😠 Why shop at the most expensive grocery store AND put up with their antiquated self checkout machines? The regular check outs are seldom properly staffed. It's a pain shopping here. Their produce is also expensive and frequently not fresh. I try to avoid whenever possible. You should too! People often mention store, Loblaws, good, grocery, staff, fresh, selection, great, products, prices,

Really good place to do all you grocery shopping. The staff here are friendly and helpful. The meat section is quite extensive and we'll stocked. There is enough parking and easily accessible.

This is the one of the largest Loblaws locations I’ve been to. It has many products that the smaller locations don’t. It has a good selection of “home stuff” and a large Joe Fresh area. Easily one of my favourite Loblaws locations in the Ottawa area.

I have been in the Gloucester Ontario loblaws 3 Times in the last month and do my own check out. There is always an employee there…not sure why, because he/she is not cleaning or doing anything but watching us. The self serve counter is disgusting!!! I’m sure it has never been cleaned. The 3 times I’ve been in, it’s always filthy dirty and makes me wonder how behind the closed doors it looks like. It’s unacceptable that no one is cleaning this. I will not be going in any more. At least have someone clean the corners…..it’s absolutely dirty !! BTW These photos have been taken on different days. These photos make the counters look cleaner then what they truly are

Visit Saturday September 3, 2022. Clean, well lighted, wide aisles. A larger location than most offering the usual groceries and sundry goods but also home essentials such as clothing, home furnishings and more.

A big Loblaws with a big selection and big prices. You will find nearly everything they offer at a lower price elsewhere, even their sale items. I only buy here when I just need a few things and other stores are out of my way.

Decent Loblaws. But each time I go there is always a huge line-up. They should also update the old self-checkout machines.

The food here is good 👍 .There's a very large and vast choice of choosing things that would make you want to go out sometime. It's a one-stop and go. You can't beat prices here and always good. New items and specials sometimes such as the 2 for 1 or 3 for 1 specials. There's no other place in Ottawa than this here. Beats it all from aspect of price and ambiance. The fruits are fresh. Just make sure to look for the perfect one 👍👍

Since the cash register lines have been removed in store (ie. 1 line for all registers), the customer experience has been horrible with navigating around people that line up all the way into the aisles. This has slowed down service when trying to pay for groceries which resulted in us waiting 15 minutes to pay (this was compounded with a slow check out clerk). Please go back to the 1 line for all cashes which was much quicker and created a more orderly line for customers (ie. not having to navigate around people).

John from deli is the ideal costumer service representative. He made our quick trip to the store so fun and memorable. Also he gave us some great recommendations, which we bought all of. Thank you John!

We had a sudden death in the family and organized a last minute family celebration of life. They staff at the deli were amazing and able to accommodate my short notice order. We were really grateful for their help. You made our day ❤️

I recently shopped at Loblaws Ogilvie Road grocery store and was impressed by the store's clean, well-organized layout and wide variety of products. The produce section is particularly impressive, with a wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. The store also has a great selection of organic and natural products, as well as a wide variety of international foods. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the checkout process is quick and efficient. Overall, I had a great shopping experience at Loblaws Ogilvie Road and would definitely recommend it to others.

In Gloucester center, this is the biggest supermarket having all grocery and household stuffs under one roof. Pricey. A large area is dedicated for fresh vegetables and fruits section followed by non veg. A pharmacy also inside. Free wifi available for customers.

We shop here often, great selection of meat and organic food. Bev (was our cashier) is the most delightful, kind and helpful person. She made our evening.

My wife and I have been coming to this store for years. Nice, large and open store layout, and they generally have what we're looking for. Staff are usually pretty friendly and helpful with some occasional exceptions. Like most stores their cashier staff are on a revolving door, so you get used to one or two and then suddenly there are new ones. I would say their cashiers are perhaps the worst trained staff in the place. It's happened a few times that they've screwed something up on us, and they're often not very apologetic. The washrooms at the front of the store on the second level have always been clean, but the one's at the back of store by the dairy department are disgusting. Loblaws in general is somewhat overpriced, and I hate that most of their sales are "multis," meaning you have to buy more than one of the same item to get a sale discount. However, the PC points program is pretty good and at least somewhat makes up for this.

