Entire hotel experience was great! Awesome breakfast, which is served 7:30-10:30am on the weekends (kind of late). Luis who worked the bar was so great to chat with! Dude deserves a huge raise for how he treats guests! Overall, this was one of my favorite embassy suites stays!

I can’t speak highly enough of the team at this particular Embassy Suites! I didn’t write down everyone but Gary, Alex, and Stephen were amazing! 111 nights in a row, and yes, you read that right, 111 nights in a row. Long story but this hotel made our stay great. Thank you all so much for the support.

It's one of my best stays ever. Irene greeted me with a smile. She made sure I received the necessary information to make my stay more enjoyable. The breakfast was very convenient and the evening mixers were enjoyable. The indoor pool was nice and clean. I also had a beautiful view of the mountains.

Had some really good nights here. Breakfast is top notch. Fitness center is small and the hotel big, so be early to get your treadmill. WiFi is sometimes a little big buggy and the mobile reception in the building is poor.

Good hotel. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The morning breakfast wasn’t as good as other Embassy Suites I’ve stayed at. Furthermore, the parking was 28.00 per night! Pretty excessive. Would stay here again ONLY if I’m not parking a car in their garage.

This hotel is in close location to the airport (about a fifteen minute drive) and downtown (took us about 12 minutes to get to Footprint Center). The plaza area outside of the hotel is well decorated and the surrounding area felt relatively safe. The hotel does have an attached self-parking garage (although not free). The lobby and main areas of the hotel were well kept and clean. Our room was the perfect size for two adults, with a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom, and large windows with a decent view. We were also provided a small welcome package in the room with waters and a few snacks. The main lobby has a restaurant and a mini convenience store. They had a large selection for free breakfast in the morning and even had a made-to-order option which was great. The indoor pool is a decent size and had perfect water temperature. We were disappointed that there was no hot-tub/spa. Unfortunately, after swimming, we realized that there was no hot water in our sink/shower and so we were not able to clean off . However, the front desk were very friendly and immediately started working to resolve the issue (the entire hotel was impacted by the lack of hot water). Anyway, when we went to check out, the front desk clerk was quick to give us a discount due to the inconvenience which I thought was incredibly thoughtful! My only grievance is that they charge $28 a day to utilize the self-parking garage. This is an astronomical parking fee per day, especially for those who stay for multiple nights. If they are going to charge at all, it should just be a one time fee. However, I would highly recommend this location for anyone staying in Phoenix and looking for something that's ideal location wise, affordable, and comfortable!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in Phoenix, and I must say that my experience was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the cleanliness and well-maintained condition of the rooms. The attention to detail was evident, and it was clear that the staff took great pride in providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for their guests. Speaking of the staff, I found them to be incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure that I had everything I needed and were always available to answer any questions I had. It was refreshing to see such a high level of customer service, and it really made my stay that much more enjoyable. One of the highlights of my stay was the bar, where I enjoyed some truly delicious food. The menu was varied and offered a great selection of options, from classic comfort food to more gourmet dishes. The quality of the food was excellent, and I found myself looking forward to returning to the bar each night to see what new culinary delights were on offer. Finally, the location of the hotel was truly fantastic. It was situated in a great area of Phoenix, close to many local attractions and amenities. Whether I was looking to explore the city or just relax and unwind, there was always something to do or see in the vicinity. Overall, my experience at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the clean and comfortable rooms to the friendly staff and delicious food, everything was top-notch. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Phoenix

Spent one night here and the lobby is beautiful. Very spacious lobby. The rooms are a bit outdated and dark. There isn’t enough lighting from the lamps. The sheets were stained and there was some sort of splatter on the furniture which was not cleaned. I paid a little over $200 for one night and I would expect it to be cleaner. However, Beds are very comfortable, rooms are quiet even though our room was located next to the street, loved the small balcony, and the breakfast was delicious.

Firstly, the hotel is incredibly nice. I loved the breakfast and free bacon. What a great experience. The staff was accommodating and very friendly and the location is exceptional. There were two issues that surprised me since it was so expensive - the bed was very uncomfortable and I didn’t have hot water in the mornings. The bed was strange, most embassy suites have top of the line luxury style beds. These ones were obnoxiously firm and I couldn’t lay in one position for very long without it hurting. It needs a pad or something to help give it some cushion. The hot water problem was puzzling. I’ve only ever had this happen to me at a econolodge. I had to put off showering a couple of times due to there being no hot water, which given that I’m here for work that’s less than optimal. I would come back, but I’d be hesitant to spend too much. Dropping another star off the review after seeing my receipt. They never applied my corporate parking rate to my bill so the hotel became exponentially higher in cost.

