Sadly this place only deserves one star. I was told by the front desk to come before opening time in order obtain a Covid Test. I arrived before opening and upon opening, they only took about 8-10 persons max for testing. The rest of the people who were waiting in line, were told to come back in 2 hours after already waiting HOURS outside. The aren't even considerate of peoples time of waiting to let everyone know that this would be happening. The staff have uncaring characteristics and are not mindful of people's urgent necessities. This place lacks management and is understaffed. The front desk even refused to let me speak to the manager. Please STAY AWAY from this place and go to a different location!

Easy check in and the wait was not long. All the staff member's were friendly and helpful. My 8 year old son needed an xray and they were very patient with him.

If I could I would give them no stars. The front desk was rude and according to their website they say no appointment required but when we came in, she rudely said we only do appointments, I even told her I wasn’t feeling well, and she turned us away. Very unprofessional. I recommend no one come here to get tested or for any other reason.

The team was very patient, efficient, and go above and beyond if something happened in their offices before proceeding any further regular testings. My fever spiked in the office causing me to get nauseous and had to lay in the bed for awhile, and the nice workers work to get me nice cold water and make sure I was back to stable condition to continue the other test. I couldn’t be more grateful for their patience and help.

Kevin Douglas ARNP was so attentive, kind, and compassionate. He took the time to listen to me, understand what I was dealing with, and ordered the appropriate tests. My results came back quickly and he immediately came in with an update. The front desk/check-in was quick and the nurse called me back in less than 10 mins. to triage me. Great experience.

After feeling unwell with a high fever for days I attempted to go to another clinic in the area that had a wait time of over 3 hours. So I then I looked online for another one care center near me and found CareSpot and i’m very glad I did. The entire process was smooth and the staff was extremely nice the entire time. They were very friendly & accommodating with their services. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Great place to go to!

Awesome! Great and clean location! Quick response and they gave me exactly the medication and everything I needed to feel better from the FLU bug going around this winter after giving me the FLU test! I definitely would recommend this place!

Care spot urgent care, my dad and I didn’t wait long at all where the staff let me in fairly quick! They were super friendly and professional! Though I had severe back pain & thought it was something more serious however the nurse practitioner was very sweet and open minded! She explained very well and managed to do another testing just to be safe if my results were clean or you never know if it’s an early stage of something! Thank you so much!

The receptionist didn't read my appointment letter carefully and almost sent me home. I wasted so much time telling her to read the entire paper which stated the reason for my visit. The doctor finally came out and pointed to the reason for my visit.. the receptionist need better training....

I had a disappointing experience at this urgent care facility. Despite their posted hours indicating they were open until 8:00 pm, they refused to see my daughter when we arrived at 7:30 pm. The staff was unhelpful and unsympathetic to our situation. As a result, we had to seek care elsewhere. I would not recommend this facility to anyone in need of urgent medical attention.

Made an appointment online for 5:30pm on a Thursday and no one was in the waiting room except me when I got there. Receptionist was nonchalant but processed me quickly. She was more giddy with the young guys that later came in after me. They won't give prices over the phone so as a FYI I was charged $48.60 with my high deductible healthcare plan which was not too bad for x-rays, to see the doctor, and get a finger splint. After about 10 minutes of waiting I was called in by the nurse/radiologist who asked me the usual health questions and than took x-rays of my finger. After the x-rays, a short wait and the doctor/nurse practitioner shows up to explain the results of the x-rays. I think his name was David Kevin Douglass but he calls himself Kevin. The doctor was the kindest person I have encountered so far in this facility. He was informative and told me how to care for my injury and even included a printout from the internet of information on my hand injury. He also referred me to follow up with a hand specialist to make sure my hand heals correctly and even went so far as to look up two hand doctors to send me to if I needed it. I was hesitant about going to a hand specialist at first but was so glad I did or I would've healed with a deformed finger. Four stars because the staff seem nonchalant like they're just there to work and get paid; no passion for work. The facility itself seems worn. Five stars for the doctor/nurse practitioner who was very kind, informative, and has bedside manner. I left close to 6:30pm and by that time there was one family waiting in the waiting room and one more coming from the parking lot, to give you an idea of the busy level here.

