Let me start off by saying this place is really not that bad, if they had more people working there and updated a few things it would be great! My family of 6 had a 2 bedroom suite and for some reason the bathroom in the king size room kept locking as we closed the door. We made multiple attempts to call the front desk to ask for assistance with no answer. We ended up going downstairs to ask for help and found that the front desk was helping the other guests at the hotel. I believe it was around 11 when we got a screwdriver from someone to pop the door open, it happened a couple more times after that, with again, no answer at the front desk. The beds are old, loud, creaky and hard as a rock. For some reason the TV's were all super finicky. The walls in the bathrooms had yellow stains all over them and the bathtub in the 2nd bedroom was dirty with what looked to be dirty foot prints from the previous person staying there. My kids were super excited for breakfast, but super disappointed with the selection. You get an egg folded over with cheese in the middle, sausage and some steamed potatoes. 3 choices of cereal, yogurt and some juices. The waffle iron looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years and there was frozen solid bagels in with the English muffins. Overall it's a safe place to stay and the staff was very friendly and efficient with what they could be. The owner of this establishment just needs to hire more people and update some things and it would probably take off considering it's the only place with multiple bedrooms near the zoo.

How this hotel gets such strong reviews is beyond me. I have stayed at multiple staybridge hotels and this one is by far the worst. Where do I start? First, the beds are incredibly uncomfortable. They are more firm than cement and i had no idea that was possible. Second, we were notified that you won’t be getting housekeeping. We had a 5 day stay and every day i took out my trash ect. Fortunately, i came prepared with my own trash bags and i went to target and bought Lysol wipes. Third, they don’t have any extra towels or blankets. I have no idea if it’s a supply chain shortage, a staffing shortage, or a combination of both but seriously, someone needs to run to target and get some. Families were told they couldn’t check in (it was well after 4) because they didn’t have enough towels washed yet. Fortunately they have free laundry and we washed our own. Fourth, the breakfast lady was incredibly friendly but unable to keep up with keeping the food stocked so we just paid out of pocket and went to jimmys egg. Fifth, there were never any pool towels. I will say that overall the staff was friendly, the room met our basic needs, and that the hotel is centrally located. However there are many, many nicer hotels in the area for the same price. We stayed here because it offers the two bedroom suites which best suit my family but next time I’ll just book two rooms elsewhere.

Well we showed up and were told the pool was closed, which we had planned on using. Then was told our room was changed from a two bedroom suite to two different rooms. When I argued that is not what booked, I was told not there problem as Expedia overbooked the hotel. I asked for a manager and was told not available, but could see him sitting in his office. At that point he came and changed our room to what we booked. Got to the room and the fridge quit working and AC was not working. Tried talking to desk and was told maintenance was not present and nothing could be down. I was told I could use the fridge in the basement, but out room was ob 4th floor. Unacceptable. I was told to call the GM who told me to take with the front desk, nothing was done. Used coolers for the night to keep things cold. Next day allowed maintenance to check the fridge and AC. Come back from our travels during the day to have the thermostat temp changed from 68 where we had it set to 80 degrees. Went to the front desk who advised they would pass on the info, but not much can be done. They also informed me the guest had same issues. The next morning I checked and dealt with the assistant manager who was the best to deal with. She understood my concerns and unacceptable, was willing to work with me. She advised Scott the GM had text her to deal with it and gave no information. Assistant manager was great to work with, but the GM who I had to deal with the entire stay till check could care less and just passed the buck to someone else to deal with. Problem was nobody available to deal with it till check out

My family (3 young children, my husband and I, dog) had been on the road for 13 hours, after driving through tornado warnings and hail storms. It was a long day. Finally hauled my crew into the hotel at 10:30pm and straight back out. There was a cockroach on the wall and bed bugs on the mattresses. Before we even made it to our rooms, my 8yo son said the hotel smelled bad (it did smell musty). When I requested a refund, the young woman at the front desk did not know how to refund our stay and seemed pretty unprofessional-using her personal cell phone to call someone (she said it was the daughter of someone who knew how to help but I didn’t appreciate the giggling “okay, call you after!” Etc when I was exhausted and just trying to find a place for my children to sleep). I left hoping I could get a refund…I still see charges on our account 2 days later despite calling the manager line 3 times. I’ve yet to receive an email receipt either, despite correcting their email they had listed for me. It made an already rough day even worse. Unacceptable and very disappointed.

