Traveling with a Dog and so we chose this brand hotel, the reviews looked ok so have it a shot. Not really familiar with the area but it was close to the airport too. Neighborhood is extremely bad. Transients, homeless people and very sketchy. There was a van with its license plates covered casing the parking lot and took pictures of our car with trailer. Spoke with the front desk, they were so rude and basically said it’s not their problem. People camping In their car smoking in the parking lot, would have left if we weren’t exhausted from driving for 15 hours. Wish I could get a refund.

Pros: High ceilings. Very clean. Nicely remodeled AC and fridge are nice and cold. Limited, but decent breakfast and excellent coffee. No bugs. Cons: Only minor things I can think of is the tiny water stains on tub, a couple of chips on the paint in spots, the bathroom fan is super loud and I wish the guest laundry took credit cards instead of coins. Overall an excellent and safe hotel in a rough area. Inside is secure, but keep no valuables in your car, park as close as you can to your room and set your alarm.

We stayed 4 nights over spring break, me and my two sons who are 6, and we used points from our Rewards so it was a free stay for us. It was clean, we didn't ask for anything special and they still cleaned every day for us and replaced what we had used. The pool area was nice, and the breakfast was good also. It was hot food, options for cold cereal and to-go foods, milk, juice, and coffee, and the food was different every day. The employees were efficient and polite, and I couldn't have asked for a more comfortable bed. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was nice. There was a fan, AC, and a very cold mini-fridge, in addition to the other amenities they list. I might have balked at the price because I tend to go with less-expensive options, but I felt it was worth it and would try to stay here again if we revisit Phoenix. Plus, its near enough to everything that getting around to different areas of town was really easy. It definitely made our vacation more enjoyable staying here!

Every time I go to Phoenix I would stay here but I'm no longer doing it as my last stay I got charged for damages I didn't create. I've stayed in rooms that would have a door or a wall damage I never thought of calling the front desk to let them so this time it wasn't different we noticed the bathroom door had a whole and the bathroom outlets weren't working. But we just didn't think much of it. When I check my bank statement it says we gat charged an additional $250. When I called to see why they said it was because of those damages supposly they called clients from the past and no one saw anything. It's upsetting to me that for damages the were already in room 322 I'm getting charged for. So if you stay in this hotel just make sure they won't be charging you for something you didn't do and I hate having to do this I don't like to do negative reviews but this is more of warning to other people that may stay here to please becareful with the charging you. From now on everytime I stay in a room I will take video and pictures of everything when I walk in lesson learn from them. I certainly will not be staying here after this.

DO NOT STAY HERE! THERE IS BED BUGS AND THEY PLACED MY FIANCE IN DANGER! They assigned my fiances hotel room to another couple that tried coming in at 1 am. Good thing my dog stopped them! My dog would not stop whining so my fiance took the dog outside. His card stopped working and June the front office personnel cut him off and was very rude until she found out SHE assigned an occupied room. She kept blaming the morning front office saying on her end it was vacant! My fiance left at 2 am because he did not feel safe! We placed a complaint with La Quinta/Wyndham and received an email from Latusha the manager with no accountability!! Worst part is that my fiance had bug bites after the stay and the doctor said it was bed bug bites from the hotel.

Can't speak to the room conditions because we didn't get one. Made reservations a week ago traveling thru & got a confirmation number. When we tried to check-in, a young a-hole told us the room is not available due to individuals wanting to stay another night so we were turned away. I need a wheelchair accessible room & those can be hard to find last minute. Holiday Inn Express was able to get us an accessible suite. After we told them what happened, they discounted the suite to regular room rates. I would not trust this location for a room. The city location was not the best either.

We were promised a first floor with a reservation made 45 days in advance...we were on the 2nd floor. Check in agent was too busy on her cellphone to adequately assist the 7 people waiting to check in. Want out for food and all the fast food places had crack addicts loitering in their parking lots.....one guy trying to light his crack pipe set his hair on fire!!! Beds were like marshmallows and A/C took almost 5 hrs to cool off the room.... Won't stay here again!!

The room was fine. Bed was comfy. The area wasn't so great. There were several places to eat but all with bad reviews. Thank Goodness we have food with us. I asked for a glass of milk. The night shift lady said. Oh we don't have any. We wanted an extra blanket. We called the front desk and she said we had to come get it. She was on her phone and watching TV so she was way to busy to run it up. Employees like to park in the handicap parking.