It's okay, if you avoid the bakery staff, their always annoyed and the section isn't very put together. The cakes are often mislabeled and the self serve bread machine is a disaster. The staff at the front are very pleasant to see, one always help me put my cart back because of the new dividers, hes super nice and friendly. The meat department is always happy to help and I've never met any floor or grocery staff. The only inconvenience it the new mall entrance hours, I don't love walking around an extra 10 minutes just to use the main entrance. Especially at night. I shop her 1-2 times per week so it's a bit upsetting. All in all their products are great the majority of the time.

Even though I live much closer to the Superstore in Orleans, I drive the extra distance to come to this Loblaws. They seem very similar overall except that everything is just better here. It is cleaner, better stocked, etc... No idea why since they are essentially the same company...

Nice big store, very clean. Nice to see real butchers working! Hey Gealen … get rid of the “stuff” and sell groceries. No chutney, absolutely none, limited Indian foods for example.

It is shameful that Loblaws continues to source eggs from hens crammed into tiny, barren, wire battery cages in spite of their commitment to end this. These poor birds never experience fresh air or sunshine and cannot engage in any natural behavior or even stretch a wing. Imagine living in a crowded elevator, standing on milk crates in your bare feet. Even the animals unfortunate enough to be caught up in our food system deserve a life worth living.

Staff is nice and attentive. Food seems to be always fresh and their vegan isle has grown a lot; which is great. Place is always clean and there are rarely any altercations. Things are almost always labelled correctly. Only thing is, stuff are overpriced as you can walk to Walmart withing the same mall and find the same product for less. I highly recommend Loblaws for produce and vegan food. In terms of canned foods and brand name everyday products, you can find it for cheaper elsewhere.

Spicy prices on the deli, but otherwise well stocked for a North American clientele. Love the fresh fruit selection! And I mean FRESH! Great all around neighborhood grocery store.

Like this store. Usually we'll stocked for sale items which seems rare at other stores. Best prices on lrg bags of dogfood at the moment and paired with points usually good value all around. Good deals on fresh fish usually a couple times a week

Since i have major food allergies .. just the fact that their is so much prepared foods akin to a restaurant .. this majorly sets off my allergies and so i mostly avoid this store .. but from time to when certain items are on significant sale it forces me to sacrifice my health to sape hunt in there .. but i often find their normal prices aren't affordable for myself being on an tight monthly budget .. i prefer doing bulk grocery purchases to save on $ . And unfortunately they don't have bulk butchered wholesale prices on meat nor bulk sized wholesale frozen veg etc .. nor 50lb bags of potatoes onions rutabaga beets cabbage etc . And so as mentioned it's not our favorite place and it's solely do to our style of grocery shopping that this store does not cater to. Oh but they do cater to prepared foods and single grocery shoppers that do groceries weekly .. lol .. just not my style as i abhore that stype of price marketing .. but this store is of that normality.

Ordered groceries for pickup for the first time. Didn't have a single thing missing and everything was bundled with care not to cause spills or crush delicate items. They provided plastic bags which made unloading quick and easy.

Galen announced a price freeze on no name products this week. Funny how it seemed every OTHER product seemed that much more expensive today. Nice marketing ploy Loblaws. The store was understaffed - good luck finding some help if you need it.

I went to this location this evening with the intent to purchase some good cuts of steak for my family to enjoy... I waited at the butcher counter for 5mins where there were no employees. I asked a few of the people who worked there who were going in and out of the employees doors in the next department if there was anyone who could help. I waited another 5 mins and a young man came out to tell me they were all on break for the next half hour. I said I rarely splurge on expensive meats and was going to be spending over $100 and he shrugged his shoulders and walked away. For a large corporation that makes alot of money and does not appreciate customers spending and is okay with their employees giving this kind of service is unacceptable to me. I will not shop here again.

😠 Worst service ever. The grumpy lady at night shift wouldn't manually enter my credit card as the stripe was not working. I asked her before i started scanning if she knew if she could help. 😠 Had the worst checkout experience of my life here. Good customer service is very hard to come by nowadays. I usually go to this store because you can price match and use coupons on certain items. 😠 This used to be a great store. Went in yesterday to pick up a few things. Made it up to the cash and only a couple were open with lengthy line-ups. Another line-up nearly to the back of the store for self checkout. Waited for 20 minutes as I really needed the items but the line still wasn’t moving....