Booked a normal suite but when we got there we were given a studio suite because the other rooms were full. Was still charged the price of the normal suite because the desk told us there was nothing they could do about the rates. The door to the bathroom in the suite was so warped it could not close. The bed was very saggy and the pillows were some of the worst I've ever slept on. Breakfast isn't served until 7:30, which seems very late to start - if I was on a business trip there's no way I could wait around for that. We made the mistake of waiting around for the late breakfast and paid for it in the bathroom the rest of the day. I've been to many Staybridge locations and this is the worst one I've ever been to. Maybe the other one in Omaha is better

I spent a night here in a Queen suite with my toddler. Pros: The rooms are spacious and the in-room kitchen was great. All staff were kind and the complimentary breakfast was good. There's a pool and a home theater room that were basic but nice to be able to use. I really liked their little free library in the lobby. Cons: It's not for the germaphobes - nearly everything was stained, from carpets to couches to shower curtains. The pool, while nice, wasn't crystal clear either. Rooms have all the basics but were missing touches like a fan/sound machine and hair dryer. My biggest complaint is that I bought 5 items from the convenience shop in the lobby, but didn't notice until much later that my room had been charged for 7 items. It's a cozy place for those who need simple, no-fuss accommodations.

We had suite 307. 4 adults and two children ages 2 and 6. Very comfortable with 1 king and full bath one one side of a common space and another bedroom with 2 queen beds and a full bath on the other side. Mini kitchen let us fix a quick dinner with a grocery just 2 easy stop lights away from the hotel. Breakfast was the best! Hot foods, clean area, friendly and attentive staff. Nice indoor pool. Several amenities that we did not take part in. Looking forward to visiting again.

I want to give at least two stars instead of one, for all the assistance I had to receive from the staff, which were great. The rooms however were not so much. The lighting repeatedly went out at random times in the evening, prompting call after call to the front desk to reset the breaker. Not fun when showering/shaving/or everything else.. Old design, things were falling off the walls, and the bed wasn’t comfortable, despite calling them suites, it was certainly not, sweet. Checked out two days early and moved to a Hilton for the same price.

I was very pleased with this place. The suite was perfect size for my family of 6 (mom and dad took room with the king bed, 3 boys shared the room with the 2 queen beds, and my daughter slept on the pull out couch in the living room). The rooms were clean and well kept up. The pool was average hotel size, but was nice. The workout facility was better than most hotels I've been to as the equipment was newer. Most of the suites we looked at did not offer breakfast. This one has a delicious breakfast with several options, and the young lady working at the breakfast area was awesome! She kept everything well stocked, and all tables and counters were wiped down and clean. She was working so hard the entire time we were down there. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.

A very dated Staybridge Suites, beds are lumpy and quite uncomfortable. Can’t speak for the dinner service, but the breakfast offerings were inconsistent in quality. Staff were helpful and courteous. Found a cockroach under the kitchen sink, and x2 under the bathroom sink in the cabinet. Along with one on the first floor just past the front counter. Won’t be staying here for a long while unless I see a renovation done. You would be better off staying at a Candlewood Suites and getting more consistent breakfast offerings if you catch my drift. At least you know what you’re getting with a Candlewood, this Staybridge does not live up to the IHG brand imo.

Their Front desk employee that goes by the name of Lisa called us and gave a bunch of wrong info. Pretty sure she is working remotely. As soon as she found out that she dialed a wrong number, she hang up the phone. We called her to re-connect but she gave a lousy alibi saying she is just using a mobile phone. How can a front desk staff use just a mobile phone for business calls? When we demanded for the manager, she said "She is the manager." We have the call recording here as a proof of her lies and her poor representation of the company named Saphire Properties, managing Staybridge Suites.

The overall experience was ok and I felt safe. The check-in process was a little rough but the employee working the front was friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The hallways were filled with laundry for over 24 hours and that was concerning. The did provide some sort of dinner service and that was very welcomed.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff at check in were very friendly and helpful. We stayed during the college World Series and there were fans from several teams staying at this hotel. Everyone, staff and guests, were so friendly. The breakfast was very good. Something for everyone. The room and beds were very nice. This last week, my husband received his cc bill and there was an error that had been made by the hotel. Scott, the manager, called me back very promptly to get it taken care of. We had already discussed going back next year and how we really liked this hotel well enough to stay there again. Thanks to Scott and how quickly he followed up dealing with the error, we definitely will stay there anytime we are in Omaha. Great customer service in every way!! Something you don’t get everywhere these days!

