thing I had an issue with. Tot nachos 5 stars The amount of meat you get on this is insane. Makes good a very nice breakfast, but just an Appy. Giant cinnamon roll 5 stars I'm not big into cinnamon lately, but this got my 5 stars because the texture was what dreams are made of. Super fluff, light and airy. It wasn't too sweet for me either which is often a problem. My only issue might be the size as I don't tend to eat much, but I'd still want to order this to share with friends to show off. Breakfast chimichanga 4 stars Everything about this was great, but my issue was it lacked sauce. If there was more on the side to add to the plate it would have gotten a 5. Barbacoa grilled cheese 4.25 stars It's a great combination. The fries were a 4 but there also weren't that many. The grilled cheese sandwich with the meat itself however was an excellent item. I didn't try the other items pictured as those were what my friends ordered. Everyone seemed happy with their meals and had no complaints. Service was not exceptionally friendly and the server didn't look happy serving us (she wasn't mean, she just seemed there), but aside from that it was pretty standard service. She did help us take a photo which we appreciated. Parking is available for free on the street. I found a spot that said maximum 2 hours.

We went here after the Benson Beer Fest to eat and soak up the beer before heading home. Super friendly employees, super generous portions and beyond reasonable prices! We tried the waffles, pancakes, chicken sandwich and burgers, plus shared the mac and cheese and chicken nugs as appetizers. We enjoyed all of it!

I had the chicken fried steak. It tasted good but then I cut into the middle and it wasn't cooked through. The gravy was weird tasting and very salty. The overhead music was way too loud. The host wouldn't turn it down until several people complained. Our server was Kayla and she was great. Parking is at a minimum, especially for handicapped folks. Prices are higher than they should be and it is definitely not worth the money. Won't go back.

Wonderful attentive service on a busy First Friday in Benson. Fun atmosphere and decorations. Food came out hot and flavorful. Chicken fried chicken is breaded per order and the absolute BOMB! Cloth napkins take the diner experience up a notch. Can't wait to come back and try more things out!

Place was busy, but that's a good sign right?! Food was great, customer service was great and it didn't take long to get food.. only one issue was we had to sit in the back near an Access door for the Wait staff.. so we kept having to move to let them in and out the door when they needed products.

OK I have heard a lot about this place… I’m going to be honest I wasn’t expecting it to be good. I have walked past it so many times but never been inside. For me, diners usually mean cheap, greasy food. This was different. The interior was beautiful, the menus were incredible (amazing design and quality, iykyk) and SUCH a fun atmosphere! Every single song was such a banger! I couldn’t stop dancing in my chair haha. If you’re looking for real food for breakfast… And delicious food, you need to try this place! They had the best staff – everyone was so friendly and in such a good mood. At some point you need to try the chicken and waffles! But no matter what you try, I’m sure it’ll be amazing.

Bottomless mimosas, some of the best breakfast food I've ever had & an eclectic vibe. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. The neighborhood surrounding is perfect for walking around & trying different adult beverages. Highly recommend.

I was very tired with what to order & I almost ordered food To go. I only didn’t because I wanted it to be fresh. I was talking so much I was ready whenever the waitress kept coming to take our order. I wish I could remember her name. She was so nice & patient with us. I just said a cheeseburger out of peer pressure lol my friend got. Basic steak & eggs that she wanted to send back, but I talked her out of it, to take home & fix it up herself. I am a big French fry lover & these were very disappointing. They could’ve let them cook a bit longer & put some seasoning or at least some salt on them maybe. Incredibly bland & as delicious as the burger were, sadly the fries did not compliment. The table to our left had the daily waffle special which was banana nut waffles, & her dad got pancakes 🥞 that looked AH-MAXING SO we will definitely be back for breakfast! I’m happy I finally made it out. Great vibes.

Had a nice breakfast here with my friend. I don't usually do reviews but the food and service was so good, I have to. I had the tres leches waffle and my friend had the peanut butter pancakes. I absolutely loved how fluffy the waffle turned out. Didn't need any syrup. My friend also loved their pancakes. Mike was the server who helped us and he was wonderful. Very friendly, good food, had a bar option, kitchen view, cool graffiti art, will come here again. I'd give a 4.5/5 if I could.

