Great breakfast experience. Went there with two of my friends. Service was great and attentive. Very friendly staff made us feel welcome. Even tho we were waiting in a queue for quite some time the servers were fun and bubbly and chatted with us while we waited. We had one dish each. The food was great. An elevated breakfast options if you are into that. Coffee & drinks was tasty, however nothing too over the top - this made the place feel even more hommie actually. The only minus I would give is the bread. It didn’t taste as a fresh baguette should, but all the other food items were spot on. Would recommend the sweet options from the menus if you’re into that.

We ordered pork belly and fried eggs, mushrooms, brioche, latte, and peppermint tea. Everything was super delicious. Generous portions, perfect temperature, great presentation, and very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

One of the best Brunch places I've ever been to!! Mostly you have to wait to get a table at this place, but the food is worth the wait. The staff is cooperative too. We had baked eggs, scrambled eggs and coffee, all of it was so good!!

First chance I've had to post about our visit last Friday. I've read and heard the reviews so was keen to drop in after a visit to Sacré Cœur and was not disappointed. It was a real pleasure to be served by someone who clearly enjoyed being there, and was immediately willing to recommend a couple of dishes (it followed them helping us by advising what wasn't available as they were close to closing time). I definitely want to come back for breakfast soon!

The food was amazing we had the special french toast which was saffron panna cotta on french toast with strawberries and pistachio sauce, the second dish was mushroom on pie crust and goat cheese. Both were delicious and the service was excellent too! The coffee beans were from Market Lane Australia which is top notch 👌🏼

I can’t write enough about this place, I give lots of 5 stars reviews, I wish I could give 6 starts for this place! I visit this place randomly for breakfast, it was just amazing! Atmosphere is so cozy and nice but specially the food! I was expecting just the average but it was one of the best breakfast I had. My wife had the same experience, plates were mini art most important it was amazingly delicious!

What a lovely experience. Service was absolutely good. They are very kind and cooperative and responded very well to the demands. The food is absolutely good. Everything with the right balance of taste. Best is to share because every plate is an individual experience. The coffee is also high quality and very delicious. I highly recommend this place for a lovely brunch combined with a visit to the Sacre C.

Starting with the positives: The food was great and the service was very nice. I wouldn’t recommend going on a Sunday - it was so crowded and very loud. It was very hard to have a conversation. I received food with gluten twice before receiving my gluten free option (that was on the menu; so no special request) and both times I had to ask the staff if it was really gluten free. I think going on a day that’s less busy is a good idea. I’m sure it will be an excellent experience then.

We got caught in heavy rain in Montmartre and luckily found this place to stay dry. I've always loved Melbourne, so it was cool to learn that this restaurant started there. The people working there and the food were both excellent. Plus, they had really good coffee that made me feel like I was back in Melbourne. I'll definitely go back to this place, whether in Paris or Melbourne.

Awesome latte, awesome brunch options, delectable scrambled eggs. Can’t speak highly enough of this place. A must try if you’re looking for a really good breakfast place that’s low key. Right next to Sacre Couer

A great spot for brunch and coffee. The baked eggs are a known specialty and not to be missed. We got the “Deux” with chorizo, which was full of flavour and accompanied with fresh, crusty bread for dipping. The coffee was great too. Service was speedy and friendly. Would recommend, especially before the start of a trip around Sacré-Cœur and Montmartre.

Best cheesecake I've ever had. Best pancakes (blinis) I've ever had. Great coffee (esp in Paris where it's not a given that a good breakfast place will have good coffee). Service in English and French. Amazing location, creative and delicious menu, for a fair price - highly, highly recommend. Great place!

Really fantastic. Everything was spectacular. Very kind staff, amazing food. I had the Mushrooms and my partner had the Scallops. The Chai latte is also very good, not too sweet and full of flavour. Will def come again when I'm in Paris.

The mid day breakfast was amazing and definitely worth waiting the time to get seated. Their unique blend of Australian culinary skills with a French style made an amazingly palatable experience. It’s a small place in a side street with this interestingly unique name for a restaurant yet scores perfectly.

Interesting savoury and sweet brunch options available throughout the day and a special menu at the weekend. The ginger drink and chai were delicious, but the scrambled egg dish was made with a baguette which made eating a bit more complex due to the texture. I'd like to go back to try the sweet dishes.