Parking is a bit of a hassle... should have dedicated hotel parking and an entry code for your phone. Room is tight, bathroom is cramped. But the front desk was VERY helpful. Good location and better value than those fully downtown.

First time staying at this hotel and its location was perfect as I was in town for my father's surgery at the Banner University Hospital on 10th and McDowell. Chose the Park and Stay rate with the room. While I was initially a little nervous with the area when booking, that was no longer a concern once on site. The parking garage was directly next to the hotel, secure, clean, well lit, and even a security guard on duty and walking the garage; I had no worry about my rental car while there. Check-in and kitchen staff were friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I didn't need any service during my four-night stay as my room was very clean and well stocked. I was even offered late check-out as I had to stay my fourth night away from the hotel in Flagstaff with a Monday morning return to Phoenix and the hotel. The staff was sincere, empathetic, and sensitive to the events during my visit. I will definitely stay again at this hotel, and you should have no hesitation about doing the same. Thank you Hilton/Embassy Suites.

Very nice stay in Phoenix, AZ. We stayed three days, the front desk staff were very nice and willing to help. The hotel lobby is very spacious and clean. Our room was clean and roomy, with a very comfortable bed with fresh linen and a 50" TV. The complimentary breakfast has limited offerings, but okay for a decent breakfast, it's included with your stay, so they do a good job. I used online reservation system and it was easy to use. We did not use the pool or the fitness center, so no comment on those things. As for daily room cleaning, your on your own, which was okay with us, we usually don't request bed changing and we did request clean towels on a daily basis, the hotel was okay with that. We will definitely return to this Embassy Suites when we're in Phoenix.

My wife and I stayed at this property one night this week as we were attending to multiple Dr appointments here in the Valley (and live in Northern AZ). I had originally booked a room at the Embassy Suites Biltmore, but the recent reviews had me concerned so I changed the reservation to this location and quite happy with the decision. The check-in was painless and our room was cool, clean, spacious and comfortable. Hot water and water pressure were plentiful and we were on the 11th floor. The breakfast in the am was over the top with so many selections and everything fresh and hot. Service during breakfast was prompt and friendly. This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in over the last year and I travel a lot. One thing to be aware of is there is a $28 parking charge, but pay it you don't want to be on the street. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone needing one in the midtown area!

This place is gorgeous. The rooms are great and the people are fantastic. BUT, if you're looking for quiet, this isn't the place. We were on the 4th floor, and the traffic noise from the streets below was VERY loud. We ended up leaving extremely early due to being woken up repeatedly.

Great for the price! Room was nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff are really nice. The Manager's Happy Hour drinks were horrible though. Truly well liquor as I had to pitch it. Considering it was free, well.... I would definitely recommend staying. Close to downtown and only a few dollars for a car service to downtown. Only negative is there is only one way in and out and the garage is not attached. So, you have to park in front, unload your bags to your room, come back down then park your car in the adjacent parking garage.

Easy check in and check out. Free breakfast and evening drinks make it worth it! The food at the restaurant was delicious and affordable. The only issue we had was with the pool. The water was so cold it was almost unbearable. The drainage around the pool wasn't working so the floors and bathrooms were flooded with pool water, which seems like a health hazzard, and the pool area was always out of clean towels. It was an extra busy weekend for them, lots of kids there for sports tournaments, so maybe that was the issue with the towels.

Embassy Suites is always a great value. The room was incredible. The pool was great. The staff was very helpful. The only negative is the food options in the area. They kind of suck, unless you really like Subway and Panera Bread. This isn't the fault of the hotel though. And the restaurant inside the hotel is pretty good, but it isn't open for lunch.

