Fresh and delicious food in an upbeat atmosphere with friendly service. I stopped near the end of the lunch hour and got takeout and there was a line but things moved quickly. The fries are great with some unique but tasty toppings and twists. The sandwich was flavorful and a good size and value for the price. There isn't a ton of space so be willing to wait for a table or get takeout. A great place for lunch with friends.

What a cool restaurant. Farm fresh food delivered daily. My sockeye salmon salad was so tasty with a ton of fresh veggies. The fried chicken thighs were by far my favorite! I had 2 traditional and 2 Nashville hot. The Nashville flavors and fry were so good. I would fly back to Omaha just for the Nashville hot fried chicken!

We were looking for a place for lunch and Block 16 hit the spot! We ordered the poutine fries, Brooke’s chickenwich, and pulled pork roll. It was so delicious for a very affordable price! Fun atmosphere, friendly staff, and clean facilities.

This place is as advertised!! Holy cow what a meal. Wife had the Block Burger and I had the Croque Gracon burger. We split order of regular fries and the poutine. So amazing and used ALL the napkins they gave us which were a lot. Just all around great food!!

Such great food! We split the bacon & brielt and then each got an order of crab rangoon fries. Would highly recommend both of these options. It’s a smallish restaurant, we did have a little bit of a wait to order, but the food came out in a timely manner. They do have a couple outdoor tables available for nicer days. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean.

Finally got a chance to revisit Block 16 after being away from the area for a few years. Glad to see that business is doing better than ever and they have expanded to shop next door. Definitely helps with having more seating available. Block 16 may seem like a typical burger and fries kind of place, but their burgers and fries are literally of the next level. Our favorite burger is the Croque Garcon; when an egg gets added on any burger, you know you’re going to have a good time. All the “fun fries” are really delicious. Duck Duck Goose and Poutine are Block 16’s classic. Had a chance to try their newest addition, the Funky Fungi Fries. Aside from the alliteration, the dish is amazing for those that love truffle fries.

The food here is always fabulous! Take out orders are always ready quickly and accurately as well. Lovely outdoor seating. My favorite is the Crab Rangoon fries. They always have a generous portion of goods so every fry gets covered.

Stop in for Lunch on Friday! It was awesome to see the restaurant busy! It was worth the wait 100%! The Renegade Chicken Sandwich had the right amount of kick without being overly spicy! The atmosphere is good, with even better service. Each time I come in the food is excellent and staff is friendly! Better follow their Facebook to see the Special!

As many have stated, we came under high recommendation. Although now that we look back it wasn't recommended by the healthiest people on the planet, and for good reason. I have never had so much grease on my fingers from a sandwich... and it was a simple BLT, with salmon! My husband got the Alton Brown recommendation, and it was ok- definitely not the best burger in the country. Definitely not worth the price, but all prices are up so that's not really their fault. They were super friendly. There is no kids' menu, so if you have small children and you don't want to give them diabetes, bring a separate meal for them. Or just go somewhere else.

My husband took me here for a date night dinner. I've read a lot of comments from others and their menu options. There is a wide variety of good food on their menu that I wanted to try out. The food was delicious and the price is pretty decent for its quality. Would definitely come back another time.

On the plate — the 24 hour brisket in a puff pastry, mashed potatoes with red wine gravy (today's special). In the baskets — the 3-Happiness burger sans bun and the duck-duck-goose fries. Both were excellent. I love the food choices here.

Came for dinner on a Saturday night and despite the line to order, we got through quickly and food came out quick as well. Between the two of us we ordered the 3 happiness burger, bacon and brie sandwich, and dragon fries. I would definitely order them all again and come back next time we are in town!

Went for lunch on a Friday. The wait time to order was decent for how busy it was (about 10 minutes). Food took about 15 - 20 minutes after ordering, which was less than the 25 minutes quoted, so that was a plus! The block burger was good. It was juicy but could have had a bit more seasoning for my taste. Fries were good, the side of garlic aioli was very good! The 3 happiness burger was decent. The birria fries stole the show... lots of flavor, brisket was tender and juicy, and it had a nice kick with the spicy aioli!

Great Place to grab lunch downtown, and a favorite for Omaha locals. Plenty of great sandwiches and amazing fries on the menu. But make sure that when you go, you have some time to burn because there is usually a pretty long line to order.