The front desk lady wasn’t even there when I arrived, took her 10 mins to come out. The doctor didn’t even care about my situation. Told her I had a fever but since I didn’t have a thermometer she dismissed it. How can you tell me I didn’t have a fever if you didn’t even ask my symptoms. Never coming here again :) it seems like every urgent care doesn’t care.

I love the attention. The Drs are very accurate with the diagnosis. I went Sunday it’s been less than a week on the treatment and I’m 90% healed!!!

My first time to visit care spot on Thanksgiving Day and they were the only urgent care open at that time, the staff are nice and very accommodating. I called ahead of time and the receptionist scheduled my visit and answered all my questions. The nurse practitioner is great and listened to my concern, the place is very clean. If there is a 10 rating I’d give it a 10.

Great customer service and care from all the staff and doctor. I was a walk-in with my daughter. We did not have a long wait. We were both seen and prescribed medication, which was sent directly to the pharmacy. Overall, we always have a positive experience at the West Pines location.

They get three stars because my first experience was a 5-star experience. I was in and out fast and the PA was fantastic. The second experience this week was the opposite — 1 star. The actual visit was great. The PA was fantastic, the receptionist was great, and I was in and out quickly. The follow up today was the problem. I was put on antibiotics for an infection and told that if it didn’t start to get better in 2 days to call back. It’s no better — the fever is worse and clearly the antibiotics are not working. The receptionist had an attitude this morning when I called and said they don’t get blood work/urinalysis back for 5 days to a week. I need to wait until then and call back if it hasn’t gotten better. What??????? So, if it’s a minor issue that isn’t complicated, I still say they are a great place to go to. But if it is any kind of complex issue, one that requires lab work, or anything that requires follow up — run away, because you’ll just turned away and told to wait “that’s just how long it takes.”

CareSpot was spot on! Staff, techs, PAs and the doctor's were all on point, professional and courteous. I just came in to check before travel and I was treated with kindness, understanding and genuine concern. CareSpot is our go to spot for non urgent care!

My therapist, Christa, was very knowledgeable on how best to start me on the road to recovery after my wrist surgery. Although the stretching and exercises weren’t easy, she let me know I had to be on the road to recovery as soon as possible for the best outcome. She gave me the confidence to push forward towards a good recovery!

CareSpot has been my go to for Sports physicals for the kids for a few years with no hiccups, but I think it is worth mentioning when people go above and beyond. This evening I took one of my boys in near closing to beat the weekend traffic, and because I had already filled in paperwork for him a few days before (went in but had an emergency and had to leave before they were seen). So essentially I thought it would be a quick in and out. Unfortunately it turned out I needed to fill in a whole different set of forms but they were still good enough to see him, despite the time and having already starting closing procedures. Nonetheless they were very pleasant and professional about the whole thing, and I was not made to feel like a bother by any of the four caregivers we interacted with, which I can tell you is not something one can expect everywhere. We were out in 20 mins with all the paperwork included. I am definitely not recommending you roll up to the urgent care at 15 mins to closing time, and I certainly never have before this, but I can assure that whenever you come you will be well taken care of here. Thanks for your service to our community.

I called prior before arriving and asked questions on a sports physical I needed for my grandson. I've been there many times for it in the past. I arrived, and there no issues at first. They stuck us in the medical room for over 50 mins waiting while the place was actually empty no patients only 1 other and ourselves. I walked out of the room and noticed they were chatting with personal stuff on their own the staff. I came back in, and 15.min later, the ARPN came in and asked questions and then asked me if I was the mom. I am the grandmother who always comes to Bring him as my daughter works and doesn't get home until after 7 pm. . The APN nurse said I needed a letter from mom in order for her to see him. I've had a letter on file and after waiting 2 hrs they didn't want to clear him especially since the place wasn't even full at all. They didn't even want to talk to the mom on the phone . My daughter has to drive from Miami to Broward in traffic to get to carespot just so she can say ok. And as she was leaving me with my grandson they said no she needed to fill out a letter stating it was ok. After she was already there. It's absurd especially when that ANP never even checked him out just signed the forms. No check ups whatsoever. Never will we return their again and will survey this all over.

The staff here are wonderful, they are very understanding and helped me out more than they needed too. They are super friendly helpful and the process was fast and easy. There’s no other place I’d Recommend than HERE!!!

