Best. British. Food. Since. England! I went to London and Canterbury in 2014 and The Brickhouse Run brought back those delicious memories! The taste, the accents, the views, the atmosphere was simply perfect to a truly English dinner! Highly recommend starting with the Truffle Parmesan Chips and then have the Fish & Chips dinner! You won't go home hungry and you will be completely satisfied with your palette!

What a delightful place to eat and drink. I was visiting from out of town and staying with a local friend. When we entered we were told there would be a half hour wait for a table so we gave them our phone number and went to take a walk downtown and grab a beer at another local, at a local brewery. Once we got the call we went back and were seated right away for our dinner. They're simple yet abundant menu included about a half dozen appetizers, another half dozen or so sandwiches and about 10 entrees to choose from. They also had a separate menu with specials of the day and special choices of daily beers and wine specials. My friend and I both decided to have their fried oysters for an appetizer and they were perfectly cooked and were delicious. We also each chose the flat iron steak, served with a blue cheese sauce. Our steaks were perfectly cooked to our choosing and the sauce went perfectly with the steak. Frites were served, along with a slightly peppery mixed bean saute. We chose a bottle of Malbec to have with our meal which was very reasonably priced and was delicious. We finished our meal with a cherry creme brulee. The service was outstanding The prices were very reasonable and it was a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy a long and leisurely dinner. I will certainly be back.

Edit: The food I've had is tasty but the serving sizes are inconsistent and menu changes frequently. The burgers and fries are excellent but the fish and chips is more like chips and pees with a side of fish

My wife and I had an amazing experience at The Brickhouse Run tonight. I had been wanting to give them a try for quite some time and I'm glad we finally went. Outward appearances seemed on track with the traditional British pub that The Brickhouse Run is modeled after. When you enter, that vibe carries throughout the interior as well. It's not a huge restaurant, as you'd expect from the Old Towne Petersburg historic buildings. Half of the restaurant area is dedicated to the pub/bar and the other half for the dining room. Hostess and waitstaff were very friendly and attentive during our entire experience. The menu had plenty to choose from with traditional British pub food like Bangers and Mash, Fish and Chips, etc. as well as interesting seasonal fare like Duck a l'orange and Acorn Squash with optional protein add-ons. We started with the Sweet Potato Perogies which were essentially a savory sweet potato and cheese "mini pie", less like traditional perogies but definitely tasty. I then elected for the Duck a l'orange while my wife chose the Petersburger. I tried a bite of her burger which featured the typical lettuce, cheddar, and bacon but also a unique onion jam and pub sauce that really set it apart. It was delicious. My Duck a l'orange was perfectly cooked and amazingly tender and surrounded by a great sweet potato puree and a delectable helping of Brussels sprouts. The experience was really amazing. If there were anything worth acknowledging as a downfall, it would have to be that the dining room was chilly. We ultimately chalked that up to the older building though. All in all, great date night spot and we'll certainly be back.

Excellent food & atmosphere, good service and drink selection. Had a great dinner, at one point my partner joked that Soma must be in the kitchen with all these seasonal ingredients or together so creatively, the butternut squash carpacio inspired that comment I think. The steak was like butter, the fresh herbs were amazing, the rockfish was perfect. Excellent meal overall. The only thing we weren't a fan of was the smores bread pudding, I love bread pudding so that was a bit disappointing but otherwise the meal was excellent. (They also kindly offered to switch it with another dessert but we declined.)

The Petersburg Burger had high recommendations, and Brickhouse delivered. Our group of 7 enjoyed dinner and a few desserts. Quaint location settled in a historic zone. Parking is limited so choose wisely.

I’ve never tasted a bad bite at this quaint little pub! The atmosphere is always friendly and inviting, and you can always tell that the servers enjoy what they do. I was so happy to see that Scotch Eggs were on the menu, as I didn’t recall seeing them when I last visited. They were delicious and the mustard was the best! The Black & Blue Chips were also amazing! The Bleu Cheese fondue on them is a real WINNER! They also serve local Richlands ice cream which is a real treat!

Atmosphere was good - comfort cozy. The local vodka was on point. They had a bit if an issue with my food allergy - my tablemates brussel sprouts were charred - mine were maybe sauteed but still hard. The halibut was perfectly crisp but a little dry. The risotto was the rock star on my plate. I think they were concerned (which is a great thing) and went a little too far in cautiousness - but everyone else cleaned their plate.

