If you have never been to Dante yet then this should be your next dinner spot. This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Omaha hands down. The bolognese, which is the true test for an Italian - is incredible. Every pizza I have tried so far is unique and so incredible. My favorite is the spicy one. If you like oil and bread, order quick bread and use the orange pepper oil and the olive oil they give you to dip the bread. I like to add a sprinkle of Parmesan to the plate as well to give it even more flavor. Order this when you order your appetizers and enjoy together. My husband ordered the zucchini chips which was not my choice because it would rather try something more exciting but he loved them. I cannot stress this enough but every time I have been the staff has been exceptional. They are so friendly and personable with great recommendations for what to order. If you leave without trying dessert you have truly missed out. Try the butterscotch budino 🤤 the gelato is also just incredible. You really can’t go wrong here!

Stopped into Dante today for a late lunch/early dinner. Pretty much the between time. We had the place to ourselves which was nice. Meatballs 4.5 stars Tagliatelle pork sugo 5 stars Truffle pasta 5 stars Lunch special 4 stars. I will say their sauces are excellent. It definitely fits my preference for flavor profile. You could smell how aromatic the truffles were as he was bringing them out before he even shaved them. Would recommend this dish when it's available. Personally I'm not as much of a meatball person, but my chef friend thought the flavouring was done very well. Again the sauce hit the right notes for me. The salad today wasn't as bright as I remembered it from past visits. The flatbread was very good, but the diavolo wouldn't be my first choice. I let the server and my friend choose. I probably should have ordered a different one, I've had other ones which I know I prefer but I forgot to note them. There was an issue though where the bottom of the flat bread was soggy from oil or liquid of some sort. It was minor though so we did not bring it up at the time. That's why it gets a 4 instead of a 5 today. The boudino we did for dessert. This is a bit too sweet for me but perfect for those with a sweet tooth. I often order it for my friends who I know love their sweets. They devour it up. Service was very attentive today. We were the only table there for awhile but as 4pm hit you could see them gearing up for dinner as more diners started wandering in. It was a nice relaxing experience.

Everything we ordered was delicious! From the zucchini chips to that bison tomahawk. The service throughout the entire visit was above and beyond what we've all experienced in recent times. Special thanks to the wine sommelier/GM Adam Weber. The wine class/tasting prior to dinner was excellent and the wines selected for dinner just added to the experience. I would definitely recommend and return.

I want to first and most importantly say- this place is unlike any other dining experience I’ve ever had. I was on vacation and ended up eating here twice in the same day because I had such an amazing experience. The lunch menu is amazing and so unique, the staff is personable and will accommodate you with menu questions and suggestions, and the ambiance is beautiful and comfortable both day and night. I was so happy with my lunch experience with our server, Abraham, that I had to come back for dinner. Abraham personally booked us a special menu selection for dinner after a discussion about their dinner menu and how I loved my time here. At dinner, I was just as surprised and amazed. I am not exaggerating when I say this: I can confidently say the best steak I have ever had was here. Another fact I really enjoy about DANTE is everything is farm to table. My beautiful steak grew up about 100 mi away and never left Nebraska. Everything is made by the staff, which I love. I find it amazing that the head chef and the staff work so diligently to present inventive and astronomical quality food with all local produce and product, even the strawberries on the cheesecake are local. They spare no expense on providing their patrons the best and freshest produce Nebraska has to offer. Another of my favorite things you need to try- it’s simple but their lemonade is made by hand, and it again, will probably be the best lemonade you’ll ever have. I, a month and some change later, am still daydreaming about my time spent with the amazing people that make up the staff of DANTE. I implore you to take friends, family, and colleagues here for an experience you’ll never forget. The only regrets I have here is not being able to have the ravioli in full (I got a sample and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD, you have to try it) and not being able to get the course meal (I left before it became available and legitimately thought about coming back just for it). I felt like I got absolutely spoiled by everyone that served us that day and I witnessed them treat everyone else just as indulgently. When you come to DANTE they will do anything within their ability to create an unforgettable experience unique to you and your party. I love the energy and values this place holds. Please give it a chance and make it your favorite. You will find a second home here.

Dante is one of our favorite pasta places in West Omaha. Upscale atmosphere with a menu that changes daily. The pasta is handmade. Last night we got squid ink taglierini pasta in a chili sauce with crab meat and tagliatelle Sunday Ragu in a wine sauce. Fantastic. The creme brulee and Pumpkin Cheesecake were excellent.

I just LOVE Dante. Everything from their food, to the drinks, atmosphere, & their employees. For an appetizer we got the focaccia & burrata...INCREDIBLE! We split pizza & pasta for our mains. Margarita pizza with extra sauce, and their Dante Bolognese....WOW. The flavors of everything is like a party in your mouth! I brought my husband home their Diavolo pizza. Our waiter informed me that they could half bake it - then finish it at home! SUCH A GAME CHANGER! I also love how Dante gives back through TAGG.today! After dinner I uploaded my receipt & Dante donated 5% of my purchase to my Niece's dance!🥰 Thank you Dante!!

Stopped in to celebrate anniversary dinner. Ordered the meatballs appetizer, funghi Bianco pizza entree, and wood fired Brussels sprouts side, and gelato flight for dessert. All were quite delicious, though the Brussels sprouts were a touch under salted for my taste, unless you got a bite with the bacon pieces. The wine selection was broad. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and informative. It was a touch loud given the open atmosphere, so if you're looking for a more intimate place, maybe go when it's less crowded. Definitely recommend!

