Avoid this hotel like the plague. We have stayed there many times over the years, it was dated then and its even more so now. Under the previous management, ie Miss Mauds, at least you could combine a stay with an excellent buffet breakfast and dinner meal next door. Now that the restaurant is closed all that it can offer is a rather rundown, extremely dated hotel with no redeeming features. Most of the hotel requires you drag your luggage up and down steep staircases in order to get to your allotted room, definitely not ideal for the elderly. Our last stay there under the new management resulted in two TV channels, a faulty bed lamp, faulty curtains and absolutely no interest from the management to do anything about it. As we were checking out I was asked by the manager if I would recommend the hotel to other people, I replied “No, not unless there were some significant improvements to the hotel, to which I was immediately told, “Well that’s your opinion” and he walk off. Make of that what you will.

the worst customer support i have ever experienced. the owners have no shame in stealing your money. the hotel smells stale almost like there is mould embedded in the walls. not to mention the fumes from the carpark across the road fill your room. i wouldnt stay here again even for free. would only recommend this place if you are desperate or a shady individual.

The overall review of 4.4 feels incredibly overgenerous for this hotel. The best I can say is that it's definitely adequate for the price. The room was very clean and the bed was good, which is probably the most important concern. Would not choose to stay there again, unless destitute.

On the website it is stated that due to parking in public carpark you will receive a discount on said parking. What they don't tell you is that you have to stay in the carpark for 24hrs otherwise the discount does not apply. Parking is $3 an hr... minimal channels on the TV don't work and amenities are ok.

Awesome facilities! Extremely professional and courteous staff. I was on travel for pleasure from the US and stayed here for 3 nights. Everything was very clean, neat, and very well kept. Very quiet and peaceful. Will absolutely be staying here again in my travels to Perth.

Cannot really fault for the price I paid, as booked about 5 months in advance and got early good deal at $126 per night for a superior queen room. Bed is comfy and clean and pillows excellent. Bathroom is better than expected, all very clean and looks recently refurbished, but the bath / shower is a little cramped and bit slippery so be careful. Some noise from local bar on Saturday night which let down review a bit. True the place is older and maybe not as fashionable as other places, but they are over double the price. So if you're looking for a place to sleep and see the city with no add on thrills then this is pretty good. Convenient to the CBD and just across road from free red CAT bus to explore the city.

Booked via AirBnb Not worth the money. Rooms are much smaller than photos depict. Could be cleaner too. Lamp was broken and balcony was filthy. Service was friendly and location is fantastic. Wont be staying again

Great and affordable hotel in a prime location in the CBD. Security deposit is $200, but you can pay in cash. This was returned to us immediately when we checked out. Highly recommend cash if you want to avoid the delay in getting your deposit back. Rooms are good with plenty of storage space. They are a bit small if you go standard, and the shower was frustrating at times with getting the correct temperature and handles falling off. The beds were also quite hard, but very big. Paper thin walls and creaky floors, but guests were respectful and quiet. Room was cleaned every day, but it did feel wasteful as the shampoo, conditioner, and soap was thrown out and replaced each time even though they weren't empty/finished. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

$200 was taken when I checked in on 13/11 and as of today 29/11 the hotel is still holding onto the funds and have not released them. Now they are not replying to my emails. Was also told the prices had gone up due to the Coldplay concert. But of a scam to me as I left the morning the concert was on so wasn’t there for it. Don’t recommend, go elsewhere where you get prompt service. It’s now 1/12, was emailed by hotel manager Tina Wang 48 hours ago saying it was going to be released by now, still waiting. Not only a thief but now a liar. Do not stay at this hotel, there is nothing European about it, false advertising.

Nice Hotel, I actually really enjoyed my one night stay here. Staff were understanding and did there job well, one of the male staff even helped carry some luggage. The hotel was clean, and I appreciated the vibe. The single bed room was nice, clean and had all the facilities I needed. Although there wasn’t a bin in my room, but I found a workaround and for me, it won’t knock any points off the rating. The hotel is close to a lot of restaurants and shops, so finding food shouldn’t be an issue. I didn’t get to try the restaurant at the hotel. Overall I really enjoyed staying there. Plus the wifi worked well :)

Quirky decor but clean and quiet. Great central location. Restaurant below was closed but there are plenty of restaurants and cafes around.

