    Sadly, there are no puppies here. Having said that, they have lizards and snakes and fish and birds and kittens. They also have puppy training school and dog training school. They have pet grooming services on site as well. All sorts of toys and collars and beds for all different types of pets. They also have all the Little Critters that you need to have to feed your Lizards or your snakes or what have you. There are oodles and oodles of things here for your pets and it is a pet friendly store so you can walk through with your pet on a leash to do your shopping. Actually kind of cool. Very helpful staff that checks up on you frequently to make sure everything is going smoothly. #localguide

    Neyri is fantastic. She greets you with a smile and did a great job with my dog. He seemed very happy when I picked him up so I’m happy as well. He’s had some previous bad experiences getting groomed so it’s a relief I found a good match for him.

    This is my go to pet store but lately this has not been wheelchair accessible and it is so frustrating! So many trolleys, ladders and junk in every aisle making it impossible to get through. Not sure if it’s a lack of organization or what’s going on but it’s not ok. When confronting the cashier, he looked at me with a blank stare and ignored me. Won’t by returning.

    Great location for training - Lee is the absolute best trainer we've met 😁 They're knowledgeable, calm, friendly, and can work with any dog. Wouldn't take our puppy anywhere else

    If I need a grooming done this place has the best team. NIKKO YOU KNOW I'M TALKING ABOUT YOU HOMIE 🤜🤛Charlie will only let you cut his nails and I appreciate so does my hardwood floors.

    Bought a baby hamster and all the supplies required!!!! The staff was super nice and made fair suggestions!!! Edit: i also bought a ceramic dish and some sand for my hamster’s bath. They didn’t have a sand specially for hamsters but they had some reptile sand that is safe for hamsters and my hamster absolutely loves it.

    Terrible employee information. I went in looking for treats for my picky dog post-operation. I was told that any treats that my dog would not eat, could be returned. I spent a ton of money and now im trying to return what he didn't want. TURNS OUT THAT ISN'T HOW IT WORKS. I'm now told that treats are not returnable, so I'm stuck with TONS of over-expensive treats my dog won't touch. Thanks PetSmart. I'll be going back to PetValu where I CAN return undesired treats.

    Charged twice for grooming. Tried to pay online before picking up my pup. Went through all the steps and at the end received an error. Went into store and paid at cash. Next day discovered they charged me online as well. Store manger clearly saw the issue but told me to work it out with the bank. Bank recommended I work it out with the merchant (PetSmart) who refuses to do anything. I am now filing a dispute with my bank and will never deal with PetSmart again. They took advantage of my account online and took money from me. They did nothing to resolve what was clearly their error. Really liked this store before this and loved the groomers but have lost all trust.

    This store was so much better as Super Pet. The staff looks miserable. The groomers look like they hate their jobs. The cashier looked like she was seconds away from hanging herself. Feels closed in, and depressing. Not a single employee asked me if I needed help with anything, or even looked in my direction. My son was actually pushed out of the way by an employee that was stocking shelves.

    I always have an amazing experience at this location everyone is super friendly they always do my chihuahua hair so nice she comes out feeling so soft and they even give her treats during her pampering (for anyone that would like to know I picked the shortest hair setting which is the first one on the furry pad they show you ) definitely worth every penny :-)

    WATCH OUT and check your receipt: I bought 3 Tiger Barb from this store which was $3.99 each. But when I came home and checked my e-receipt they charge me $4.99 each and the name of the fish is AQ Barb. Initially I thought they made mistake. Next week I went to the same store again with my son to buy another fish then I have checked the price for Tiger Barb and price was $3.99. I have asked the gut from the store and he is trying to tell me may be it was higher price last week. I told him I clearly remember it was $3.99. Then the guy spoke to manager and they refunded $3. And as usual I bought another fish named Rosey Barb, which was $6.99. And I did not pay attention again at the receipt as it is e-receipt. I came home and checked again they charged me $1 extra and same the name of the fish is AQ Barb (I trusted them thinking first time they made mistake, and I want to believe my Pet Store). This is the store i got every time when I buy my pet. But this two experience leading me to believe this store stealing peoples money. Second time same lady gave me refund of $3 for previous mistake and made the same mistake again. So I tried to remember what may happened. They check the bar code that is wrriten by the guy from the floor and than at the check out they change the bar code and add $1 extra. Again WATCH OUT your receipt.

    I was not sure about a product for my pet so I called the store to find out more information. The staff who answers my call was so caring, so polite, she took her time to help me with correct information. I had to go in and purchase this item and as I walked in every single staff were awesome! They were kind, caring, polite and pleasant. Thank you so much for great service and amazing team!

    The fish section is not well cared for. Often finding dead fish in almost every tank. Very sad that they are so neglected. I went there 4 days in a row exchanging fish. Guppies. All from the same tank. The same dead fish in there every single time. I finally got a refund because they just kept dying. My other guppies from a different tank, ICH. DO BETTER! comment above mentions the cheap goldfish. Still looks like this. Even feeder fish deserve better than that.