We were here for our sons baseball tournament in June. While the hotel was nice, we did run into a few issues. I spoke with the hotel administration about this matter and while they claim they issued us a small refund it never happened. We had {ZERO} room service. I had to continue to ask for room essentials daily, nobody came in and cleaned the room, emptied garbages and gave us new bags, no towels, no clean linens… NOTHING!!! For 6 days, that’s a long time to continue to be the one who asks for everything especially with the outrageous rates we paid. Then to have had miserable migraines for days upon days, with a stench in the room that would come and go (when I started looking more into it, that’s an infestation of roaches) again, I let the hotel know this, and they could give two craps! When you say you’ll over a slight refund, the appropriate thing to do would be to honor it. But, they don’t. Beware when you stay here!

What a spectacular place. This hotel goes above and beyond for their guests. The have lovely breakfast, and even do food events on certain nights. (Taco Bar to Sundae Bar) all amenities one needs and more. Nice clean rooms, and great service.

Everything was wonderful! Staff were great, inviting and a joy to interact with! The evening meals were such a nice addition. Clean big rooms. Comfy beds and pillows. Pool and fitness center! Will stay here again if we are in Omaha!

AWFUL… I am traveling across country and just stayed at another Staybridge Suites the night before and it was outstanding. So I thought I would try this one. DON’T DO IT…. This place is old, dirty & needs repair. As I drove up to this hotel the area looks sketchy. The actual entrance has torn up sidewalks & crumbling & broken cement entrance. If you have a wheel chair - Forget it…. Beds actually crunch when you lay down, sofas was torn & dirty, chairs have holes in them. The sheets have holes, carpet dirty, walls dirty, kitchen has no utensils,. There were no towels or extra blankets. (I had to go to front desk & ask for them) Furniture is from the 70’s & needs replacing, carpet torn & frayed, bad lighting-old bulbs, no hair dryer, no cover on Kleenex box, IHG has changed from personal toiletries to a (one for all system). I guess some might think this is fine, but what if someone is evil & puts another dangerous product into those open bottles? In my room, those bottles were not locked up!!!! Breakfast was not only late if was terrible. Eggs hard, sausages were greasy, lacking many of the normal breakfast items. Very Disappointing. Travelers Beware!!!

Honestly, the hotel itself seemed decent but was a family of 5 we booked a one bedroom suite so that we would have two beds and a pull out sofa. On our first night there, after getting my two youngest children situated in the bedroom we pulled out the sofa and were absolutely horrified at the state of the pullout sofa mattress. I have honestly never seen anything like it, it was yellowed, torn, and tattered and had a weird, holey and thread bare cover on it. Had it not been late with the two little ones already asleep, I would have left. This room should not even be offered is the sofa bed is in such a disgusting state. When we brought it to the front desk's attention they said sorry and offered extra sheets to attempt to cover the horrible mattress. Aside from the mattress issue, the pool also smelled awful despite the very high chlorine levels. Everything else in our visit seemed to be in order but because of that mattress I had a very hard time feeling comfortable and trusting that corners were not cut elsewhere. Icky.

Great location. Beds and pillows are amazing. Better than Embassy Suites bedding. The staff is amazing. Love the back yard area with grills, seating and garden. Happy hour weekly. Clean and great location. My favorite place to stay in Omaha!!

This place was perfect. The staff was very accomodating and helpful. Even the custodial staff was smiling and saying hello in the hallway. The hotel is in a location with shopping and restaurants in walking distance. The parking lot was well lit and safe. Our suite was very clean and spacious with modern fixtures. The shower was comfortable and so were the beds. My favorite was the breakfast. We had a filling breakfast out on the patio with a great cup of coffee. #hotelsandresorts #ignitehospitalityservice #hotelphotography #workandtravel #besthotel #hotelarchitecture #Traveler #hotellife #picoftheday. #instatravel #photooftheday #hotelarchitecture#hoteliers #tourism #beautifulhotels #hotelmanagement #besthotels #hotelfun #hotelroom

We stay here often and we always have a good visit. This last stay tho they did not offer their usual social in the evenings. This is a very big reason why we like to stay at Staybridge Suites all over the country.

The property was a convient location for the things we did ( Zoo, Botanical garden, Brass Armadillo, BK pediatrician bridge) Our room was great. Spacious, clean and well supplied. The breakfast staff did an awesome job keeping the hot food and coffee filled. Also wiping tables as guests left. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Thanks Scott for the great info.
