The superior room has a very small bathroom. If you booking this room you have access to the lounge where you can find a selection of drinks and snacks. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find because it is not marked. For breakfast there was a large selection of everything. I recommend just change mark of tea for better taste.

This place should get 10 stars, great Service great breakfast very nice and clean good smelling rooms. No mold or anything else bad....just love it. There is a good reason why I say here every time I'm in Ostrava sadly it isn't more often.

Everything is great except for the pillow. Unfortunately, it was a little too high for my taste, so I woke up in the middle of the night with pain on my neck. I asked if there were other sizes available and the answer was no. Other than that, nothing to point out. Excellent breakfast, so much to choose from!

I attended a conference at the hotel and found everything to be very well organised. The staff were all friendly and attentive. The facilities were good and the food was outstanding.

Clean room & bath room, silent, no disturbing sounds from traffic or from other rooms. Very nice breakfast, with a lot of healthy alternatives (fish, vegetables etc).

The best hotel in the city but recently lost a bit friendly character. the fact that there is no option to seat with customers for last drink after 11 pm forces me chose next time other hotel for my customers . it is not about the fact that bar is closed / no sales anymore but the way all it is handled is really problematic.

Everything was well managed and smooth. Check in and check out was fast and no waiting. Breakfast is perfect. One improvement would be to upgrade the cooler as it makes constant noise and it had to be turned off at night. Other than that, stay was perfect.

We had an unexpected stay in Ostrava as our hotel near Krakau wasn't to our expectations. We were on our way to Prague. Ostrava was quite a nice location to visit. Hotel is nicely renovated, big hallways and spacious rooms. Overall pleasant stay, although breakfast was quite pricey for what was served.

One of my favorite Mercure hotels in Europe. It is always a pleasure to stay in this hotel. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Parking at the courtyard is ok, if you do not arrive too late. You have free WiFi and access to the business lounge with free beverages all day. The room service is excellent.

I had a great stay at the hotel. The room was clean, modern, and well equipped. The only thing thing I would have appreciated is a small tub of toothpaste, which I wasn't able to find. Luckily, the hotel is very well situated and there are multiple shops nearby where you can get it. All members of the hotel staff were young, professional and very helpful. Special shoutout to the staff working the bar in the evenings. Speaking of which, you should definitely check out the bar & restaurant of this hotel. The food was absolutely excellent. You don't often get such a good combination of price, taste and presentation in Czechia. Breakfast was great too, offering a wide selection of food. Everyone will find something they'll enjoy. The hotel impressed me, and I will definitely stay here again if I visit Ostrava in the future.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Gute Zimmer die sauber sind und eine schöne Grösse haben. Top Dusche ! Gute Lage mit Bus vor dem Hotel. Je nach dem wo das Zimmer ist, kann es in der Nacht etwas laut werden.

Picked this hotel due to its location. Room was clean and staff was very nice and helpful. Downside was the parking in the courtyard which was always full in the evening so had to find a parking around the hotel - not a big inconvenience if one leaves between 7AM-8AM. After that time there is a high risk of getting fine since the places are reserved for residents. Sauna is nice (there are only 2 deckchairs for rest - I may not be looking for others hard enough). Fitness equipment is usable but certainly past its good days ...long time ago ;-)

Nice hotel right in the centre of the city, however it's quite at night, which is only a plus. Quite small, but comfortable rooms, everything you need is there. The only thing: the sound isolation is not too good, because I heard my neighbours and sounds from the corridors, doors openings and closings. However, if you're not too sensitive to sounds during sleeping, that should not be a problem.

Stayed for 21 nights, the Location and staff at the hotel were excellent. The internet did not work in my room which in this day and age is a requirement on all trips. The bed was very uncomfortable with 2 small pillows which were very flat. The hotel in general needs an uplift as it is totally outdated

Mercure Ostrava Center Hotel. Excellent Hotel, the place is clean and well organized. The location is right in the middle of the city There is a very good atmosphere. Breakfast is served as a buffet and with very good quality. Most importantly, the hotel owns a parking area (with payment) which is a big benefit. Choosing this hotel was a very good decision. I accumulated for 9 days and I warmly recommend this hotel.

The Bed was actually pretty nice, rest of the decor was kinda old and well low quality and the carpet had mold or stains on it. Over all for the price quite expensive and not recommend.

Cozy hotel in the city centre Ostrava. Spaciousness and perfect cleaning of the rooms. Comfortable bed and perfect temperature. Breakfast is buffet, varied to meet whatever need. From the hotel all the points of interest of the city are at walking distance. Staff is kind and supportive.

Nice hotel, rooms are modern but showers are designed badly. The room attendant also refused to ever change towels which was frustrating. Food downstairs was brilliant but as expected, far pricier than other local establishments. Breakfast was good but nothing exceptional.

A bit like Ostrava itself, this hotel has seen better days. The front desk staff are very helpful and the buffet breakfast is surprisingly good, but the rooms could do with renovating and the overall feel of the hotel is of a 3- or maybe 3.5-star, not a 4-star. However, there aren't many options in Ostrava when it comes to decent hotels, so this remains the only choice for most business visitors.

Classy hotel, I've lived the care and kindness of the staff. Nice bar, delicious breakfast.

Clean and nice room. Breakfast: you have multiple choices. One problem, they have not enough table. So we can sit by bar table. When we arrive to the hotel by the check in can wait only a few minutes. Women forget to explane when we can eat breakfast and how the parking lot is work. But we enjoy our stay. Recommend for all.

This is an old hotel that acquired Mercure. The stuff is very kind and helpful, speaks English. The restaurant is quite good, no so many choice for food. I tried a fried pork and that was delicious. The location is pretty good, close to the river and the center of the bars. You could use tram and trolley bus that stops next to the hotel.

Nice location, spacious room, good service. Though it was really dusty in a room. My phone was covered with dust just overnight. Also toilet seat was a way too high. I'm 173 but have trouble to put my feet on the floor while sitting 🙄

Mercury hotel is situated in a nice location. They have a parking space for your car. Breakfast was good but the hall felt cramped up. I think they try to optimise the available space however the atmosphere was more like eat up and leave :). Front desk staff were nice and helpful. Soft drinks in the mini bar were complimentary and there’s a premium lounge open 24 hrs where you can have some complimentary snacks. You have to be sure that lounge access is attached to your room reservation.