The food was exceptional. I ordered the quail and really liked it. There is also a good beer selection. My three colleagues also praised the food. Since the four of us ordered different entrees, your chances of getting something really good are really high. The staff is super friendly. Only "negative", this is a small place so you may have to wait a bit before being seated. But it is worth the wait.

We stopped @ Brickhouse run on our trip to S. Carolina and also on the way home.....Outstanding food, cocktails. beer 🍺 and reserve wine for foodies and winos like ourselves. The chef is putting together fantastic combinations!!!! I cannot say enough praise about the entire staff and ownership....we need an excuse to go south from Pa and return!!!!

Had dinner here with a few coworkers after a conference. The restaurant has a great vibe and ambience. You can tell it's a popular place because there was a line outside before it opened! There is plenty of parking available nearby. The restroom was small and clean. Service was very slow so I am taking stars away for that. That said, my meal was delicious! Overall, a great little place to dine!

Great Irish Pub, we sat at the bar and service was a little slow but otherwise we had a great expirence. I would recommend getting a table if you decide to order food.

A small work group met for drinks and dinner. It was very crowded on a Wednesday night. We waited for 30 or so minutes to get a table. The prices were reasonable but the portions were small. The price was reasonable but the food was nothing special. It is British themed so I would have expected the fish and chips to be amazing but it just wasn’t. And it came with frozen peas but they were not mashed. If they are going to go part of the way then go all the way and smash those suckers.

Food was great, service excellent. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful (I'm terrible with names) Music wasn't too loud and the atmosphere made it easy to talk. Definitely going back. Had the short rib, eggs, and my friend had the burger. Very pleased with all of it. The only thing I wasn't a fan of were the deserts. Should have just had coffee instead.

Great burger! Great servers! Bartender ruined it for me! It’s a shame she works at a very nice establishment because when I asked her for a drink before they closed she slammed the glasses and ingredients down on the bar and made me and my guests very uncomfortable! I guess she doesn’t care that patrons are coming in for a nice experience. If she doesn’t want to work why is she there? Not the first time this has happened and have heard from others they’ve had similar experiences!

We really wanted to love this place but just couldn't. Service was average, nothing special. The atmosphere is cozy but very loud. My mixed drink was well made, so kudos to the bartender. Not one person in our party liked their food. Everything was insanely salty. The burger was very salty. Fries, salty. Oysters, salty. Even the dessert was oddly salty. And I typically like salt! Everyone commented on their food being too salty to enjoy. I don't think any of us will go back anytime soon. Hopefully it was just an off night when we visited.

Delicious food. Awesome staff... (with the exception of that surly woman who sits in the window on her laptop. Is she the owner? GM? Kudos to literally everyone else who works there for being friendlier than she is.) Service is always cordial and we've never ordered anything that wasn't really tasty. We love eating here.

When I dine at Brickhouse Run, I know I have been to a delightful place! The food is absolutely amazing, wonderful service, and small-town atmosphere. A perfect place for drinks and appetizers or celebrating a special occasion! Try it out! You won't regret it!!

Shepard's pie is a must and so was the fish and chips. For a unique twist, ask for the fries poutine. While it seemed like a weird recommendation from the waitress, it didn't disappoint. I would definitely order both meals again

The best restaurant in Petersburg, hands down. Chef Drew's menu is always changing and never disappoints while his wife, Joanna's taste as a sommelier is superb. Great food, excellent drinks, and the best atmosphere in Petersburg. Perfect for dates or business meetings.

Very cozy and authentic British style pub. The fish and chips was awesome and the draft selection was tasty! Very friendly server who introduced me to the ridiculously delicious chocolate pot dessert.

Had dinner here on trip to SC from PA, based on Google reviews. Great experience, so we made sure to go there again on way back home. Many locals, but we were treated like family. Food is great, including specials and regular menu. Desserts are extraordinary. Amy at the bar is the best, a joy to be around and it's amazing to watch her work.

Super cute place. There's no waiting area on a busy night and there were some rude customers at the bar but the food was great. Once we were sat, it was a really nice dinner with my wife and I. The star off is for not having a place to stand when waiting.

Staff was super nice. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. The food was great!! I had the butchers cut ribeye with mashed potatoes and greenbeans and the steak was cooked to perfection. My husband had the bangers and mash and it was also delish. We had one minor hiccup when I didn't get my greenbeans when my meal came out but our waitress quickly ran to the kitchen and brought them out. We can't wait to go back! Such a little hidden gem in old town.

Great shepherds pie, a must. The atmosphere, staff, food and beer can’t be beat. I am glad I stopped.
