About 15-20 riches in the span of 4 days. Front desk gave me Raid to spray myself. Apparently they didn’t let the manager know cause when I spoke to the manager he said he would have moved me to a different room. Meanwhile this whole time staff who handed me raid kept saying they were fully booked. Also Note: I booked through a 3rd party website so they couldn’t offer refunds just a free day of stay at that particular hotel location. I’m from out of state and this was useless. I made the most out of my vacation. This stay was a nightmare.

But once we were allowed to cross the police caution line to check into the hotel hours after our check-in time by the way the hotel clerk was extremely rude and I understand there was a lot going on but I personally did not cause it so no reason to be rude to me. The room was nice and clean and large for its size. So if you don't mind an occasional shooting that evacuated the whole hotel not a bad place🤷

DO NOT STAY HERE. BY ALL MEANS DO NOT STAY HERE. My wife and I booked this place for a week long vacation as it was reasonable prices. Day 1: walked into the room discussed by the smell. Turned on TV to find it didn’t work. Called front desk to ask what’s up and was pretty much told they can’t do anything. Called customer service which was a joke. Day 2: tv worked but started noticing the room was pretty gross. Bathroom has writing carved into paint, bathtub has stains on side, and water damage below it. Day 3: I finally hear from guest relations on the corporate end, best they are willing to do is give me a free night at any location good for one year. Pretty disappointing as I did pay pretty good money for this place expecting better, I will never use this hotel chain again. Day 4: they allow pets cool! Until the pet is directly above you barking and running around waking us up out of a dead sleep. Day 5: final night as we’re leaving 3 days early cause we can’t take this place anymore. The dog and people above us are making so much noise that it made me Jump out of bed at 10pm. Constantly listening to their dog bark and run back and forth, called front desk and they said they will take care of it. 10:15pm still banging around… here’s my best review if you made it this far. Do not stay at one of these places. They are so run down. The pictures don’t look anything like the real thing. I wish I wasn’t posting this as our vacation was cut short from the terrible experience we had at the hotel (no other places available for the last 2 nights)… hope this helps anyone wanting to stay here.. and maybe make them make some much needed changes…

Wow, I am accustomed to way better room accommodations than what I got at the Red Roof Inn in Phoenix, AZ.!! Highly upset 😡 with RCI for selecting this hotel!! The room had no table and chair to sit at, TV was so small I missed it! 😒 The TV is on a very dark piece of wood on the wall and the dresser is in front of the wood. So it blended with the wood making it impossible to see until you turn on the TV with the remote! I couldn't use my laptop with no Wi-Fi, no luggage stand to sit luggage on, didn't know I would be sharing a hotel with people's pets, very strong smell throughout the hotel AND parking was full at night! ☹ Not a great area to stay/be in!!! 😤 I would have left the same day I arrived, however, RCI used some of my time share points (non refundable) towards booking the hotel. Glad to be back in Cali.😃

Quick check in process. I booked through expedia, there was a $50 required deposit (that I wasn’t aware of/ fyi). Room was spacious and clean. AC worked well. Pillows could be a bit fluffier, they were a bit more on the flat side. Very hot shower, loved that! There were kids running and playing in the hallway around 11 pm. Thankfully, security came quickly and handled the situation and I was able to sleep uninterrupted through the night. I would stay here again!

Hubby was staying at this place for months cause of work nearby. When I visited I had trouble getting into Hotel cause Nights Auditor was SO mean, unfriendly, attacks with you with words not wanting to help you check in. Idk where she got trained for Customer Services. Customer Services a big thing for me or else I don't return and that why I do Google surveys.

We stayed here one night and it was ok besides the pool. We are from Wisconsin and we looked up a hotel with a HEATED pool and it says they have one but no the pool is not heated but the rooms are decent and the service is decent otherwise, also when you swipe your card for the venting machine it says it’s a $1.50 but really it’s $10.20 for one thing so be careful. I personally wouldn’t recommend this place because for the pool, venting machines or everything over all.