Beautiful hotel, in a convenient area in Phoenix. Love that there is a complimentary drink included with your room stay at their bar. The included breakfast was great, which had an omelet station, a definite win! The room was spacious and comfortable for two people. We were able to entertain a few friends in our sitting room part of the suite, which was nice. One weird thing though... there were two of these obnoxiously small chairs, one in the sitting room and the other in the bedroom, that no grown adult could sit in comfortably. We had a very skinny person who tried sitting in it and his hips barely fit. He can fit into children's car seats (don't ask) and he even thought it was small. Also, we were excited about a pool at this hotel, and it turned out to be an indoor pool. Who wants to visit Phoenix and go to an indoor pool? Not me! We ended up going to the Marriott down the street, since our friend was staying there and we went to their pool for the day, super nice, BTW!

One of the best Embassy suites I have stayed at. Rooms were clean, but housekeeping can be improved because there was a smell in the bathroom when we entered the room. Otherwise, everything was really nice. Free drinks at the bar and very nice breakfast 👌🏽

I am deeply troubled by the unsatisfactory experience I had during my recent stay at Embassy Suites in Phoenix. Upon entering my dated room, I was dismayed to discover a pair of men's underwear, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. Furthermore, the presence of dust and trash under the bed, along with stained upholstery and insects, was highly disconcerting. Despite bringing these concerns to the attention of the front desk, their response did not reflect the gravity of the situation, leaving me feeling unheard and disregarded. To add to my disappointment, as a loyal Hilton Honors member, I was surprised to find an unexpected charge for water on my bill, which had not been communicated during my stay. I sincerely hope that the hotel management takes swift action to rectify these issues and uphold the high standards expected of the Embassy Suites brand.

I decided to spend the extra cash on this hotel to make sure my family would enjoy visiting Phoenix, Arizona for the first time. Unfortunately, we did not feel welcomed as either Californians and/or because we are Latino/Hispanic. The worst of it was that we were given a room in which the bedsheets had not been washed, how do I know? We found a receipt within the sheets that was clearly not ours. Drainage was slow, and the room smelled of mildew. Lastly, upon further inspection (checking for bedbugs), we found a large amount of blood on one of the bottom mattresses, as if someone had been murdered in our room. My children were terrified! I assume we were given this room as a reminder that we were not welcomed. :(

We (my family of 5 and I) stayed here for a 6 day trip. First of all the hotel as a whole is marvelous. Huge, well taken care of, friendly staff etc. we had adjoining rooms. We checked into the first room because the second want ready. Well turns out the first one wasn’t either. Super gross experience coming into that room with 4 kids (one 2). All of the surfaces were greasy. Toilet was dirty, and beds were slept in. Had to wait another 30 minutes for the room(s) to get clean. The “reception” snack in the evening should be called a handful of Chex mix, and some carrots with ranch dressing.🤣 Was super disappointed when I saw that it was what it was. Breakfast is fresh, the staff are attentive. Same menu every day made it kinda undesirable for us. No Hot tub, and the pool is tiny for being such a high capacity hotel. Wasn’t offered anything in compensation for the original dirty room. Spent 2200$ on rooms. I’d think management would have reached out about the unpleasant beginning of our stay. Parking is 28$ a day. Honestly probably won’t repeat. We prefer The Drury chain of hotels. When they screw up they take care of you. I’ll include the pictures when I take care of my other reviews shortly.

It is a nice clean hotel in the center of the city. I would stay here again, I did NOT give it 5 stars because it seemed they only offer complimentary coffee wen the hotel is full. ALSO, they seem to be saving money by offering small cups. I realized it when they put out the regular Hilton logo quality cups for a Hilton inspection, but next day they went back to the small cups. I get it, trying to save money, but allow customers to get coffee in the mornings specially when they stay there for 45 days on work.

Great hotel and restaurant inside.... Cris, waiter for the restaurant is over the top.... great great service...however I am ashamed of the Daily LARGE AMOUNT of Styrofoam waste they have and produce for breakfast...It is unreal...I wish they will be a little more environmental friendly... this is why they only get a 3*

Bathroom was extremely small. Only towel hook was broken along with the toilet paper holder. Front desk said it would be fixed but it wasn't . Windows don't even crack and no fan in the bathroom so it was a bit stuffy. Definatly too small to be called a suite.Breakfast and drinks were great. Everything was very clean.

