I have been living for two years. Sadly, the playground has not receive the appropiate attention. Now looks more sad than before. The gate hasn’t been fixed since the past 7 months. It remains completely open. The bbq’s haven’t been fixed since I moved (2 years). The reclining pool chairs were broken by some strange people and they haven’t been replaced I think the past 3 months. On the other hand maintenance personal is great and the ladies at the leasing office reception are really kind. The apartments have a great space. The landscaping and pool are in great condition. I have been told that maybe during this year my rent will be 400 dollars more. There’s already people whose renewal went up to 700 dollars more than they used to pay monthly and we don’t see an improvement in the amenities that already mentioned in this community.

Listen if you want the true review look at the 3 star and below! Anyone that rates this place a five star is clearly insane or absolutely blind! This place is horrible; I’m a current resident. I was also blown away when I saw it but after moving in management is horrible. I’ve been here for almost 6 months just about and they havnt pressure washed my building once. There’s a little rat that is in our hallways eating peoples garbage that they leave outside. They charge for pest control on a monthly when it took me almost two months to get TWO wasp nest from in front of my door. I personally had to change my own air vents becasue they were filled with MOLD and they didn’t reimburse me for that expense. Not only that I’ve had work orders for floors and cabinets that are falling apart since I literally moved in and nothing has been done! Yes they hound you down for rent when half of the property is empty. You see a lot of people moving out and not moving in. They charge a horrendous amount for trash when they don’t even have valet service they only have one garbage for the whole community and by the weekend there is bags and trash piled up. Don’t move here. It’s a scam. And yes the office people may seem nice but when you start to call things out it doesn’t become to friendly afterward.

There have been a lot of upgrades. Great focus on preventing people from destroying and partying in our gym. Only thing now we need is grill area and some kind of sun covering over it like the triangle sails and the last most important to me is the gym door. The middle door always opens on it own and is very scary when you’re working out at 4:30 and 5am in the morning. We have not Televisions control or service. The new guy that cleans only pick what he sees. Doesn’t go behind weigh stand where I saw things. Can we address that. I love the fact maintenance address all issue fast about lawn is looking clean. Love the new gym

I was suppose to move in on the 8th of September and I get a call in the afternoon from Natasha stating my apt was not going to be ready but there was 2 other units they could move me to. One was on the 2nd floor and the other on the 3rd. I went to see the ones available and due to my cardiac issue I could not select an apt on the third floor. The one one I had to choose was a second floor apt with no balcony and looked to be a showing model unit. I made the decision to take that unit due to the fact I had furnitures scheduled to be be delivered on the 8th of September which was my move in date and reached img it would accrue a $99 restocking fee. Moving in and encountering some issues with apt , I have expressed my concerns and yet except with the dishwasher that has been replaced I have not been able to get some help resolving the different areas in the apt that needs work. I have gone to the office several time to schedule a time for someone to come to fix the issues but still have nothing. I this point I feel I should involve my lawyer and hope to get a resolution

My move in experience with Marela Apts was excellent! The Leasing Rep Natasha was so helpful, pleasant, and accommodating from the tour of the apartment all the way to the move in day! She really supported me and helped me a lot with my application process, ensuring that it went through! Thank you again, Natasha, for everything!!! The other staff, Leasing Rep, Gloria, Assistant Mgr, Nancy, and Property Mgr Tanya, were all so personable, friendly, and genuinely took an interest in ensuring that I was enjoying my apt. All were very professional and provided excellent customer service. The property manager ensured that all of my kitchen appliances were upgraded as the apt had older models. I was so blown away by that and appreciate her for doing this!! Thank you again, Tanya! The property grounds are well kept, and the community is diverse, peaceful, and quiet. The asthetics of the bldg are very nice as well. The amenities are great, and the location is central to I75, the turnpike, malls, movies, restaurants, etc. I made a great decision moving here, and I would highly recommend this place as a place to live!

Gloria in the leasing office was amazing. I called and called with questions and she made herself available all of the time. There was one time where she was on the phone but Natasha in the leasing office was able to help me immediately. Both women were great!

I am grateful we have valet garbage. We are not in a gated safe community. I was practically hit by someone trying to get out of the guest entrance when they noticed the residence entry was open. Building namely my building can use a housekeeping service at least once a week. More to say I will bring it to the office attention.