Great location and food. Unfortunately I was served something quite different than expected, and then ignored. Eggs and chorizo was actually a bowl of poached fries with bread. Charged full price, no option to order something else until I asked for the bill after waiting for 30 min. I enjoyed seeing other people’s breakfasts. The menu didn’t accurately describe what came out. Try waiting, and looking at your neighbors plates before ordering. The coffee was excellent.

Having been here for brunch once, I found it to be really tasty (though a bit overpriced, therefore the 1 star reduction). The only problem is the that there is usually a queue & you can't really have your meal in peace or enjoy a slow cup of coffee afterwards since there is a ton of other people waiting outside :D If you decide to pass by, try to do it during a bit less busier hours!

Wonderful breakfast place in Paris! Absolutely delicious breakfasts and coffee, balanced, well presented and fillings meals, nothing to add.Great service and atmosphere, each guest gets personal attention. You can also buy their book with recepieces and history of the Hardware Société. A few minutes walk to Sacré-Cœur, with an iconic view. Definitely recommend and return again 👌

One of my favorite brunch spots in Paris. The only downsides are that they don't take reservations, the place is very small, and the prices are on the expensive side. When you get lucky and get a spot without a line, it makes up for all of it.

Fabulous place had to queue to get in on Sunday but well worth it. So good we returned the following day. Had the tuna millefieuille with wasabi and avocado amazing and partner had the mushroom ragout also excellent. We returned on Monday for fabulous scrambled eggs. Coffee is so good too. If we moved here we'd be here all the time

I have been going to this place for years and it never disappoints! The menu changes on a regular basis and the fried brioche changes every weekend. Add to that a beautiful location and most of all, a wonderful team and you get a winner - totally worth the wait 😊

The Minister of Finance and I dropped in for Breakfast on our Paris trip - ex-Melburnians we had been to HS in Melbourne - and being in Montmatre it was just a hike up the hill. Did not fail to impress - the coffee, the coffee - great as usual and better than most of the Parisian places we had tried. The food is excellent with a twist - we had the baked eggs deux and scrambled eggs with some good chat and an excellent Paris rooftop view. Do yourself a favour - go early.

By far the best brunch you can get in Montmarte neighborhood, the place is very cozy and the food is delicious. People are very kind and welcoming, fluently speaking in English of course. I got hooked directly and went there every morning of my stay in Paris. Can't wait to come back during my next trip!

After a number of disappointing coffees (mainly cappuccinos) from some of the typical, yet still beautiful, Parisian cafes, I came upon The Hardware Society in Montmartre. Their coffee is amazing , and by far measures up to the standards of the third wave coffee scene. Their food is also incredibly delicious, and I had the opportunity to try many of the items on the menu. The Toulouse sausage and Baked Eggs - Un, were my favorite. I was never disappointed with any of my choices. Once you conquer all the steps leading up to the Sacre Coeur, and where the cafe is located, you'll have built up an appetite, which you'll enjoy satisfying here. The staff are very friendly, and mostly foreigners living and working abroad. Jess, who I believe is the manager/boss, is a very cool and gracious host. He's always there, and always busy making sure the customers are seated in a timely manner and that they're happy. Valeria, from Spain, is the staff manager and if you're lucky enough to have her as your server, will charm you with her humour, wit and smile! The cafe is always busy, with mostly tourists visiting Sacre Coeur, which is just beside. I was a solo traveler, and met other travelers here every day I came, which was over a week. The small, cozy and modern environment was a great place to meet other travelers, and people are seated pretty close together, if you are alone or a couple.

Just a 4-minute downhill walk from the Sacré-Cœur Basilica for an Australian-style brunch. It's the perfect place to quickly replenish your caffeine and calorie reserves. We ordered the confit duck leg (my favorite), the pulled pork bun, and the tuna mille-feuille, and all of them were incredibly delicious. The layers of spices and garnishes in each dish made every bite feel incredibly fresh. For dessert, we went for the restaurants’ specialty: a (sinful) combination of deep-fried bread, strawberries, panna cotta, and pistachio sauce The dining atmosphere here is more lively and welcoming. The Paris branch opened in 2016. Looking forward to checking out their other locations in Melbourne (the original store) and Barcelona!

