I can't be too critical of them because I'm just so dang tired of Scooters and Starbucks everywhere. Happy to see a change of scenery. There were some essentials missing from my java jaunt here though. They were out of quiche. I ordered some bread but they didn't have butter. My friend asked for a cup of water and they just gave them water with no ice. No silverware or plate. Come on folks. Come on.

What a nice small coffee shop. Muffins were fresh and delicious, coffee was good too. I had a latte, but may try a specialty roast next time, just because they had so many! Will definitely be back.

A very cool spot to get tasty drinks and bakery yummies! This place has an inviting atmosphere combining fresh light through the windows, warm ambient lighting inside, the welcoming smell of coffee beans brewing, and interesting items to purchase for yourself or the person for whom it's hard to buy something new! The owner and staff are friendly and the clientele enjoy sitting inside and outside in pairs or with a group, or just curled up alone with a drink and a phone, or a book, or a computer! Good music and a clean environment! And, I don't even drink coffee! This is one of those places my wife wants me to try with her that for me are usually one-and-done, but THIS store is one I'd willingly and happily go to again with her more than once for a smoothie and a tasty bakery goodie! I highly recommend!

Lovely Shop. Open when other places in Strip Mall were still closed. Milk alternatives. Many brewed coffees to choose from.

Very good coffee, with a wide variety of beans available for purchase. They're brought in fresh on a weekly basis. As with many coffee shops, they also offer a selection of baked goods, such as brownies. The service has been consistently good.

I love this place so much. Every time we're in town we stock up on coffee beans and get some coffee to go. Absolutely phenomenal roasts and great customer service.

We got a pumpkin spice decaf latte and pumpkin cake. Delish! Latte was very smooth and the cake was just right, not too sweet. We sat outside as it was nice, sunny and warm. The inside of the cafe was very warm and inviting. Decorated for fall. My favorite season.

Had a Hazelnut white mocha breve. It was fantastic. 10/10. I’m a barista and can completely say they nailed it. 😍🥰 totally worth dropping in here. Cute vibes, great drinks.

The greatest selection of decaf and more! I'm currently drinking some Maple Bourbon (caffeinated) I took home, so I might be a bit biased, but I've gone here so many times and never been disappointed. Their decaf Amaretto was so powerful that it's the first coffee my mom can drink without adding milk and sugar. A little pricey to buy the beans, but I think it's worth it! Try the sample flavors or the brews of the day if you're unsure where to start (though I doubly recommend the Amaretto if that sounds good to you).

I used to love coming here but the past 5 times or so I have come here, the coffee has tasted like burnt cardboard. No matter what flavor i ask for or what kind of drink, it all comes out tasting the same. And the service from a couple of the younger girls have been pretty lackluster and they seem annoyed every time I come in. I try to be not difficult in ordering my drinks. I keep it pretty simple and still seem to get a bit of an attitude. Whenever the actual owner has made my drink it comes out near perfect btw but unfortunately she isn’t usually making drinks. I love the atmosphere here so much but when that’s all you got going for you Im just gonna go to starbucks which I hate doing because I want to support local. So far all the local places around omaha are pretty subpar due to the coffee itself and service. I hope this place does better. Will probably come back in a few years to see if it got any better but ive wasted too much money on this place wanting so bad for them to just make me a decent coffee that doesn’t taste like cardboard. My wallet won’t allow it anymore.

Hands down my favorite coffee shop in Omaha (and I've been to a ton)! I thoroughly enjoy the drinks I get there and the friendly service. The owner, Patty, and a couple of the employees, Harley and Luke, make the experience worth it each and every time. I would recommend the chai tea latte and to try a delicious home made sugar cookie. The shop also has several cute items for sale, sold by local small business owners. Patty is also adding something new to the store and sometimes, if you're lucky, you might walk away with a free sample of a sweet treat! I'd take the Village Grinder over Starbucks any day.

I can’t believe I haven’t rated village grinder yet! One of Omaha OG local coffee shops! I went to high school across the street 20 years ago and have been loving it since then. Great black coffee and every treat is excellent 💕

This place! So cute! Coffee is so good, they have so many different roasts to choose from, and teas. I bought Snikerdoodle in whole bean and an Americano. Seriously one of the best coffee shops I have been to!

The barista, Luke, was super kind and helpful! He's never made me a bad drink. I would recommend going in and getting a drink here over a chain like scooters or starbucks. You can taste the higher quality and its the same price as anywhere else.

Wow, this place is great! I had the 2020 lemonade tea and it was incredible! Great space although it is a little small. If you need a place to work/read/study/just get out of the house this is a great place to go. There are pllenty of sweets options and the owner supports local vendors which is admirable.

First, locally owned & I always try to support those. She has the best & freshest coffee I've ever had. When you get a bag in your car, you can smell the coffee & I've never had that from any other brands. Also their coffee drinks are better then anywhere else & I've tried most. Great staff too & friendly.

Unquestionably, the best coffee shop in the area! I’m so thankful that finally, I was able to find this spot for some good coffee a few blocks from my house, that has it all! The service is friendly and fast, it’s all around the best coffee shop I have ever been to. (And I’ve been to lots). If you haven’t had a chance to try the Pumpkin Bread Latte, I highly suggest it with Oat Milk, chilled! Sooooooo gooood! Thank you VG, for having the best coffee establishment in town! Oh, don’t forget to have their chocolate cookies 🤤🤤☕️🍪🩷