Hotel was nice, rooms clean and comfy. Pool was nice and cold. Breakfast was great. House keeping was AWFUL. Rude, we had a 1pm check out and they kept coming in and asking if we were leaving from 9 pm until noon. Barging in with the key. If I didn't have the latch on top they would have been all the way in. We asked for more towels and shampoo and conditioner and was told there wasn't anymore.

Came to this location after an absolutely HORRENDOUS experience at a La Quinta about 15 minutes away (if you want details there’s a separate review under that specific La Quinta). The woman at the front desk of this La Quinta was very friendly and understanding. I don’t remember what her name was but she had some pretty awesome tattoos. She got us a room as a walk in, even checked it herself. The room was very clean. My only concern was that the shower was a little dirty but nothing a quick wash down couldn’t fix. Beds were clean and comfortable. I checked them to make sure there were no bugs and there weren’t even crumbs under the bed. Close to a couple different restaurants, we chose Raising Canes for dinner. If you’re looking for a La Quinta, this is the one to stay at!

Beds are very comfortable. Had to wait outside for 10min for someone to unlock the door so I could check in. Small pool that has pigeon droppings everywhere. It's a place to stay. Naborhood is not the best.

It was an "okay" stay. Parking lot situation was very frustrating, big construction trucks taking up 10+ parking spaces. We needed to do a load of laundry, called to the front desk was told there was a machine, assumed it was a credit card pay, as ALL are now..... Nope. Need quarters, which the employee did not mention when I called down. Went to the front desk, no quarters and no apology from the staff for that inconvenience. There were no gluten free packaged items for breakfast. Most chain hotels now offer some packaged gluten free items from the freezer, usually Udi's. No real cream for the coffee, all coffee mate and a powdered creamer. Carpet in our room has seen better days. We had received a text that they were short staffed so there would be no room service, that we would need to go to the front desk if we needed clean towels, etc. We arrived back to the hotel and found out that housekeeping had been in and changed our towels out. While that was nice, it was disconcerting as we had not expected anyone to be in the room per the text they had sent. There was no do not disturb sign provided to hang on our door. Some more attention to details could make this a good stay.

Took the family to Phoenix for the AZ State fair. La Quinta had the perfect room for our family. Staff was friendly and professional and everything was clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

Horrible stay from start to finish. We booked La Quinta after deciding it should be better than some of the other cheaper options. Granted, this room wasn't even that cheap, but I felt like I booked a room at a motel. We got there late at night and wanted to rest. Once we got in the room, the water bottles on the table were already have drank and the trash was not empty. We notified the front desk and she told us there were no other king bed rooms available so we settled for two doubles. Because the front desk worker was new, she didn't know how to apply a discount but told us she wrote a note for the manager and to check back in with her in the morning. When we got to our second room, sheets and pillows on one of the beds were stained. The TV didn't work at all, no matter what source input. The internet connection was poor. At this point we were exhausted and over it. We thought, surely the manager would understand tomorrow. NOPE. When we were checking out, the manager came out annoyed, asked what we wanted because a 10% discount had already been applied (I had no idea). I wanted to let her know what happened and I feel that 10% is a slap in the face. She put blame on me saying that I didn't come back down to the front desk and complain about the second room. She said that I should have kept complaining until I got the room I was satisfied with. I feel that she was missing the point of us trying to be nice and feeling awkward complaining again for a third time, when in reality, the rooms should be kept up to standard. It's not like I was complaining about bed sheets not being folded right. Hotel rooms should NOT have half consumed beverages or stains on the bed during check in. It makes you question is anyone even cleaning the rooms to begin with. There was just a lot of this and that the manager wanted to say to me but didn't own up to anything. She didn't even believe me when I said the TV didn't work. I even took pictures of everything. Would rather give my money to another hotel and never stay at La Quinta again. Trash.

The first room had the tub I prefer my king-sized bed and a TV that didn't work. Had to take a different room, we had to take a room half the size with an AC unit it that barely works and a walk-in shower that can't help me deal with the pain I live in. Then they told me the luggage rack was the shower chair. The manager won't be back to help until Monday, and maintenance left before 3:15 when we checked in. The only reason we stayed was we already paid. First time at a La Quinta, probably my last.

Very Clean. Very convenient location. Breakfast adequate and coffee pretty good. One star off for fitness room having a treadmill that doest and a dumb bell rack with Very few dumbest and Very few grips of cable machine. Also manager in duty didn't handle a situation as kindly as she should on check in.