So nice there! Good food and great place, nice view as wel :) there’s only a long waiting time to get inside cause it’s always so busy there. You should probably get there early if u don’t mind waiting outside to get in haha. Anyways, nice experience, they were so friendly and I want to come back there soon🥰

Invigorating atmosphere and whimsical crockery served by genuine smiles adorned in black sweats, denim and buttered leather make for an incredible brunch. Everything is prepared to perfection. Seriously. Don't sleep on this place (although you may want to afterwards).

Cute little place for a perfect Breakfast/Brunch, very friendly staff, good service and vegan option cafe in Paris. Its a mix of European and Aussie kind off food. Went around 10 in the morning and was enough lucky to get a window side seats without any wait. Food was delicious with good coffee and chai with milk. Overall its a good place.

This wasn't our first visit, but still as good as we remembered. We forgot to take the before photos as we couldn't resist tucking straight in! However, the empty plates say it all...delicious I had the duck, Mr B had Burrata, oh and obvs the cheesecake to finish, along with coffee.

We arrived around 12:30 on a Saturday, there was a line but we didn’t wait more than 15 mins. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We order the scramble eggs and the salmon blinis; it was as good as it looked 👌🏻 Note that the inside room is quite loud so you’ll have to focus on the food !

What I did not not like much is the too much toppings on the dishes. Like custard topping on the French toast. Its more of an american style though if you want to try it.

The French toast is to die for ! Impeccable service, loved the decor ! Food is delicious and I love how the kitchen is open and visible from where you are eating - it makes you see how hard everyone is working and that the food is fresh. Would love to come here again

Delicious food. The bread is excellent. I ordered some baked eggs with chorizo and they’re very nice. They use a very tasty cream or mayonnaise on top that I really liked 👌🏻. The service is amazing and the place is very pretty. Also, the coffee is of great taste and their hot chocolate speaks for itself. Just look at this picture. 👏👏

We really liked the eggs benedict as well as the roasted mushrooms! Perfect place for brunch!! The cafe can get pretty crowded so be prepared to wait in line for a seat.

Had the pleasure of eating here twice on my recent trip, both times were outstanding food and service. There can be a wait to be seated but it's worth it. Picture below is of one of the daily specials - French Toast / Fried Brioche / Pain Perdu. The regular one on the menu is just as good.

The place is fabulous! 1. The food is delicious and portions are huge. With a breakfast like this you'll be full until dinner! I've chosen the breakfast blinis with salmon. Amazing! Totally worth the price in my opinion 2. The staff is incredibly friendly. I would go here only to meet them and chat for a bit! Thank you for making every guest feel special. Totally recommend!

Honestly, I had doubts before arriving there for brunch due to high expectations mixed by the fact that the place is very popular so long queue, and many people often means lower quality, ecc. We were four, arrived at 10.30 and waited no more than 10 minutes in the queue. Yes, then there is a bit of a waiting in order to get the order done but it was not unpleasant. Anyway, food was really exceptional! The fried brioche of the week was an absolute pleasure and best dish ever was “mushrooms”. But also the other things we tried (the veggie baked baguette, the continental, the pain ai chocolat and the baguette with jams). All these plates, together with either tea or cappuccino, and we spent 23 euros each, absolutely filled and even cheaper that other brunch menus.

Lovely brunch place on the hills of Montmartre. Can get very crowded so you might need to queue, but my partner and I managed to get a table easily when we went. She's Australian and was delighted to find a lot of winks to her home on the menu, and the guy who runs the place is a straight import from down under too, so she felt right at home. Tasty, friendly, cheerful. Happy to go back any time!

I've searched for "breakfast place" when I was in Paris and this place was the first one to pop. When we've arrived(1:20 pm) we had to wait 3-6 minutes untill the waitress cleaned up a table. As a matter of fact the place is very crowded all the time. (Because they have excellent food) I've ordered sausage with mash potatoes and poached eggs with backed tomatoe slice. And was absolutely amazing!!! I've tried what my friends had and I gotta say man those guys are the best in breakfast. Also they coffe is extremely intense, I didn't even put sugar so I could feel the aroma. They also offer you free water. Can't wait to visit this place in Barcelona!
