I’ll start by saying the best part of this hotel is the breakfast. Lots of options. The rooms are dated but clean so not the worst I’ve seen… now is it worth 200+ a night? Questionable at best. Other comments I read mentioned how welcoming the staff was. When I checked in on may 13th the two people working the front desk were anything but welcoming. The person that attended to me was cold and not welcoming but the poor person next to me was having a much worse time. The employee charged her over 100 dollars more than what she was told it was going to be then when she questioned it the employee was extremely rude. Both of the front desk staff had some real attitude towards us. It was a terrible first impression. It is highly unlikely I’ll ever be back.

Yesterday I checked in tired and ready to enjoy my stay we have been reoccurring guest for 10 years ! check in was one of the worst I have ever experienced paige (the bald head lady ) was the one on desk and made me feel not welcome and like I was a problem . We had my 3 kids and dog in tow and I guess when I booked it glitched and said 2 adults only . She told me the room I booked would be the last time and I wouldn't be welcome back . After a rude check in and making me cry after I left to room she did call to see if it was ok in room I replied a quick yes to get off the phone with the women who made me feel like I was garbage and really made it so I never want to use the property again even tho it's our fav spot when we come to town . The room was a bit dusty but other then that clean and ready to accommodate us . The pool area is amazing and clean as usual . Breakfast this morning I was greated by the most lovely lady kind caring and compassionate I explained my situation and she got me to go to front desk and the lovely young lady working helped us so we could go back up feed my children breakfast both ladies were sympathetic and apologized and said that this not how guest are treated ! These two ladies deserve a raise for being amazing staff !! We left this morning with full bellies and a smile ! I really don't think I'll come back if Paige is working there and won't recommend my friends or family to book there either!

Our stay here has been great, the rooms are nice and clean, the breakfast is amazing and with lots of options, staff is very friendly and helpful. The only problem is that out of the 4 days my husband and I stayed here, we didn't get room service, not even once. We did put the sign out our door saying we wanted the room to be cleaned, but it didn't happen. Very disappointing.

My wife and I absolutely love this place. The court yard is equipped with multiple barbecues, patio furniture and a large swimming pool. We bring our puppy and he loves the large grassy space. The breakfast is unreal with lots of variety - it’s the best breakfast I’ve ever had at any hotel. The staff are super friendly and always go above and beyond. The beds are comfy and the rooms are very clean. We love this place and always recommend to everyone. We will be back soon.

Not the best Best Western, but certainly not worst hotel we've stayed at. Overall, it was a pretty clean facility and breakfast was good: was a bit sad there was no bacon, but my arteries thanked them and besides, the waffles were great. The hotel is walking distance to the lake and the Dragon Boat Restaurant, as well as a ton of other spots. It's a short drive from the north downtown tourist area but with the bonus of south side peace and quiet. The only real gripe we had was that our room was not ready at the 1600h check in time and we couldn't get into it until 1700h. Normally wouldn't have been too much of an issue except we were exhausted after a very long rushed drive to get to a hospice for a difficult goodbye.

All the staff I met or ran into were great! One of them even turned off the music in the pool area when I asked. Rooms are cozy. The pool and hot tub was a great way to relax and unwind before bed. Some deer showed up to relax outside the pool too, so you know it's a great place. If you're in Penticton this is a great place to stay!

Very nice service today! Just excellent. Dec 23. Getting old and dated though as time passes. Room clean but getting old and same goes for tvs in room. Loved the welcome waters etc and the cookies! Time will tell on the breakfast and hot tub in am but hoping for good.

Went to the tlc/ Shaggy concert. It was my first time there. The venue was great. The sound was awesome. The only thing I suggest is making a bigger smoking area... the area you couldn't even get to... it was more like a mosh pit... but besides that, it was great.

The property is dated and in need of a reno. The location is good with close proximity to the beach. The hotel does not have handicapped accessibility to the second floor (50% of rooms are stair only access). The hotel does not advertise the lack of accessibility so be prepared to be assigned a 2nd floor room on arrival. The front desk staff did not seem at all concerned when advised we needed accessible access.

My husband built the superstore there and had a lot of people stay there. Service was always great. We decided to do a little get away and was disappointed on a few matters. We met “Tomas” and he was all about customer service. He resolved our concerns. Best Western is very lucky to have him on the team. I suggest you try and bring more staff like him on board. Such a lovely man.

Excellent location with an awesome breakfast (open till 10:30!!!). Super close to skaha, about a 3 minute drive with lots of places a short drive away. Nice family friendly environment with an outdoor and indoor pool, hot tub, lots of bbqs for your use, tables, green space, small playground and even a projector for movie night every night. The breakfast being open till 10:30 is amazing, it’s not a game changer in regards to what is offered, it’s pretty standard but being open that late gives you a chance to sleep in a bit! The only downgrade is for the rooms, they are slightly dated and the beds (double beds) need replacing. I would still give this place 5/5 because of the totality of the place and all it offers.