I've used CareSpot twice during the last 3 years or so. I think it is better (easier and faster) than going to a hospital ER to get a medical opinion. One time they recommended that I go to an ER and this last time to see my primary physician who referred me to the Express Service at Cleveland Clinic who referred me to a neurologist whose earliest appointment was June 29th . . . therefore I would just need to go to the ER if the excruciating pain persisted . . . so I went to a chiropractor who managed to mitigate the pain somewhat. The moral of the story is that CareSpot is a good place to get initial diagnosis (and maybe some treatment) for medical issues at a reasonable price. The service was reasonably fast and good.

I don't know who is training the staff at this location. The front desk is extremely unprofessional and rude. One of them deliberately rolled there eyes as if they were too bothered to do there job. Talking on the phone was more important while eating. The lack of patient care is ABSOLUTELY horrendous. Even the PA had an attitude and barely explained my lab results or what was to come next. I would NEVER recommend anyone going there. What an unpleasant experience.

  • 5/5 Celi C. 2 years ago on Google
The staff is very friendly and attentive. I had some lab work that was sent out and provider followed up once results were in. I also had a mix up with my pharmacy and carespot representative followed up with the provider and also with pharmacy. They then followed up with me to advise of the resolution. A win!

I was there yesterday with my daughter to get a COVID-19 tested, and the lady in the front desk told us to come back today in morning at 8:00am to be put in a list and they would call me us. It's 12:02 pm and no one has call. I ask her why can they see us, there's only 2 to 3 people here now. She just said they were very busy, But only 2 to 3 people were there at 8:00am in the morning. I can't believe this at a time of need.

Went to get covid test and while they advised there was no guarantee I would be seen due to influx of walk-ins and appointments, they did everything possible and I was able to get myself and my daughter tested. Excellent service during this hectic time.

Went to Carespot with excruciating sciatic pain. The NP Leveille was amazing. She listened to me and treated my pain. I felt better one hour after being home and could walk after three days of suffering. The clinic was very busy but I was taken care of quickly. I am so grateful that I went there as I did not want to go to ER. I would highly recommend this urgent care. Thank you!!

This office is requiring face masks for everyone and I'm happy they reinforce it. It's part of educating the population. Loved it! The respect and caring patient care starts at the receptionist desk, Ms Candida Lopez was fantastic at accommodating everyone. Lazaro was very professional over the phone when I called for appointment. The nursing staff and the PA where communicative and knowledgeable. What else can you ask for? My first place to go for medical needs

I've been twice in the last two weeks once for my son and once for myself. The staff are always nice. Kevin is a great nurse practitioner. He gets you out quick but he's very thorough and takes the time to explain things to you.

Wait time was extremely long and the amount of customers waiting was minimal. They appear to move very slow. The doctor was nice. The nurse was cordial. I didn’t feel very confident in the skill set. I would more than likely not return unless I have no other option.

Great experience! I needed a drug test for my employer and I didn’t need to make an apportionment. I was able to walk in and they took me in quickly. The lady at the desk was super friendly. Would recommend!

I was treated with respect and professionalism. Take care spot Steph was polite and knowledgeable. The waiting area was clean, safe and comforting. I waited approximately 20 minutes before I was seen by a provider in which was knowledgeable and caring.

First time coming here, had an appointment and was still seeing almost an hour later. Went in for a rapid COVID test that they said results would be in 15 mins and were going to be emailed to me since I couldn’t wait any longer there. Never sent me that email and after calling 3 times, I finally got the email with the results the following day so I couldn’t go to work because that’s why I needed those results in a timely manner. I will not be returning to this location.

I gave 2 stars because I have been to this location several times and it’s always hit or miss on the service. This past Wednesday I set an appointment for 9:15am and said reason for coming in was a positive COVID but feels like I’m getting strep throat. I checked in at 9:10am and sat there for over an hour! The kicker is that another guy came in after me and said he had an appointment at 9:30, and they called him back before me! What is the point of the appointment if they don’t follow the order? I asked the lady behind the desk why that was, but she just said “They’re going to call your name.” I know they are going to eventually call me name, the point is WHEN? After waiting for an hour I finally got a room where I waited another 45 minutes before the doctor came in. Then when he came he acted scared of me and didn’t even give me a strep test. 5 minutes in and out, it was so dumb! Unfortunately, I e had more bad experiences than good ones at this location.