The place isn't awful. Unbeatable pricing, friendly staff, and bustling location. It was the smell. The room stunk so terribly bad. I got things to mask it. Nope. Nothing covers the mildewy smell mixed with sour cleaners. At the front desk it says guests are not allowed to clean their rooms. Call for service. They must clean them. So I couldn't clean it. If it's the same cleaners what's the point of saying anything? Other than the smell and loud sound of their ac unit. Everything els was very nice. For the location and price. All the way around. 3.5. The smell if fixed id give it a 4.0.

The service I received was horrible and the front desk staff is beyond rude. If they hate their jobs that bad they should just quit. DO NOT come to this location with your family, especially your children. There were suspicious people smoking horrible smelling things. Plus as you see the responses of the manager are so unprofessional and rude. Save your time, money and sanity don't stay here.

I went to check in and even though I already pre-paid they told me there were no rooms available. I was stranded at midnight with no where to go. They ladies at the front desk were rude and argued with each other instead of being apologetic and professional. They told me they had six more guests coming to check in that night and would have to tell them all that there was no room (but yet they were not calling anyone to warn them). Never again Red Roof.

Rented a room for my sister left my ID at home the guy at the desk told me I was not aloud to even step foot in the room or he would call the police. I know that all guest have to be registered but to be told I can't stepbrother in the room is new to me. Its in a Bad neighborhood and the fact that I could not step foot in the room sister did not want to stay there refused to give me a refund front desk worker was rude and unprofessional xeavier I think was his name only worker with hair like Krusty the clown. I travel two to three times a month for work and stay at Redroof will never stay there again

I called and told this hotel my flight was delayed and I would be late checking in. Then my connecting flight got delayed also. Once I got to the hotel finally around 3 am, my reservation was canceled. I didn't realize they left a voicemail because I was still on the plane. I was left trying to find somewhere to stay at 3 am. I never felt so unsafe and they never refunded me for the room.

The room was clean but the only thing that wasn’t great about the room was there wasn’t a microwave of mini fridge unless I upgraded to the deluxe. And I already paid almost $500 Im sorry but the basics like that should be in every room and i was here for 6 nights. Front desk was great.

Booked a room for my niece and I to stay in after a long night of traveling and arrive to no one at all at the front desk for longer than ten minutes. We called the front desk several times, tried to call for someone , but no one showed up. Finally, after at least 10 minutes a women dottled her way in and seemed annoyed that we were there to check in not welcoming us at all. She asked for our reservation name and IDs and I had explained that I was above 21 and the reservation was in my name, but that my niece did not have her ID with her, and I would not be able to check into the hotel that I booked for us both, despite the room being in my name and no information about this supposed policy that all guests in the room must be 21 on the booking website. Worst customer treatment and experience I’ve had in a long time. Would not recommend. There was also someone literally GRILLING in the parking lot at 2AM on the STREET. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I had a brief 2 night stay here and couldn't have enjoyed it more. We were having things done to our home and needed a place to stay. Turned out to be a great choice. Would recommend it to anyone who needs lodging. And it is close to home.

The front desk clerk was very friendly when we checked in. Our room was a little small, but clean. The air conditioning was frosty, and the room also was furnished with a comfortable king size bed, a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, and a safe. The pool was open, but pretty murky. This motel is 100 percent smoke free inside. There are designated smoking areas away from the building. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

I have ESA letters for my 2 cats. The power went out tonight. My apartment is 114F but I was illegally denied a room because they have a one "pet" policy. I would have had to leave one here in the heat. No effort was even remotely made to understand the situation or show empathy.

I absolutely am thankful for Jessica and the lady who works in the evenings sometimes. Absolutely the best customer service and it made for a pleasant stay. Thank-you to you two ladies. You're amazing and they should have more employees like them!! Thank-you

Recommend. Clean hotel, clean rooms, quite, nice front desk agents. The only lady there isn’t nice, was asked if possible for early check in, replies to me no, 3 pm, but the guy the day before said that we can call couple hours before and ask, and I know it works that way, (the next day couple was checked in at 10 am) same as with the pool, my husband asked if we can go to the pool earlier then 10, she just showed a sign to look back behind her back, where it says pool opens at 10. So you should change your sing in the pool then. As well. Other then that the rest are doing a great job.

