Excellent modern facility and friendly staff Booked the ultrasound through my GP to this diagnostic imaging centre. I was very impressed with it upon entering the clinic: clean, modern, well lit, accessible. The waiting area offers cushioned seatings, shoe covers and hooks on the wall to hang your jackets. Staff was very friendly and professional, from the receptionist to the ultrasound technician, everyone was super friendly, helpful yet efficient. I felt safe and relaxed during my entire visit. Highly recommend!

It's ok. x-ray went ok. But no one picks up the phones. Then their system offers a 'press 2' to leave a voicemail - doesn't work. I had a '0' minute wait and I am still waiting 10 minutes later. The first one was about 10 minutes as well and then was dropped. If you need an urgent ultrasound, you're better off waiting hours at emergency. UPDATE based on response from owner: I never expected immediate assistance! nowhere in my review did I say that. I understand you're busy but your voice service is misleading. . it says 'zero minute wait" when it's not. It says "press 2" for voicemail, pressing 2 doesn't work- nothing happens when you press 2. The voice messaging needs fixing- whether or not you're busy - for the sake of transparency. Most places would appreciate this feedback - oh well. PS: I wasn't calling to book an appointment Not sure what the finances, and hiring statement was in response to. But I guess those OHIP payments with over 200 people/day isn't too shabby eh.. so much so that you can afford a condescending and unnecessary response such as this. Allow me to summarise my issue for you "Have a look at your phone system. The prompts are NOT doing what they should AND they are not relaying the correct information to YOUR clients" Goodness!!!

Super efficient. Very friendly technician Tory made it an easy and quick visit. Love that your place in line can be done remotely and check in when arriving so the wait there was very short. Really the way things should be everywhere. Highly recommended.

Went today for my first ever visit. I needed a few x-rays and the staff were super nice, the facility is great and I didn't have to wait long at all. Also, I elected to purchase my x-ray images and report and the cost is only $20. Who would argue with that? I actually ripped up a referral to another Kanata clinic after two unsuccessful attempts to get my x-rays there. From now on, Avantia is my first choice.

We had the best ultrasound done today performed by Sam! Honestly the best ultrasound tech we have had to date. Highly recommend requesting her if you can. Very lovely experience at this ultrasound clinic and the front desk ladies were helpful in calling our OB as the requisition fax wasn’t sent properly.

I needed an x-ray today but really didn’t want to wait about. So I googled “x-ray near me” after I arrived at Costco. I found Avantia was closest and also had an online check-in. They claimed there was a 30 minute wait. I laughed to myself, thinking “as if”, but signed up anyway. I did my shop at Costco, then drove to the clinic. They were ready for me almost right away. My mind is blown. The service at the desk and with the technician was great. I’d rather not need another x-ray, but I know where I’ll go when I do!

I had an echocardiogram at Avantia in Kanata today and I’m not sure if I’ve ever felt so respected by a technician before. I’ve gone through cancer and multiple surgeries, had tons of medical appointments and typically with these appointments when they have to access your chest, they aren’t all that careful about covering you up. This technician went above and beyond to give me dignity and respect and ensured I was covered up the entire time. I’ve had experiences where I’ve been fully exposed and they’ve just opened the door for anyone to see while I scrambled to cover myself and it was really embarrassing. I very much appreciated the care he took and just wanted to leave a review to say thank you.

Nice that they have an online waiting system, but it doesn't seem to update very often. After waiting 2 hours before I actually went in, everything went very smoothly and fast. I was in and out in 15 minutes. The technician and staff were very nice and efficient.

Excellent experience with this X-ray clinic. I signed in online saw my estimated time and waited for it to near 20 mins. However, it always got bumped back to 40 mins. I then realized at 20 minutes if you are not close the wait time and order reshuffles as ones that are ready can go ahead to keep things efficient rather than wait on those who think they are ready but are not. highly recommend sending requisition in photo or file before hand. once I arrive, I sat for no more than five minutes. I was in and out in 20 minutes total. very good service

Used the virtual line up and worked great! Greeted by reception that actually looked as though she enjoyed her job and it was reflected in the way she dealt with people…courteously and with a smile. Same with the X-ray technician and her student. Waited for a whopping 3 minutes and I was in and out without feeling rushed and with a smile on my face.

I was confused how on the one hand it was stated on the website that for x-rays that you don't need a reservation and to jus walk in but that on the other hand there IS a wait list that you can "book" for. I suppose that's not really a reservation but a system to help prevent waiting in their waiting room for long. And that system does work. You can do this when you arrive at a walk in but you can also do this before you leave home. It then tells you the ETA that it's your turn and that worked out really well, close enough anyway. Then when it was my son's turn I went with him to a room and there was a very nice lady that did the photo work. It was very easy going and efficient. I will definitely pick this place again the next time any of family members need to have x-ray work done.

I went here today for a walk-in x-ray and was so happy with the service I received. From the time I entered to the time I left I was in there for about 20 minutes. The wait was very quick and the technicians were friendly and efficient and I was off on my way. All the staff were super friendly too. Would definitely recommend this place for any of your imaging needs.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience here. I was lucky enough to have Tori Paterson MRT doing my X-rays. I have had many X-rays in my life and she was exceptional. She was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and was done so quickly and accurately. I hope I always get her. Thank you for making this a good experience for me. Candis Glover

Where do I begin. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I’ve now used Avantia 3 times for ultrasounds and when you first walk in you will notice how clean and inviting the lobby is. The two receptionists are very friendly and greet you as soon as you walk in. On two separate occasions they were able to get me in on the same day. Unfortunately our hearts were broken at our last ultrasound which was to confirm our miscarriage, but I will tell you, our technician, Jenny, was Amazing. She’s gentle, walks you through it, makes sure you’re not in any pain or discomfort and has great bedside manners. I’ll likely ask for her any time I have to go there, just because of how well she does her job. My first experience there, I had a different technician who referred to my first miscarriage as an abortion and that definitely hurt my heart. But once I explained our loss, she apologized and addressed it correctly. I’ll also add that the results were sent to my dr by the next day. They’re the best in Stittsville and surrounding areas.

I had an anatomical ultrasound for my pregnancy here and couldn't wish for better experience. The clinic is clean, modern and receptionists are very nice. My technician Humaira was great, she was always making sure I'm comfortable and made the best photos of my baby for me. I recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a pregnancy ultrasounds.

This was for a walk in XRar service. Sign in was electronically started and I was added to a queue. Then reception took my requisition and ID. I was told there were 2 ahead of me and it would be 30 minutes or so. 1 hr and 15 minutes later I was called in for the procedure. The technologist was pleasant and informative. Procedure took about 10 minutes.

They have an amazing system at this establishment. I went for an x-ray which are on a walk-in basis, so I joined the online queue while I drove there and by the time I got there I only had to wait about 10 minutes. The x-ray technician Sam was very kind! Highly recommend and very glad this is where my doctor was able to get me a requisition.

I was very impressed with the service I received at Advantia Imaging. I really like the fact that you can book an appointment online or put yourself in a queue for the walk-in x-ray. Reception was very polite and efficient. The medical technicians were very professional, caring, and made every effort to make sure I was comfortable and understood what was going on. Everything was bright and clean. I highly recommend using this company for any x-rays that you might need.