    My dog absolutely loves going to PetSmart. Getting to pick out his toys and meet other dogs is amazing. Prices overall are okay. Staff here are super friendly and amazing

    I have visited this location yesterday. I was so upset when I left. The goldfish in the tank was in disgusting conditions, first of all, they have no decorations or anything compared to other fish. Secondly, 3 was dead and attached to the filter (I sent pictures to the photo sections of this page, feel free to go take a look!), they had been decaying and it was not an overnight issue, they were pretty much all “swimming” at the bottom of the tank and appeared pretty sick. 3 of them together had their fins decaying while still alive!! (Barely alive I should say), These fish are right next to the back door where employees pass all the time, this is unacceptable. I have talked to them yesterday and they said they JUST seen it. Well this had been going on for days if not weeks. Very sad, i cannot purchase at this location anymore and encourage this kind of behavior, it is definitely animal abuse. They were 59 cents.. I almost wanted to buy them to help but that will not fix the problem, they are suppose to know the care for all the pets they have, and treat all animal equally, i wonder if they don’t care about them as much because they are 59 cents. Hope they fix this for good and not temporarly.

    I booked an appointment online to have my dog groomed. It let me book the appointment. I called to confirm a couple of weeks later and there is no appointment booked. Furthermore, they are not even open at the time I was able to book my appointment. Apparently, if you don’t get a confirmation email it is not booked even though the web site says it is. I am not happy - what a waist of time 😡

    Awful grooming. We brought in both our dogs to get them groomed because they had some matting issues. We asked the groomer to leave the hair around their tails, faces and ears as long as possible. However, they decided to completely shave our dogs, probably damaging their coat, and they now look like a couple of rats. My family and I were so sad when we saw them for the first time, because what we loved about them was their beautiful long hair. Don't bring your pets here or they will be mutilated.

    A retractable leash that we recently purchased snapped at the clasp and I was told I was two weeks over the return policy!!!!! Maybe offer your customer 50/50 instead of turning them away. I have a Newfoundland so you can imagine how much money I used to spend there monthly.

    We showed up to our grooming appointment just to get turned around due to Rabies vaccine expired. We were there a month ago and no one ever told me that it was about to expire. When I made my appointment, the girl didn't seem to care at all about her job and now they're telling us they would have let us know that the vaccine was expired when she didn't. Otherwise, we wouldn't have had any issues. I am so disappointed and will not return.

    They will not sell goldfish to people for Nowrooz, because they have a store policy against selling fish for cultural festivals. However they put 50 or more in a small tank at their store, where you see a bunch dying near the filter, or on the bottom of the tank. Hypocrites and not very inclusive of you.

    Not sure if was the time of day but the 2 lady employees looked and seemed dead inside! I asked one for help with the fish section and seemed annoyed that I bothered her, she stopped what she was doing, looked down at her feet, whispered in some kind of radio for the other girl to come out and continued to do what she was doing without even looking me or saying anything The other girl was helpful but also very very quiet They really seem to hate their jobs Never going there again, I feel bad for the animals that are there The guy at the cash was ok

    Had been going here for years with my past two dogs. Made an apt for my 5 month old golden doodle. Online booking was wrong so they called to change apt then they called to say they didn’t feel comfortable grooming a puppy and would only do a face trim after making me wait 6 weeks for an apt. Do better Pet Smart! Be Informative from the beginning don’t string along long standing clients to suit your schedules. When I asked to cancel the clerk said “great thanks”. Will not go back. It’s a shame.

    This Pet Smart has a lot more items for my kitten and Chihuahua than the one further down Innes Road near Blair Road, however recently I have been shopping at the one near Blair Road because their staff is far more knowledgeable and extra 0polite. I don't know if it's because the staff are a lot younger at this store you asked me to rate, or if it's just because they haven't been taught any manners. I rated this store a few weeks ago but deleted it as I hate to complain about staff. Unfortunately this isn't the first time the cashier has been rude to me, and after an hour of wandering the store with a staff member, we still couldn't find what I needed. I'm feeling very frustrated to be honest. There were supposed to be extra points on 2 of the items I purchased, but the cashier couldn't verify if I would or wouldn't get the points or if I even had the right size of Royal Canin Chihuahua kibble and Royal Canin kibble for kittens. As of right now my recommendations are that you stock items in all sizes (restocking as necessary,) and that you ensure that your staff knows to be patient and polite to all customers.Thank you so much for reading this. I would prefer if you just used my first name,Victoria, and not my full name. Thanks again!

    Accessibility: Fully accessible but some tight isles/areas. A small, conveniently location PetSmart with all the essentials you need. March 2022 4★ -Very friendly, happy staff. -A lot of empty/waiting to be emptied boxes throughout but this location is very small so maybe it can't be helped. -Well stocked. Parking: public lot with lots of space. The fish selection wasn't bad, but it is smaller than other PetSmarts. It would be nice if this area had better lighting. There was a funny smell around here - possibly the crickets but it seemed worse than "cricket smell". I would return if I needed something pet related that my main pet store doesn't carry.