We stayed there for about 2 days. Super friendly staff. Rooms are clean and beds are clean not one stain on our beds besides the burn hole in our sheets but they were still washed and cleaned. Shower was hot! ice tray was good kept my drinks cold. You can hear kids running and stomping the hallways but honestly wasnt a big deal at all. overall i think it was great stay.

For the location and price, I expected more from the room and friendlier service. They are no smoking rooms but literally was being hotboxed with nicotine from the room next door. Absolutely zero usb plugs is weird nowadays.

Housekeeping was amazing. Always friendly and put up with our constant requests for new towels, sheets, blankets, etc, requests. Management needs a serious adjustment though. We were evicted on a Sat morning after being there a week because we didn't declare our pets. We walked in with our pets when we checked in! How did we not "declare" them? We were given 15 min to evacuate or be charged another night but not allowed to stay. Seriously?

We booked ahead for 2 nights because one of us was having cancer surgery and we needed to stay in case of complications. Check in was ok, but when we got to the room we discovered it didn't have a mini fridge or microwave. We asked the front desk person and she said we didn't rate those amenities because we didn't pay premium rates. When we booked ahead we took the Red Roof Inn rewards offer to get our room at a discounted rate. It seems that if you take the rewards discount you lose your amenities, not much of a reward. We went to the hospital for the surgery and when our family member was released we went back to the hotel to our room and our key cards didn't work. Our family member who had a catheter had to wait until we got the key cards straightened out. When we complained about it to the front desk they gave no excuse they just ignored us. When we finally got settled back into the room our t.v. didn't work so when we called the front desk to tell them they told us they would flip a switch to get it working??? Needless to say I will never stay at that hotel again.

If I could I'd give 0 stars. I booked the room ahead of time, and after I drove 12 hrs come to find out they only allow 1 pet...no where on the website does it say limited 1 pet. And then after I mentioned I might leave one pet with a friend but then said that friend had to come to the hotel to sign a waiver...ok what? I have never heard that and when I ask to cancel my reservation, no refund was issued so Red Roof will no longer have my business.

Maids are polite and you get your room cleaned every day. Most of all quite place but just lost one of their employees Jeff who worked their for 12 years and new people came in and bought over and ALL he wanted was 2$ raise so he's be at 18$, not to say he kept this place from drugs and safe. They do have a security guard which are good. But all in all feed HOTEL. Fry's food store across the street and discount move right behind hotel and good Italian restaurant behind THEIR.

This is hands down the nicest red roof we've stayed in. Smells clean, room is in really great shape, better tv than any of the other red roofs. Front desk workers are polite and respectful. As far as location goes it's a bit interesting to get to but the area is nice and quiet.

  • 3/5 Mario B. 6 months ago on Google
We stayed here recently after a game. The location is convenient, but not in the best neighborhood. Just off the freeway however the rooms were fairly quiet other than the people upstairs walking heavily. The motel itself is dated and could use a good cleaning. The rooms were large and clean.

I 😘 ve this location. I won't stay anywhere else but this location. Like others right now, I fell behind as a result of Covid, so, I've had to stay at this location when I've needed to. I feel safe and I love the management and staff here. The housekeepers are so sweet and very hard workers..not to mention, very attentive. They all keep smiles on their faces and seem to really love working at this location. Thanks!! Jackie Miller

Called ahead over the phone to reserve a room and asked for early check in and they said we’ve got you covered and then said the front desk will be hard on you for getting in early. Before I even gave my name upon check in the lady refused my service until 1pm instead of my 12 check in. I went in again at 1230 and they didn’t even say my room was ready yet and it was. Never go here, they only work for the paycheck

My parents stayed here one night and it was the worst experience! Rude customer service!! Told my mom to move her phone away since she had it near the counter. Older woman asked for EVERYONES IDs even though my parents are older! Booking was for 4 adults (parents 55+ daughter and husband)!. Never heard of front desk asking for everyones ids and making copies of them!! They felt strongly discriminated against! A white folk women came after us and she gave her no issues what so ever!! Don’t dare stop here even if its late night!! Room stunk like dog!

