When
I
arrived,
2
medical
assistants
were
standing
outside
(one
with
a
dog
on
a
leash),
so
when
I
walked
in
they
had
to
rush
inside
because
no
one
was
covering
the
front
desk.
The
lady
that
went
to
the
front
desk
asked
how
she
could
help
me
and
I
explained
that
I
was
having
extreme
pain
in
my
right
ear.
She
then
asked
if
I
had
an
appointment
and
I
told
her
no.
Then
she
says
they
only
have
1
doctor
on
staff
and
they're
not
taking
anymore
walk-ins
because
he
had
7
other
patients
ahead
of
me
who
had
made
appointments.
She
called
it
"this
new
thing
they
are
doing".
She
said
all
the
rooms
were
full
of
patients,
however
there
were
only
2
or
3
cars
in
the
parking
lot
and
the
lobby
was
empty.
It
didn't
seem
very
busy
but
I
did
arrive
at
8:30pm,
so
perhaps
they
didn't
want
to
deal
with
another
patient
30
min
before
closing
time,
but
something
about
this
just
doesn't
sit
right
with
me.
Luckily
I
found
a
24
hour
urgent
care
facility
to
take
care
of
my
issue
so
I
could
get
some
sleep.
Who
can
sleep
with
a
middle
ear
infection?
Anyway
I
will
be
making
some
calls
to
Banner
HR
about
what
happened
last
night.
If
you
are
a
walk-in
clinic,
you're
supposed
to
see
walk-ins
no
matter
what
time
it
is.
You
shouldn't
be
standing
outside
with
no
one
else
at
the
front
desk
.
She
offered
to
set
me
up
for
an
appointment
in
the
morning
and
I
said
I'm
in
too
much
pain
to
wait
but
thanks
anyway.
Her
tone
then
changed
and
she
said
"well
have
a
good
night",
but
with
an
attitude
as
if
somehow
offended
her
by
deciding
to
leave.
Maybe
she
was
upset
that
I
interrupted
her
little
chit-chat
session
with
her
friend
when
she
was
supposed
to
be
at
the
front
desk.
