I love this gym! Even with being short staffed they do great! The staff is friendly and everyone who's there to workout typically stays to themselves. It's nice because you will see the same faces and seeing everyone train regularly is motivating because you know you're working out with people who take their goals seriously. It is diverse, inclusive, and as a woman, I know I am 100% safe here.

This gym make improving and I believe soon it will be a 5 start gym The change from old manager and staff to new manager Jesse is like not sleeping with a mosquito. He and his staff make smile greet you hello and are not to busy on personal calls using obscene language while freely dropping the N'word. New staff is cleaning keeping supplies stocked for us and is tolerate of my English and my sister's English. What I feel will improve things would have the loud gym patrons in the morning shouting and laughing at the top of their lungs to keep their voice to a normal conversational tone when others try to make exercise and when man make work in bathroom always have sign

I'm still leaving 5 stars because 1 person is not going to define this place and others, me and my mother have been going for quite some years. Excellent place to do workouts, and is a real judge free zone. Gym is very clean and the young ladies up desk and other staff are nice. However, the new trainer with the eyedrop tattoos is rude and disrespectful. He humiliated an elderly woman in front of people saying that she was crazy only because she didn't want to wear her mask, (when himself and other people wasn't wearing them too.) He was being very rude with me and my mother as well up front desk one time and that definitely made us uncomfortable.... Everytime whenever we go he starring hard at us and honestly we don't tolerate that kind of bs. It's disappointing to us because this planet fitness is the closest one and the best.

The Ames Street establishment is clean. The employees are very nice & It has a lot of machines to workout on. The 1 thing I would improve on is the outside lighting. It is very dark with lots of blind spots. It has a very creepy feeling to it. I don't attend this location too often, which is close to my residence, because of how unsafe it feels.

This place has COMPLETELY turned themselves around. They used to employ a lot of transphobes and homophobes. Now they have LGBTQIA Empliyees working there. The gym is always clean and is much more popular than it used to be. Once the staff sees you cone in a few times they will great you in personal yet professional manner. I will never give up my membership.

Honestly, I really enjoyed this place and my experience. Love the hydro bed and massage chair they are really good touches to have, especially after a really hard workout. It was my first time but I can't wait until my next time.

I joined this gym over 2months ago, when I signed up online I didn’t even read all the benefits of a black card older, however Ms Ashlie Hunt walked me through everything a couple of days ago ! I’m so grateful for her , she seem to love what she does! Thank you Ashlie for helping me out !

I would and have recommended this gym to others, I’ve been using this location for two years consistently and have had no issue with the gym. I’m typically greeted when I enter and when I leave, and there’s somebody always available to help you even if they are not at the front desk 24/7 you can call the front desk phone and you’ll be assisted shortly after, as for the equipment itself, everything is kept as clean as it could be, I regularly see employees wiping down equipment and dusting anything that needs it, off. I’ve had no issues with the employees in my time using this location, I keep simple gym etiquette and don’t get bothered a bit. As for the locker and shower area, I’d say both areas are well kept clean (I regularly use both). I’ve given a 10/10 because of the gym environment, cleanliness and staff. As I’m somebody who understands that the employees can’t change things such as other “gym-goers” leaving weights in certain areas or not re-racking their weights after using them, for the price, this gym competes on or above the same level as other gyms that typically cost more.

Friendly staff that are always happy to help with any questions I have. The equipment is always clean and the environment is upbeat.

I actually go to the 90th St and Ames locations and both are great. I do go at a time during the day where there isn’t many ppl there and I love that. I deleted one star (no fault of the business) bc I hate when people don’t wipe down their equipment. So I would suggest wipe it down before you use it and after. Also the staff at both locations are super friendly and willing to help if you’re not sure about a machine, how to work it, and what it helps. People also mind their business and don’t pay you any mind. Ima shy person so please don’t watch me LOL! But if you’re consistent with any gym you will see the progress! I go daily M-F and even after my 1st week (and changing eating habits) I can feel and see a difference. And did I mention it’s $10 a month….you can’t lose!!!!!! I will update later with pics💕

Ms. Ebone helped my out tremendously, going above and beyond explaining the membership perfectly and professionally while also being friendly! She was very considerate of my position and my reasoning for switching plans! 10/10 experience! Thank you Ms. Ebone for all of your help and knowledge on my membership!

I love how clean it always. The people at the front desk are always nice and welcoming. I've had nothing but great experiences from my Planet Fitness.

Great facility, staff is amazing, respectful, and eager to make accommodations. Equipment is clean and in good working condition. If you want a good workout without being hassled then this is the place for you.

Jim is a fantastic worker always busy and friendly. Gym is almost perfect but it is missing one of my favorite machines the abs crunch with the legs.

I went here with my fiance under His account as a guest. I scanned to enter on my account to see what would happen because I notice PF has been taking payments off my card. There was a worker at the counter that day I scanned my app and he gave me the worst experience. He told me I had a balance due. I told him yea I know PF had been taking payments, he than says and u still been able to work out?? I told him well I come under my fiancés account. He than proceeds to tell me to give him one good reason he should let me in. I thought it was a joke, but no he was dead serious and so rude about it. He would not let me in and kept telling me to give him a good reason he should let me in. I felt judged, and unwanted at that gym and embarrassed!. That employee had no right tell me that. I Left messages for the manager but yet to call back. I no longer attend that location.

Planet fitness is clean. They have plenty of machines and waits to workout with they have different programs. Everytime I go there's never more than 10 people there, this place can accommodate a lot more than that. The staff is friendly and more than willing to show you how to use any equipment that you don't know how to use. Black card members even have access to tanning booths and massage chairs. There are multi televisions with different channels on them that you can either Bluetooth or plug into on any machine to listen to they also have radio that you can plug into on any machine and listen to it's a good environment to workout

This is my favorite planet fitness. I love the manager Destiny she is so polite and is always busy cleaning I love a clean area. The whole staff is kind

I love this location! And the employee Ashley that works the overnight/early morning shift is so pleasant! She’s always so welcoming at 5am which makes it nice coming in for your workout so early in the day! I recommend this gym. Nice and clean.

If you don't want your stuff to be stolen, don't come to this gym. Don't put anything in the locker because thief will break the lock and it will be gone. There is nothing this place can do about it.

The gym is nice! But when I asked the so called personal trainer would he train me, he replied I don't want you to waste my time or yours! So I told him never mind. He didn't seem interested! I really would like to make a complaint. I was never even shown around I guess I have to figure it out myself.

This used to be a great gym until today. I have downgraded from 5 to 1 and I will not be back. When you treat your Blackcard member and guest like subpar then we take our business elsewhere. This is what happens when you bring white people to work at predominantly black establishments. Do better in hiring!