Stayed here 2 times recently but on different visits. It wasn't bad, hotel itself looks dated but the rooms is a bit more updated. Location isn't the best area. Front desk is okay. S 3 stars it is. No wow factor.

  • 1/5 Erika D. 1 year ago on Google
Stay at your own risk!!!! I would rate this a zero if I could. From having our car side swiped, in the middle of the night, and the hotel's cameras surprisingly not working during the hours of the incident, to the drug activities and gun shots, 2 nights in a row, I do not recommend. Don't advertise your 24hr surveillance when there is none!!!!

I am not sure how this hotel received three stars. It is dated and run down, room was horrible, tv did not work, the mattress and pillows were hard as the floor. I really wanted to see the mattress but they have them covered with locks so you couldn't unzip it. I went to cancel week long reservation after checking in however they refused to cancel the first night. Overwhelming smell of pot on 3rd floor! My room had no desk, no chair just big empty space with painted water damage in the corner. The window was silicone shut and so stained you couldn't see out of it. And to boot, they charged $140 per night. Needed drivers license for everyone in the room which was only me and my sister and I booked online and prepaid but when you get there they charge you a $50 deposit not disclosed online.

I booked online for weeks, and then I extended my stay for 3 extra days. The day my extension started, I had to abruptly end my stay. I was scheduled to check back in at 11am. I went to the front desk and told the front desk I was leaving. He said okay and I told him my room number. I tried to get a refund thru priceline, but they said I had to talk to the hotel. So I did, and the guy told me he remembered me and talked about my situation with the manager. He said they were willing to refund my money, so I called priceline again. Priceline called them again. Red roof told them I had never checked out and had used my reservation. They never had any paperwork saying I left. I was in New mexico during those days. From the 27th of January to the 30th. Honesty in this situation would've been appreciated. Instead of petty lies and lack of communication between front desk and management. I'm sure that front desk person never checked me out. I had a bad lock. I repeatedly told them to change the bad battery in the lock. After work, I had to go to the front desk to have them manually open my door. I asked the front desk for days on end to address it to the manager. Nothing ever happened until I called the manager myself. So, that lack of communication most likely ruined my chances of ever getting my 402.00 refund for a room I never used for 3 days

Location is right off the highway if needed, but not a safe area. The pictures are deceiving, rooms are old and worn. The hallways are dark and creepy. The whole place reeked of Marijuana on all floors, when it was mentioned to the front desk, his comment was that he can't really identify the source, but he seemed impaired as well. We had a group check in and a couple others reported their doors didn't close all the way. It did not seem like a safe place to stay, it was very uncomfortable to be in, lots of car traffic in the parking lot. We didn't stay the night because of how bad it was, not worth it unless you're really in a bind.

When booking, I looked at the reviews and photos and thought it would be okay. Upon arrival, a fire truck and 2 police cars were parked in the front with their lights on and remained there for a couple hours. When checking in, the man at the front was rude and did not want to be there. We go upstairs and small a funny smell.. our room was even worse. The room didn’t look anything like the pictures. That smell never went away and in addition to that, we had no tv and they did not care to try to help or fix it. If it wasn’t 117 outside, it would’ve been nicer to stay in our truck. I highly do not recommend this hotel at all.

Rooms were nothing special. Pictures are beautiful this hotel not so much. No breakfast. Coffee was ok no creamer. Hopefully bad weekend after the races that were in town the day before. Very disappointed with this place.

Booked a room for an employee through the corporate website. The website had me setup the reservation to pay through a 3rd party for company payment and asked for an email. No email was ever sent and no payment option was ever provided. The employee arrives at the hotel and I am expecting to have to pay over the phone at this point. The person at the desk refuses to take any form of remote payment or payment over the phone despite the reservation being setup for 3rd party payment and instead insists that the only way my employee can pay for his company paid room is to pay with his own money and submit for reimbursement. I book hotel rooms for employees every day and have never had any trouble with remote payment, this place is a headache and we will avoid it in the future.

Do not recommend, the place has gone downhill and smells of all kinds of smoke. There were several dogs in many rooms barking- did not feel comfortable to get a good night sleep. Disappointed ☹️
