Went for a birthday recently. Everyone enjoyed their food. The only issues we had were the desserts.. When my friends brought up the issue to the server, they took it off their bills. The food wasn't that memorable for me, I had a few bites and packed most of it home for my family. My order was the steak and something enchiladas.... I remember enjoying it, but it wasn't something i felt like I wanted to devour. Parking is available in a large lot.

This is one of my favorite Mexican food places and also they have great all around food. I will say that the steak on the balsamic steak salad is a little on the tough side, but still good. They have some of the best margaritas around for only 4 bucks!

I arrived for the last few minutes for happy hour. I got a couple great old fashioneds and the green chili chicken burrito. It was so tasty and packed with chicken I wanted to finish it but couldn't. The bacon wrapped jalapenos were also wonderfully smokey. A great way to start off a great night!

Upscale Western bar and restaurant. A variety of craft beer available. Wifi. Helpful wait staff. Clean restrooms. Interesting themed decor. Every meal I had was thoroughly enjoyable. Plenty of parking.

I had the shrimp tacos. Pretty good the rice was very good and the cowboy beans were better than a lot of refried beans which you would normally get at other locations. The margarita was pretty good as well. The steak skewers appetizer was disappointing. Dry and not much flavor, good thing there was some dipping sauce. The flourless cake for dessert was also very good. The place was pretty noisy though and was only about half full.

It's a nice atmosphere, and servers are nice. However the food was at most ok. I got the chicken tortilla soup, and it came out, and all it was comprised of was water, onion, cilantro, chicken and soft tortillas.....such an odd "soup", I verified with the waitress I got the right soup, and she said, "yeah we do everything with a twist," it was basically onion broth, i thought I was being punked, but Ashton Kutcher never showed up. The cheese dip was good, so I ate that as my entree instead of the broth I ordered.

This *WAS* one of my husband's favorite places to eat. We went to the West Omaha location today. Our last visit was not great but we wanted to try again. We were seated quickly. The server was ok but I really felt like we were more of a bother to her. Due to allergies issues I asked for a gluten free menu which the server was very willing to get and checked a couple items for ingredients which is necessary but much appreciated. We ordered some cocktails during the happy hour time frame. I really wanted the siracha bacon in the bloody Mary cocktail but apparently the bar was unwilling to provide that which was unfortunate. We had to ask for the upcharge to be removed from our bill as it was still on there. My husband's favorite dish (which he raves over) is the Sharon enchiladas so we both got them, I just had mine made with corn tortillas. Honestly, I was very unimpressed. The chicken was not even seasoned, it even needed salt, it was a bit dry and no sauce inside. My husband didn't think it was done right. I can bake tender chicken shred it, wrap it in a tortilla and top with pepperjack. I promise I can do far better at home because I would ensure the flavor and sauce was on point. What's the point in eating out if it doesn't wow me. I'm a good cook; this was bland and lazy, surely they use to have better quality in the past for my husband to have raved previously. We definately got the impression that we and the other 2 tables were intruding on the loud abnoxious party the employees seemed to be having at the bar. We didn't feel like guests, we felt like intruders to a private employee party. They were so loud and it was like we were a burden or an annoyance to them. I guess they "loudly" care more about woke gender politics than guests. Additionally, when someone has an allergy to something and therefore can not have a certain side, the restaurant should give more than 1 option and not be unwilling to accommodate. In this case the only option I was allowed was beans. Do better please. Side note: this is the second time we have had bad service here. Hopefully the downtown location cares about their patrons or you may not have many soon. P.S. If a manager comes on and dismisses things like I've seen done to other guest's reviews, then don't be surprised when you no longer have a business. Take the feedback seriously, better yet, let's get Gordon Ramsey's opinion!!!

I enjoyed a good meal. I had the Sharon's enchiladas were spicy and delicious. I'm reading the other reviews and have to ask, was anyone else put off by the super high menu prices? I took two stars off the food quality, while it was good, it was no where near worth the prices they are charging.

The first time I came here the food was subpar, they did redeem themselves. The dish I posted the photo of was really good. I'm glad I went back.

I think I would give it four stars if it wasn't so overpriced. Food is just okay, but not something I would have to go back for. Server was very prompt and attentive to our needs.

