We
book
hotel
rooms
for
our
employees
who
are
traveling
on
a
frequent
basis
and
often
pick
hotels
with
airport
shuttles
as
they
are
needed
to
get
our
employees
to
a
nearby
airport.
This
was
the
case
with
Extend
a
Suites
in
Phoenix.
When
our
employee,
upon
checking
in,
told
the
front
desk
clerk
that
he
needed
a
shuttle
the
following
morning,
he
was
told
that
there
wasn't
one
available
and
to
call
Uber
or
Lyft
(who
both
wanted
$42.00
to
go
less
than
2
miles).
In
the
meantime,
he
saw
the
shuttle
being
used
and
called
down
to
the
front
desk
and
was
told
that
they
had
a
staffing
issue
and
that
he
would
NOT
be
taken
to
the
airport
the
next
morning.
He
pressed
them
given
that
they
advertised
that
one
of
their
amenities
was
a
shuttle
service
and
that
they
should
oblige
him.
The
clerk
became
rude
and
words
were
exchanged,
all
to
no
avail.
When
asked
for
a
partial
refund,
things
got
worse.
Of
course
they
won't
compensate
for
a
service
that
is
no
doubt
built
into
their
room
rate
thereby
costing
us
an
additional
charge
to
get
him
to
the
airport.
While
the
facility
may
be
nice,
their
service
and
attitude
toward
customers
is
not
good
to
say
the
least.
Other
than
needing
a
place
to
sleep,
don't
expect
much
more
from
this
property.