Four stars for good food, nice atmosphere, and great service. All of the dishes were good, but missing some flavor depth on the chicken and gnocchi dish (this dish was pretty bland), as well as the ricotta gnocchi (also bland and a little dry). The brussels were perfect. The pork belly app was nice.

Amazing food and great service. We stopped in for an early Friday dinner and were immediately seated on the patio. We started with the House Ricotta & Honey Comb. It was fantastic. The ricotta was light and fluffy with a hint of lemon. It was a great flavor combination with the accompanying tigelle bread, local honey comb and bacon jam. For dinner I ordered the house made Squid ink Taglierini. It was tossed in a calabrian chili sauce with bottarga and jonah crab. The flavor was excellent- very fresh and unique. My husband had the Rigatoni Bolognese with added burrata and it was delicious as well. Everything about our meal was excellent. We’ll definitely be back soon!

If you like pizza with no toppings and no sauce and no cheese this is the place for you! Had a wedding catered by then (cooks were awesome and answered all me and kid’s questions). But the only good part was the dough. There was not enough sauce or cheese to even rate it. If you like a cracker with a small amount of cheese or meat on it then this place is for you!

What a lovely dining experience 🥂 Visiting dear friends in Elkhorn and they suggested to have dinner in Dante. The food and wine were wonderful and the service was outstanding despite the staff shortage.

Went to Dante on a Thursday night and the place was packed. They were already sold out of one of their half priced bottles of wine. The food was all very good. Had the ricotta with honey to start. The Giuseppe pizza had a great crust. Also ordered a carbonara and a smoked bison pasta. The pasta was perfectly Al dente but would have preferred a little more sauce on the carbonara. Overall service was good but not exceptional.

Honestly, I would have liked to give more stars, but it was a horrible experience. We went as a group and had reservations but were definitely an afterthought. They sat us right at the top of the stairs, so anytime someone passed by for the two and a half hours, they bumped into my husband's chair. Since we had more than ten people they started at the other end of the table and by the time they got to our end they were out of everything and we had to wait on our end several times for basic things, like water. We asked for a pitcher to be left at our end three times before they did, and we were out of that within minutes and refilled. To charge $4 for a can of soda is ridiculous if you are not going to bring us water for the whole table. Now, the food. The Meatballs & Polenta was great... I'm just surprised that only three come for $16. The Diavolo was great with the extra mozzarella but very hot. We love spicy and had to take some peppers off, but we would order again. Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe was the worst pasta I had ever tasted. It was beyond bland and was on the table when we left it was that bad. However, nothing compared me for the "Strawberry Cheesecake." It not only looked like a blob of bolgonie, but it tasted worse. Waitress didn't even ask about why we didn't eat anything. Passed the 'cheesecake' around, and not even 1/4 of it was ate because no one enjoyed it. Several other issues with our party, like waitress not putting in orders and them running out of good deserts or even checking in on us. It is just all around a memorable experience for the wrong reasons.

Incredible pizza, salad and drinks.Outstanding service by Marcus. Adam the mgr is on top of every single detail. Had an event here and it was a dream come true. We have dined here for years and it is always consistent with the highest quality ingredients that shows in the product. I am a pain in the neck diner and every time I ask for something the response is “ consider it done”. Nick is a lucky guy to have Adam at the helm and Marcus as a server!!!!!

First time going to DANTE. It was very nice for there to be a "first come, first serve" area where the people like me, would never know to call ahead and reserve spots. I feel this type of place gets the repeat customers, but not necessarily all the best customers, as it felt "classy-older". The food was great, however, expensive. Easily a $100 evening for 2 hungry adults if you get an appetizer and pizza.

Visiting from out of town. We got a to go order for dinner. We get our order and go back to our hotel. Pizza was okay so we moved on to the Cacio e Pepe. The portion size was small, and there was almost no pepper and absolutely no Parmigiano Reggiano . Basically bland butter noodles. I’ve made better cacio e pepe at home, not worth the $80 our order was. I do not recommend this place, they have the right idea, very poor execution. 1 star was for the standard margherita pizza.

Some good points: Quality of service is amazing. The bartenders are amazing. Incredible ingredients and selection. Bad points: Our last dinner took over 2.5 hours. The quality of pizza, pastas and appetizers have definitely gone downhill. If you're looking for the best carbonara in town or an excellent negroni this the place to go. If you're on a bit of a time crunch for a weekday dinner, you want some appetizers, or a quiet atmosphere there are better options.

Was here with a group of friends, had heard good things but tonight was not the night. We ordered shortly after we sat down and it then took us an hour to get our food. I guess I get the point of pacing if some have ordered apps and other have not...but at 830pm why would half the table want to sit and wait for an hour while the other half eats. Sadly, the Rigatoni Bolognese wasn't worth the wait. The rigatoni itself was very very al dente, the ragu had no real depth of flavor, was very thin in its body, zero salt, and a pretty pronounced flavor of what I would swear was white wine. The budino was really good, but pudding isn't enough to get the job done. Lots of people love it here, so maybe it was an off night, or maybe it's just me.

Good pizza crust. Nice cook on the bottom, but generally lacking in flavor and ingredients weren’t my preference. Wasn’t served hot.

Didn’t get to try this place which is sad because my girlfriend and I have been wanting to try it for a while. We walked in and overheard them tell the couple in front of us that it would be about 20 minutes but when we asked we were told they were fully booked for the night I can only suspect it’s because we had our one year old with us. It’s unfortunate because now you’ve lost two maybe repeat customers but now I will never want to try what could have been a regular date night for us.