We were there this weekend. We found that the management had paid attention to the previous reviews. Our room was updated .. and the only negative was there was no place for soap/ shampoo in the shower that we were told would happen soon. I had the privilege of being the only one in the indoor pool.. early in the morning …before the heat built up. It was soooo warm.. (not a brave one for cool water!) The front desk attendants were all courteous and helpful. The breakfasts were very good…and equally the service. We feel that it is expensive but also realize this is July. Happy with our stay.

THANK YOU for the work servile experience- for a hotel to make you feel welcomed like family and a long time friend is far and few. Your courtyard is beautiful from morning till night. The owners were always aware of individual needs and always ensuring things that needed doing were done - and by themselves. The check in ladies were amazing friendly and fun! And your breakfast lady - WOW! That’s exactly who we need to greet us every morning! Breakfast was phenomenal/ from kids to seniors, health conscience to gotta try everything you made sure the mist finicky would be happy with the choices. Best pillow’s ever!!! We do enjoyed the pool the movie and the hospitality. Thank you for looking after us!

Great location, less than 1km from Skaha Lake (approx 12 minute walk). Very nice rooms with housekeeping that will actually clean your room. Unlike every other hotel that will clean the room maybe if you ask repeatedly. Beautiful green space with bbq, two pools (indoors and outdoor) excellent hot tub, lots of lounges. It also has laundry facilities for guests. I think the room had been recently remodeled because everything looked new. Good air conditioning and very comfortable mattress. Included was a full hot breakfast, including fresh fruit, waffles, cereal, baked goods. The best we had on our vacation. Would stay here again. 100%

Should have been given a main floor room when requested. Charged far too much for a small dog. Won't be staying there again. Getting old and run down a bit. Breakfast was good. Response to this review after was a lie! There were many empty rooms on the first floor, even asked the maids! Most likely will not stay here again after many stays here in the past. Almost every year but now a big fat lie? really guys.

We had a great stay. Our room was very clean and all the staff we bumped in to around the property were very friendly and welcoming. The full breakfast was amazing! Wilma who was working both days we had breakfast was so great and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Dated hotel that was so clean and well looked after. 100% would come stay here again. The customer service was beyond expectation. We used the pool and hot tub that were both heated. The breakfast was good with lots of options. We liked staying on first floor and being able to unload tools out of truck and into room for safe keeping.

Despite calling twice before booking to ensure we had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit on the first floor because my grandmother is in a wheelchair, the hotel messed up our reservation and we spent Christmas (4 of us plus a dog) in a tiny standard sized hotel room on the ground floor. At least it had a stove which was what we needed. As well, the employee who made the reservation assured me there were notes on my reservation indicating our requirements. I have had a slight adjustment on the fees but was charged for a dog in the room in night 1 but didn’t not check in until day 2 due weather/travel issues. The GM has not reached out like I was told they would, therefore 2 stars. Don’t take reservations if you can’t accommodate the requests.

Terrible customer service. Booked one month in advance and also did the day before pre check in. Arrived when I said I would. Room not ready. We'll call you when it is. After 2 1/2 hours - no call. I called them. Room is ready now. Why didn't you call me? We're too busy. What a joke! Will not stay here again!

They advertise a hot tub. It is permanently closed. They don't say a word. Just give you a poster printed with hot tub closed! Surprised on quality of room considering they say they are a best western! Fruit flies in room too...Im really surprised 😯

Great location which was easy to access from the highway. Close to several amenities and most importantly walking distance to Skaha lake park! We had a ground level suite with full kitchen (#105) which had a big fridge and comfortable sitting area. Dual doors allow access to your car and also access to the center courtyard. The center area had plenty of casual seating in grass and is shaded by some mature trees. Excellent pool area which was very clean with plenty of loungers. We used the outdoor BBQ's which included tools and such for our evening meals. The courtyard was a perfect place to hang out with our friends after a log day exploring the area. The included breakfast was a real highlight with so much food, waffles, fruit, charcuterie, pastries, cereals, berry toppings, whipped cream and REAL bacon not paper thin "readycrisp"! Excellent staff who were friendly and attentive. We will be coming back next year and would recommend to others.

Rooms are clean. We'll kept up with the vintage I remember as a child. One indoor and one out door pool. FANTASTIC breakfast 7 to 10 am. Strongly recommend it.

Front counter staff was not friendly and rude. Granted they were busy but that is not an excuse for poor customer service. The floor to the room was WET…. Freshly shampooed old carpets still smelled like wet dog and were gross. Penticton is a beautiful town with lots of options for overnight accommodations…. Definitely go somewhere else.

The woman at front desk check-in was amazing. Friendly and helpful, she made sure to sign us up for the reward program and saved us 300.00 on our five night stay. Room was perfect for families. Clean room and amazing staff, we had a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The trees on the property were amazing, it had two pools and the staff were amazing! I just wish the hot tub was working. It was all boarded up! The rooms were spacious and clean.