One of our favorite places in Omaha. ❤️ the pineapple margaritas. We did a date night and had a great time. We had an issue with watery queso but they did take care of it on the bill.

First time going to Stokes tonight the food was pretty good the margaritas were very good but our waitress was the best! they were very busy but Sara was on top of everything. recommended some things for us to eat and drink and she was just so nice and helpful. there was also another employee that came to our table to pick up some dishes i feel bad but don’t remember her name she also was very nice and helpful, she was telling us that the restaurant on 120th and blondo Goose 120 was a sister restaurant of stokes! we’ll definitely have to try that restaurant too !

Both of our orders were out in a very reasonable time frame. They were favorable from the first bite to the last. Excellent margaritas and dessert 🍨 Will return soon to see if it was a fluke 🤫

I had the chicken tortilla soup and the chili shrimp. The soup was broth and a lot of cilantro and chicken. Just the way I like it. The chili oil that comes with the shrimp was very exceptional. Definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful experience at Stokes tonight thanks to Sara! We were a big party and ended up adding 2 extra people and she adapted to our needs with a smile and a great attitude. We also needed separate checks which isn’t ever easy for a server but Sara handled it with ease! She was always making sure we had everything we needed, which again isn’t easy for a server with multiple tables on a Friday night, but she was such a pro. The food was delicious and Sara even packed our to-go boxes. Really an ideal dining experience from a food and service perspective!

Visited Stokes for the first time today. Service was excellent and food was very good. I can definitely recommend the Aztec Nachos unless you're not a fan of spicy food. The Tacos Carbon had a great flavor to it and the green sauce provided was amazing. I think the food is a little pricey for what you get but considering the excellent service and taste I would definitely go back.

Wow so great! I was promptly greeted with a smile and shown to my table where I was immediately served my libation of choice! The food was delicious and hot! The building was clean and tastefully decorated! Anybody coming here can rest easy knowing Gavin will take good care of you.

Met here with office for farewell during happy hour. Enjoyed the screened room, except when lawn service was noisy outside the window. At least they were quick. Service was quick and accommodating for our group. Good nacho appetizer!

Had good service and the food was delicious. Thanks to Chef Pat for checking in on us personally. Had a great vibe and family atmosphere 😁 Definitely recommend going here for date night or family dinner.

My favorite place to eat! Pazole Roja soup is one of my favorites! Also the Aztec Nachos!! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, it's all delicious 😁. Go at least 2-3 times a month!!

My best friend and I were so excited to have a morning away together for Brunch at Stokes. I would give a 1 star based on the food, but our waiter was kind and the Bloody Mary were good! I ordered Nachos ($13) and added chicken for an up charge. My chicken was cubed chicken that was cold and tasteless. The rest of the nachos were just cheese and very little pico. Definitely not $13 nachos. My friend ordered a breakfast sandwich that was supposed to come on jalapeño bread, but came out on regular bread. The sand which had zero flavor. She had to use lots of salt and pepper. Her bacon was also overly burnt (not just normal crispy, but burnt). Incredibly disappointed for my first time here,

Service was what you'd expect at an ordinary restaurant. Prices have increased. Food portions have decreased noticeably. Enchiladas were barely warm and about a third smaller than before. Not at all impressed. I've been a patron of this location for many years and I'm now considering this may be my last visit. So disappointing.

Wow! Awesome happy hour drink deal. Also had a steak and mushroom enchilada. So good! Full of tender brisket.

My group "The Wine Moms" was celebrating a birthday. Upon arrival one of our group members was treated rudely by the manager as to where our party could sit. I ordered a red blend bottle of wine which was served warm. I asked for a chiller that was never delivered. Since it was happy hour until six, some in our group wanted to order more than one drink at a time. They were denied and told you must finish what you have before ordering another. We had to ask for our separate checks. I was overcharged $8 for my bottle of wine on my initial bill. This was corrected. Service and management need a major improvement; however, the food was good. I won't be going back. 😕

Don’t expect a booth during peak times unless you make a reservation. Host claims all booths are reserved for reservations only. Services is as expected. Nothing extraordinary but nothing below par either. We ordered cocktails and apps only. Margaritas are amazing. If you like sweet I recommend the strawberry margarita but the traditional was good too.
