We were passing by the nearby road and noticed the restaurant. We were in a day long food hunt in Chittagong city and experienced this restaurant. They are pretty good. Bad things about the place is they don't have parking area, no wheelchair service. The entrance is pretty narrow, barely a bulky person can pass. The foods were delicious. And the stuff members were well behaved.

Aheli is a nice add in the gec restaurant scene. The place is well decorated. People there are well behaved and welcoming. Although the place is just by the busy gec circle. But the noise does not much reach there. They have a versatile menu. But when we ordered they didn't seem to have all the items available. Since it was a bit after corona lock down and things were not still that normal then.. so it was expected that they were not running in full operation. Good thing was that they were running things by maintaining health standard. The food was good. The wash area could be more cleaner. The place is a bit small. But good for small group of people. In total a nice hangout place.

Went there at 12:30 AM, praying that please don't say "We are closed for the night." and luckily they weren't closed. Ordered the Hydrabadi Biriyani. Served after 15 minutes and I immediately dig in as I was very very hungry. Service was nice and didn't thought about taste but I ate everything they served. Should have took some pictures but that thought didn't come to my mind until after I ate all of it. Happy Fooding :)

I am sorry to inform you that they (Al Madina Hotel staff) are mixing beef in gram dal curry and feeding it as chicken. I inquired before ordering if you use beef in chola dal, they replied that they don't use beef. But while eating, I saw the opposite. Which hurt my feelings as a traditionalist. Behaviour of staffs is so rude and quality of foods are so bad and unhealthy. The hotel is too darty and noisy..