Me and three others walked in at 11:30am on a Sunday, and we were able to seat ourselves. I had ordered bottomless mimosas, biscuits and gravy. For my main meal, I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken with hash browns and two eggs over easy. The service was awful. We had parties that were seated after us & left before we had gotten all of our food or check. We had to keep flagging down our server to get drink refills, and at one point, we had to grab our own silverware, since we could not cut into our main courses. One of my friends food had gotten cold & he wasn't able to enjoy his food as much as he could have. Other staff had to step in due to a lack of attention from our server. My "bottomless" was only two glasses. I asked for a third, and the server determined that because it was too long of a wait, that I wouldn't want it. However, even though our one server was terrible, the food was fabulous! The portions were pretty large and good for the price. For the food that was brought out warm, we all enjoyed what we had, and there wasn't any leftovers. I would've given this place 5 stars, however, the service knocked my current review down significantly. I'm cautious to do a dine-in experience and may opt to do takeout in the future.

We really enjoyed our brunch here! I had the biscuits and gravy, sausage, and hashbrowns. All were excellent - the gravy was creamy, biscuits soft, and hashbrowns were crispy. My husband had the chicken fried steak and it was amazing! I can’t wait to try more things here. Blood Mary was good as well. Service was very friendly.

Service was nonexistent after order was taken, wrong eggs on plate chicken fried steak was jerky on all three orders oj was fake tang type. Over $100 for three chicken fried steak and 3 kids meals and the kids macaroni meal that they used velvita fake cheese on came out at different times. Flavor on everything was great so good ingredients just bad execution on everyone besides the ginger dude was cool he got me some water even though we were not his table.

The food looked phenomenal from other reviews but what we received was the downgraded version of what we saw. There were multiple items that did not match the menu. Caesar salad - forgot the chicken, added tomatoes, no cheese, thick bottled dressing..skip. They were out of fries on a Saturday. Mac and cheese was not rotini, chicken wasn’t served with sauces mentioned. Pancakes did not have whipped butter or preserves listed on menu. Server clearly was checked out and did not pretend to enjoy his job. Not sure what’s going on here.

Best brunch experience we've had in a while. We had horchata pancakes and biscuits and gravy. Had we not gotten full, we'd have licked the plates clean. The staff is amazing and the vibe too! We will go back!

Had an amazing time! Staff was great! Our ginger waiter was funny as hell! Can’t remember his name, but he was definitely an added bonus! The food is perfectly seasoned! I highly recommend!!! You’re welcome 😉

Barria fries were great. Our server was nice, but it did seem like service could have been a little better. We had 3 dishes with meat and all 3 meats were dry and overcooked. If the meat would've been cooked better the rest of the food would've been really good.

Yesterday I had went up to Jojo's for my first time, and tell you what, that was the best chicken fried steak with gravy I've had. Literally would've licked that plate clean if there was no one around lol. I recommend to anyone who loves good breakfast. And on top of all that, the staff were really hospitable. Treated my family real nice, I'll definitely be coming back!

My partner and I were on our way here on a whim for a date. Our original decision turned out to be closed and honestly I’ve never been so happy about a change of a plans. The food was incredible. I got the country fried steak (“Midwest’s Best”) and this comes with really high praise that it’s my new favorite. My partner got the “Brekkie Skillet” which is a pork belly and veggie skillet and I’ve never seen him demolish a whole dish with such gusto. The service was equally fantastic with a host who was such a joy to be around that it made me feel right at home. The whole place was so down to earth with such laid-back service, it’s the most comfortable I’ve felt eating out in a while. Couldn’t recommend JoJo’s Diner more. (Bonus points for the good taste in music playing)

I want to 1st say that I am a picky eater. With that said the food was excellent! I had the Bacon Smash burger :) Highly recommend!! I will be coming back to try some other dishes on the menu !! Homemade chipotle mayo was perfection on the turkey avocado melt! ! Thank you Jojo’s for a fantastic lunch!

I’ve been here twice and can’t wait to go back again, the food is superb and the service was excellent! Their Chicken Fried Chicken was amazing, the biscuits and gravy were so good and the biscuits were so soft and fluffy. We also shared the Nashville chicken and waffles, also excellent! It’s rare that everything is good, hot and wouldn’t change a thing!

First time at this diner and the food, atmosphere, and service were all amazing!! This place is a breakfast brunch sort of diner with a Mexican flare on their menu and they stay open until late. The flavors in their dishes are amazing and you can watch the chef make it if you sit at the breakfast bar. The chilaquiles were absolutely amazing and something I was definitely not expecting from this little diner in Benson. The Nashville hot chicken and waffles had light and crispy chicken with a delicious fluffy waffle and an awesome house hot sauce. They have a super cool retro themed restaurant with painted murals on the walls and they even have an old school jukebox with ALL the hits on it. This diner is absolutely fantastic all around.

This was my first time. The menu is awesome. I tried the Nashville hot Chicken and waffles. The best I've ever had. Special touch with peach marmalade drizzle! Chicken not too spicy.