Great hotel; very clean, great location (everything in the city is within walking distance), quick check in & out. They even allow us to store our big luggages after we check out Great place to live in

Bad attitude on staff. Why would you do customer service and sitting in-front of front house with grumpy and helpless staff. The lady who was working on Sunday afternoon absolutely hopeless. What impressions will be on customers when you act like that when customers walks in from door. Hope you will learn something and thats not how you do customer service.

Great place. Would have given it 5 stars as a lovely charceterful place, with one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. I deducted the one star as they use Single Use Plastic for their free bathroom cosmetics, Australia is the No.1 user in the world of SUP, would be good to see something reusable.

Stayed in the queen room and it was amazing for the price! Had a period accident on the bed and the cleaner was so nice about it. Located within easy walking distance of the entire city amd Northbridge. Bed was super comfy too.

The hotel has a lovely old world ambience, is very clean, close to train station and very good value for money. A precious find. I can not thank the the night staff enough. They were were exceptionally friendly and helpful in assisting me with finding my lost phone at midnight. Will definitely return.

Quite a quirky but fun hotel on Murray Street. Close to the many bars, clubs and restaurants in that area of the city. The rooms were a little tired but that adds to the charm I feel. The fun comes while navigating the narrow corridors to find your room, especially after a few drinks! In all seriousness though. They do need to put up more signs directions back to reception from the extremities and also signs to emergency exits. The fun stops being 'fun' in an emergency! This feedback has been offered to staff already. While I'd stay there again, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to people with impaired mobility, especially wheelchair users.

The cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Min and all front desk staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and at home! Great location too! It was so clean that I thought I hadn’t shut the shower door because it was so clear! Highly recommend a stay here!

Attentive and friendly staff along with a good location, wonderful restaurant and unique theme. The 1911 building has been brought up to modern standards with wifi, a/c and numerous room amenities in a small well planed area. The included breakfast is buffet style with amazing variety including, tropical/seasonal fruits and on site prepared pastries. If nothing else, stay here because it is a restful and one of a kind experience.

Erupeon hotel Perth is ripping people off, claw the payment and don't refund it, no shame, terrible on behalf of bookings reputation with loyal customers for over 6 years.

Good city stay and affordable. Antique look to the areas and rooms, however could do with a small renovation - for example, the shower has low pressure and the carpet finishes could be fixed too!

We booked a room with twin single beds. Beds were very comfy and had sufficient blankets to keep warm. The room was clean and tidy but smelt musty Bathroom was very clean and tidy Unfortunately we could only get channels 7,9,10 and SBS on the tv. Maybe an upgrade to digital tv’s so digital channels can be watched?

The hotel is small but very clean, room service was very detailed and the receptionist are friendly. Christie was very resourceful and helpful. Will definitely recommend this one to friends.

Fantastic hotel and value for money is second to none. The rooms are clean beautiful and bed is great. The European styling is awesome and the staff are lovely and so helpful. Definitely pay extra for the breakfast as it's excellent and has a lot of variety. A couple of minor negatives though stop me from giving full 5 stars. Shower pressure is a bit weak. Also TV is limited to local channels and reception isn't clear. However these are minor issues and it still a great place to stay.

Awful business. Current management are lucky this place had a good reputation before they took over because the actual rating is closer to 3.8 over the last couple years instead of 4.4. I booked a twin room for two people needing two beds (naturally) and when we walk in we see a single queen bed. They say the original room is unavailable due to a plumbing issue and they're fully booked out. No notification of any kind was provided. Without any time or alternatives one of us had to use the room and the other had to take an Uber home. In the following two weeks I made SIX calls to ask about the significant discount that was offered as compensation that night. All I got back each time was ineptitude, disinterest, and a complete lack of understanding of customer service. The full run around as if they were intentionally taking the piss out of me. If my complaint to the department of commerce does nothing then congrats to the European Hotel on essentially scamming me out of my money.

Not worth the money, room was extremely small, felt like a prison cell and was very dated. Shower was tiny and full of mold. Place looked like the hotel from the shining and was in dire need of decorating. They show lovely pictures to entice you to book but the place we stayed was a million miles from how it once looked.
