I love staying at this hotel. Every month I'll book a room for 2 nights The rooms are always clean bright, bathrooms newly renovated. The staff are friendly. The location is right at the beach with all your amenities within walking distance. I've never had a single issue with this hotel . Would give it 6/5 stars.

I was double charged on my credit card for one night's stay and when I rung them to discuss they lied saying it was only a pre-authorization charge and it would be refunded... it hasn't been and I've asked Visa to investigate. It was quite run down as well and I wouldn't ever think of staying there again just based on the state of the room, despite the gorgeous location. I had to wait for someone to show up to even check in for 30 minutes at 5pm when I was only allowed to check in after 4pm - shocking!!! Nobody answered the phone when I called the number posted on the door in that time either!

Nice spot, friendly staff. We were able to grab the keys during the night/early morning so we could rest after a night of driving and be ready for an event in the afternoon! Room was pretty decent as well, mini fridge and keurig machine with a few pods to use. They have e scooters outside that it looks like you can rent. Thank you staff at Slumber Lodge for the great stay! 😊

Not great. For a 100% beach front place, I would expect the hot water in the room to work properly and the electrical outlets to be functioning properly.

I stay at alot of hotels. This one tops the list. 2 pools, hot tub, sauna and only steps from popular beach. This resort was clean and staff were very friendly

So unprofessional to us that we left a day early and then I find an extra charge on my credit card that was not authorized. We did no damage and left the place clean so no reason other than they are ripping us off. They have not answered us about refunding the extra charges.

This time I tried to book, The Managment is not able to cater to business travellers looking for a quick restful sleep. It’s better to go further up the road where they take a deposit. I don’t think people understand how far goods come and how expensive it is to get to the Okanagan and how the roads are from the USA :( The Korean Soup and sushi Restaraunt around the corner is 5 stars amazing!!

I loved this motel. The location was great, right on the water. The rooms seemed good, they seemed clean and not too outdated. All the staff I encountered were all really nice and friendly. The only thing I would say that wasn’t super amazing was the parking. There’s not enough parking to park close to your room, we had to park behind the building which is okay, just didn’t feel the most safe. But over all it was a great stay

Location is great! The best part of our stay. Room was clean. Could hear resident above us at 3am going to the toilet., then flushing. Not very sound proof. Small Keurig machine, which is fine, but only 1 regular coffee pod. Staff provided a couple more, when asked. Tiny fridge which was sufficient, but freezer had an inch of frost, so no room to store anything. Not enough outlets, multiple cords in 1 . Very limited parking, and spots were very narrow, we parked in lot across the alley.

We booked online and when we got there they upgraded us to a nice suite. Awesome service

This is not a super fancy motel but the location makes it a REAL gem! Love the kitchenette; it had everything we needed for breakfast, lunch and snacks. Obviously it's right across the street from the lake, but it's quieter and less crowded because of it's location. VERY relaxing! They get 5/5 stars for the most comfortable bed I've ever slept🤩 The staff are very chatty, friendly and welcoming! While this was the first time I've stayed there it was my daughter's fourth time booking with them. She recommends it to ALL her friends who plan to stay in Penticton! I'd highly recommend it to my friends now as well especially if they have kids. If I still had a young family I'd definitely book here. In addition to easy access to the lake they also have a very nice indoor swimming pool that's open year round! That's aways a nice bonus 🙂 And you can walk to a whole slew of restaurants, bars and stores in a matter of minutes!

Awesome location right by lake and to great small shops downtown.The lady in the front office was great.The room was clean,tidy and warm.I was only in the room briefly but took a good look because of previous reviews.Turned out my event got cancelled so I didn't need the room anymore.They promptly refunded my money,which they really didn't have to do. Great business and nice friendly service. My event is rescheduled for January and I will be staying there for sure. Thanks Jack

Stayed here for 4 days recently. Rooms were small but very clean and functional. Laundry +, ice +, off season ++++ for the first 2 nights we seemed to be the only guests. This could also be due to the first big snowfall of the year happening at the same time. Would stay again though. Very polite and nice staff.

Good front desk service, great location, clean rooms however they are dated. Beds are comfortable and pricing is okay.

Great location, I would definitely stay here again. Close to the beach, and right in the downtown area. Rooms are clean. Parking is a little bit tight. Definitely recommend!

Good location we were able to easily walk to all our destinations from here and I was actually quite surprised by the room size and cleanly. Would definitely book here again.

We stayed for 3 nights when we got there the front desk lady was very nice and help change our room to a bigger one witch was awesome! But once we got into the room it went down hill from there! We went into the room and there was blood on the sheets and the cupboards were filthy with crumbs all throughout them! And the dishes were totaly disgusting there was lipstick on multiple glasses all the coffee cups had dried coffee inside them, there were bowls in the cupboard that were full of dried yogurt! It just shows the cleaning people don't check 😒 and I tried to contact the manager multiple times and he wouldn't get back to me! Very disappointing!

Awesome location that’s right across from the beach and the peach shape kiosk. Room was clean, but dingy. You can tell they are trying to class it up with the beddings. No comment on the A/C because we didn’t use it. Tho the unit in our room looked like someone kicked it off the wall. Washroom could use a deep cleaning. The shower was the only major issue preventing us from returning. The water temperature was difficult to adjust and there’d be sudden bursts of scalding or freezing water whenever another guest (in another room!) flushes their toilet or use water in their room. If you are staying here, I’d advise you to wake up super duper early to shower - while other guests are still sleeping!