    I used to go to PetSmart for a lot of my pet needs. We just found out we are getting a puppy (haven't had a dog for about 10 years, just cats, fish and snakes) so my husband and I made a trip to PetSmart to get supplies. I found aisle after aisle of dog food (almost an overwhelming amount of choice) and then very little selection in the way of toys and treats. The employee at the cash was very polite but we saw lots of staff stocking shelves and not one of them asked if we needed assistance. Frankly, not the same store I used to enjoy shopping at.

    Went to pick-up an order for in-store pick-up today. Person that I talked to is very rude. She seems annoyed that a customer is picking up an order. First she can't find it and seems even more annoyed like it's my fault. She eventually found it. Maybe she thought it was a door dash order and she's rude to those drivers? I don't usually write reviews and this just ticked me of. While we are at it, store stock at times is barebones anyways.

    Prices here are $2 more than the Petsmart at the other Innes location, and the store is much smaller. Feels very cramped trying to get around and pet products are already so expensive that it feels like a rip-off going here. Friendly staff though.

    This rating is for their group class dog training. Lauren, the dog trainer, said she'll give me a call for private training to prepare our dog for the group class, but she didn't. Basically, they don't want your business. Look somewhere else if you want a trainer who'll genuinely care for your dog.

    Groomers are all fantastic! My chihuahua usually has horrible anxiety but he doesn’t at this location! All the groomers that expert care in making it an enjoyable experience for both the parent and the pet! Can’t say enough good things!

    Had a nail trim done on our our little dachshund by Nico today. He was very pleasant and professional to deal with. He was dealing with a stressful situation when we first arrived but handled it really well and ensured we were taken care of and did a great job with our little guy after. We were very impressed with the service we received.

    Horrible customer service. We had pulled up parallel to the door and opened our trunk as this is what we have done multiple times at other locations. Management came out and yelled at us to move to an actual parking spot and ran back inside. It was a misunderstanding greeted with hostility, we will not be returning.

    While the store is clean and well stocked, my biggest complaint is how they house their Leopard geckos extremely poorly and thus also give the wrong idea to new reptile owners. They have two terrariums that each have two Leo's in them, leopard geckos are solitary animals and should NEVER be kept together in the same terrarium, both pairs were showing obvious domination displays, with one laying down on top of the other. To an unknowledgable observer this would look like "cuddling" and may make someone purchase both because they think its cute, however this is extremely stressful to the animals as in actuality they are competing for resources, the act of "cuddling" is actually the dominant leo trying to prevent the lesser one from getting proper heat or other resources in an effort to starve out their competitor. If a store doesn't know how to properly keep their reptiles they should not be selling reptiles, these animals often are sent to homes and their owners are given improper information, resulting in suffering for the pet, and likely a slow and long death considering how hardy leos are. Please train your company associates on the proper care of these animals and ensure that the cycle of misinformation on reptiles, especially leos, is rectified so that they can get the kind of care they really deserve.

    Nice workers and friendly services however very dirty store as I was walking thru the entire store there was dust and cobwebs all over the place which leads me to wonder how good they keep up on covid precautions. I suggest finding a different location for your pet needs.

    I purchased 120$ worth of toys from here once and I feel like I got ripped off. Was told by an employee I was not allowed to return any of the toys that were too small for my dog due to the pandemic. Went to Dollarama and got a grocery bag filled twice the size for half the price. All of the dollar store toys lasted longer than the Petsmart ones. Petsmart has a great selection on good dog food though, so I will give them 3 stars for that.

    Looks like this location overcharges and is happy to scam you.Bought cat food, scan code was 54.99. Actual price was 49.99. Scanning code guarantee means they should take off 10$ off the price for their error. They refused because they are happy to steal your money. That's bad business. Employees make mistakes and clients pay for it. Now looking for a better more honest place to shop.

    This is the worst time I take my puppy to this location and tomorrow I will make a call because my puppy could not sleep the whole day because of their grommer she is the worst and I will deal with it she break his nail because I saw her talking with somebody and cutting his nails and she has broke one of them and I pay 88+15+10+tax just for shower and to file his nail that not hurting him because he is my world. But it is okay I will call tomorrow because now it is close and I will speak with managerrrrrr this is my first time in this location becaue the one on Innes rd is busy that is the only reason. Worst store and grommers.

    Terrible groom. Did not finish groom face area , ears and teeth and asked us to bring our dog in following day . The young lady seemed very young , new and had no experience with nervous dog. We were informed our dog tried biting her. Our dog has never exhibited that type of behavior in past. When we arrived home we had to contact another groomer to finish his face in which our dog did not bite. Its all about experience. Never again !!

    We recently brought our dog, Bailey in to the grooming salon and Candace did an amazing job. He is a difficult dog to complete but still she was able to do a fantastic job and in only an hour! We’re so happy with the job she did and so is Bailey :) I highly recommend Candace as your “go to” groomer.

    Alexa is hands down the best trainer! She helped my partner and I train our new golden named Rollo. We did the puppy training class with her, and now we’re enrolled for intermediate with her too! 10/10, would highly recommend her for anyone looking for tips and tricks that help your pet long term