We got the Belgian smash burger and duck duck goose fries. The burger was just ok - the meat was pretty flavorless, and the jam on it was overkill. The fries had a great sauce! The service was friendly - at closing, they were even helping an unhoused person find the right bus.

Block 16 is known for their specials. Unfortunately when we arrived around 6pm the wing special was sold out, leaving just a grilled cheese special. We tried the Rangoon Fries (5/5), Poutine Burrito (4/5) and pulled pork sandwich (3/5). The fries were delicious with plenty of sauce and toppings, the burrito was large and flavorful, but the pulled pork sandwich was super plain. We ate 4 bites of the pork sandwich and boxed the rest up to take home and fix up. It desperately needs BBQ sauce.

The food is awesomely unique! I don't like the one room open atmosphere where we all sit, though. We had to share tables with people we didn't know, it was small and with a lot of people in a high ceiling room, it makes it difficult to have conversations.

There's a reason Alton Brown has said this is the best restaurant in Omaha. It's the best one I've tried yet, and I regret I didn't try it sooner. I tried the 3 Happiness Burger, the Dragon Fries, and the Block Burger. All three options were beyond expectations. The 3 Happiness Burger had better Americanized Asian flavors than 3 Happiness Express, and that says a lot about both places! I was worried the cream cheese would be too much, but they found a way to keep it from overpowering the entire burger. The Block Burger was more traditional in its contents, but don't let that fool ya. It didn't hold back on flavor. I can't express enough how exciting it is to find a place in Omaha that can do a traditional burger correctly. The Dragon Fries were amazing. Spicy sauce, cheese, fries, and a touch of freshness from some green onion on top. What's not to like? The service was great and fast. You place your order at the counter, they give you a number to place on your table, and they bring the food to you. Also, they answered the couple questions I had with more detail than I was expecting despite being pretty busy. It really seemed like they wanted me to make sure I got items that would pair well together. The menu has things for pretty much anyone, but it isn't a massive menu. The layout makes it easy to make a snap decision on what you want. I'd recommend this place for anyone not watching their waistline looking for the best burgers and fries in Omaha.

Best chicken sandwich I have ever had. The Brooke Chickenwich. It was perfectly fine seasoned, which is hard to find. The duck fries are unique as well, and as good as advertised. In fact, their whole menu looks excellent. My only advice is to know you order in a line environment, then grab a seat. It's popular so expect to wait a bit in line. We'll worth it, however. Cheers from AZ!

This is my wife and my first time at Block 16 since we have moved to Omaha. We are definitely impressed with the menu and the flavor combinations this restaurant has created! I ordered the Brooke’s Chickwich, my wife ordered the Bacon and Brie, and we shared an order of Dirty Fries! Definitely not disappointed and neither will you!

Walk in, order, seat yourself.. very easy.. Decent amount of seating, and we really like the layout... This is farm to table food, the owner of this establishment, also owns the farm that supplies the food... We ordered Omaha fries....5/5 Absolutely amazing, both of enjoyed them, perfect amount of crisp with chew. generous toppings, we both would highly recommend these.. Poutine burrito.....5/5 shaved steak, what else is there, well, a lot... and it all comes together perfectly. I was seriously surprised by the way all the ingredients came together and without overpowering one another... Patty melt...5/5 Had one, had em all. Not exactly... We've had many over the years with varying degrees approval, this was delicious... I can almost always find something to complain about (as my followers know.lol) not this time... We highly recommend, and will be returning... I will be uploading short vids with details for y'all...

Worlds best hamburgers w/free refills on drinks. You order your food from a nontraditional and slightly different menu options as soon as you walk in. You are given an order number, and you then find a seat from a pretty small seating area. In a very short period of time (I felt), your food is delivered to your table. As good as the food is the seating is somewhat tight! I'll be going back!

My favorite sandwich shop on the planet. Everything is incredible and will be one of the best you’ve had in your life. Three happiness burger is my go to. But pulled pork is great. Duck duck goose fries. I go here every single time I’m in Omaha.

Came during a busy lunch but the rush was handled well. Delicious sandwiches, great pickles and fries. Cost is fair for the quality of food. Lots of seating available inside, a few tables outside.

This place is pretty special. The food is high quality at a reasonable price. The flavors were amazing. The lady who took our order was super awesome and friendly! I would definitely recommend trying out block 16.