WOW!!!! This hotel saved me and my children lives. We have been displaced since May 3rd. After being here a couple of nights the manager Tasha gave us details on receiving points and extended stay options to make our stay more affordable. The customer service here is just remarkable. Tasha treats everyone here and her staff with such great care and respect. When moving about throughout the hotel Tasha greets everyone with a smile and ensure you have everything you need and more. This has been such a trying time for myself and my children and I want to thank Tasha, Yvonne, Azhim, Bill who is an outside contractor and the whole housekeeping department for making us feel like family. We will be departing soon into our new apartment and we will never forget room 313 and it’s amazing employees. Thank you all and God bless….

Well this is another easy access hotel. Parking this trip was difficult, mostly do to roofing contractors loading materials onsite, thus eliminating much needed spaces for patrons. Rooms were great, just a quick overnight while passing through.

I was charged well over $200.00 for a room that smelled like vomit, whose TV didn't work properly and in the morning the toilet broke and backed up dreadfully. In wondering if that is a recurring problem and that's why the room smelled. No one could do anything about any of the problems because "the manager" had left for the day. I'll never stay there again. It was dreadful.

Rooms and property were clean and well maintained. Keycards need to be reactivated every few hours. Nice selection of breakfast foods. Pool clean.

Not sure why but they require you to have a face mask and disposable gloves to eat at the breakfast bar. COVID is over with; time to move on. The halls of the hotel smelled of marijuana and cigarette smoke. Lots of trash outside around the property. However, the staff was helpful.

This location was nice and clean. We felt safe. Our only concern was that my husband thought the mattress was too soft. I thought it was fine. Would definitely stay here again.

The first time there early in August we had a room where their floor was wet . Someone forgot to list the room as they don't rent out. if someone had a dog. They automatically clean the carpets. The service people automatically can pickup our bags and take them to a new room. And he won't take a tip. Last weekend we ordered a handicap room. The clerk came out and took our bags to our room. Musa was the person he was very nice young man.

We stayed two nights here. Our son had surgery at the Phoenix children's hospital so we chose this location based on reviews and the surrounding area. It's close to the highway and only a 15min drive to the hospital. Clean hotel, free breakfast and friendly service. The front desk were very accommodating especially when we had some issues with our bank card. The pool is decently sized but no towels were available. Only one ice machine which is right by the door to the pool entrance. The breakfast is simple, nothing fancy but fills ya up and the staff were always around checking to refill items and clean. Beds were soft and comfy and we had a fridge and a microwave which came in handy. The water for our shower was so hot though. That would be my only negative. I would definitely come back here if I needed to stay in Phoenix again 👍. Also a huge plus is the proximity to some really delicious spots for authentic Mexican food a short drive away👌

Rooms were pretty comfy, looked nice, was pretty quiet, and great ac! Lol BUT we paid for one night and decided we wanted to stay another night. We ended up paying for another night between 9:30am-10:00am for that night. We come back to the room late at night and we noticed some of our belongings were missing! The beds weren't made and our trash was still there BUT THEY HAD THE AUDACITY to come into the room and take our belongings. I call the front desk and she tried to explain that it didn't show on her end, that we were staying another night. Our things were eventually returned to us BUT, my big thing is why just come into the room and take our things but not fix the beds or at least take out the trash. Smh.

They don't accept credit cards from certain providers, and they won't tell you about this until you get there. Do they accept cards from your provider? Good luck finding out! I drove EIGHT hours (from LA) and expected this hotel to be our relief. Upon our arrival, I was informed that they don't accept deposits from Chime (and a list of other banks)!! Amazing! It's a VISA like any other. This is a dishonest business practice because at that point, it's 9 pm, and I'm low on options and energy to price shop competitors. If they want to institute this policy, they need to be upfront about it! They should have called me the second they received payment and canceled the reservation so I could book an alternative.

Service was fine and the rooms were okay. I did request a non-smoking room and when I checked in, the room smelled like a smoking lounge. I was given another room, but that was just not the best way to welcome a guest. Also their breakfast options from what I saw during my 4 days there is on a rotating schedule (Tuesday and Thursday, it is biscuits, sausage and gravy; Wednesday and Friday it is eggs and bacon). Then you have the standard fruits, waffle maker, cereal, etc. Unfortunately the rotating items are not listed anywhere and after the first day, chose not to eat there since I am not a fan of sausage and gravy. Otherwise, everything else was good