Great room and great hotel. If your a business traveler the TV channel selection is fine other than that TV is fair. Air conditioner sounded like I was abort the star ship Enterprise, worried it would wake us up at night but it didn't. Definitely would stay again

I love a clean hotel with great service and this one fit the bill perfectly! During the pandemic, they weren't offering daily cleaning of the room during my stay but it was ok because anything I needed was brought up immediately with just a text to the front desk. Need extra towels? No problem! Within 5 minutes or less, they were brought right up! The cooked-to-order breakfast was still being served, thank goodness! It's one of my favorite things about Embassy Suites! They packaged everything to go so I could easily bring it to my room or eat in the dining area. They also offered clean trays and bags to carry my breakfast items. The room was very roomy and clean. The bed wasn't that comfortable to me but I know beds are a very personal preference so I would never ding them for that. It was new and didn't have any springs poking through or lumps so that's a good thing! I have stayed in a lot of hotels, almost all Hilton brand due to their excellent rewards program and I have to say, this was one of the best.

Had a great experience. The service was amazing from start to finish. We will be back for sure. We had a plumbing issue that requires a call two days in a row. The gentleman from maintenance came promptly. Although he was able to take care of the issue he wanted to be sure our stay didn’t include another call so we worked with h The team to find another room. The guys at the bar/restaurant were absolutely wonderful. We truly had a great time. You should check them out.

Great stay. The only thing that needs improvement is the cleaning of the pool. There were some guess that do not realize that they need to take a quick shower before getting in the pool, however that is not the hotel’s fault. The pool needs to be clean regularly. Other than that, great stay. I give it a 4 instead of a 5. FYI!! Parking was $28 a day. That needs to come down a little especially if you are staying more than 2 days. I still give it 4 stars.

Staff have always been friendly and helpful here. Our room was clean and comfortable and in a good location. Complimentary drinks in the evening are a nice touch. We didn’t wake up in time for breakfast this time, but last time we stayed it was good. This is our favorite hotel in the area!

My flight was delayed so I had to get a hotel and I'm very glad I chose this one. It is by far the cleanest hotel I have stayed at and the rate was reasonable as well. They have complimentary drinks and snacks during your stay down at the bar. The bartender gentleman was very nice. I highly recommend this place.

Nothing but good to say about this hotel. Rooms were clean and awesome, restaurant has great food and service. Love the manager's reception but seems a bit extreme when you are there for appetizers and dinner. Disappointed that we could not enjoy the morning breakfast as we had a early flight but they were accommodating in this a few items to go.

A great location in downtown Phoenix. Stayed here to attend a celebration and an Arizona Diamondbacks game. 2 minute walk to the the Metro Rail. The room was clean and comfortable. The lobby, spacious, clean and organized. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great breakfast.

One of the best hotels in the PHX downtown area. I have chosen them for my business and leisure travels. Clean rooms, breakfast is good. You can choose the breakfast buffet or cooked to order omelet. Staff is friendly and the environment is welcoming. They also offer 2 free drinks (I’m not a drinker but for those who do)The only con is paid parking, make sure to ask if it is included in your rate. It usually is not. Otherwise great place to stay.

Great place to stay. Staff is friendly, professional, and courteous. Rooms were very clean as were the common areas of the hotel. Each time I left and reentered the hotel I was greeted by desk clerks. It was a very quiet stay as well.

Convenient location for where I needed to go. Hotel staff were friendly, attentive and professional. The room was large, clean and appropriately furnished. The bed has to be the most comfortable hotel bed I've had in a while. Food and drinks in the lobby were good, and breakfast in the morning was good. Next time I'm in Phoenix I'll be sure to return here.

I asked for a room close to the elevator as I had to frequent the room in between meeting breaks, my room happened to be at the end of the hallway. This was challenging, and as I talked to peers who were staying here at the same time for the same conference, their rooms were right next to the elevator. Secondly, I thought the breakfast was sub-par for a hotel with your rates. The danish/bread/bagel options were dry and seemingly not fresh. The made-to-order omelet bar was great! Finally, the sound system in our conference rooms was horrid. The speakers would either not work or blast obnoxious noise. We ended up having to work with no microphone in a large room which also was not ideal. Again, with a hotel of your reputation, I would have thought more was possible here.

  • 4/5 Cecile W. 1 year ago on Google
Our stay was wonderful! Free complementary drinks each day, fantastic breakfast, indoor pool, kind staff and rooms were clean and spacious. You can ride on the metro (1 minute walk) from the hotel all the way to the airport. Love it!
