Extraordinary staff and wonderful infrastructure. We are so glad that we chose to deliver our baby here. It is a brand new hospital and has an amazing staff. It was like we delivered the baby in a resort. The nurses and staff were super caring. I never imagined we will get such hospitality and care in a hospital. The food from the cafeteria was amazing. I still miss the New York-style cheesecake and Crème brûlée. I would highly recommend this hospital.

I must communicate the following regarding our recent experience at this medical facility. My wife and I welcomed our baby on October 8th, 2023, and for the first two days following the delivery, everything appeared to be proceeding as expected. On the second day, while I was visiting my wife, I took our two-year-old for a walk down the corridor. As we exited the room, we distinctly heard someone lurking near my wife's room at the end of the hallway. Initially, I paid little attention to it, assuming we were heading in the direction of the nursing station, and the person was hidden behind a corridor near the emergency exit. My wife's room was 3104. As we heard the suspicious activity, I approached to identify the individual, but they dashed towards the emergency door, setting off the alarm. As I turned the corner to see who it was, the emergency door was closing. This unusual incident triggered a swift response from the nursing staff who questioned whether I had opened the door. Their uncertainty about the person's identity was evident. I descended to the hospital cafe using the elevator and encountered a security guard who inquired if I had activated the emergency door. It was evident that this was a matter of concern, especially with the NICU in the vicinity. I explained that I was the father of the newborn and had no reason to tamper with the emergency door. Later, I asked a charge nurse about the outcome of the investigation into the individual who opened the door. The response was vague, with no specific details provided, except that it was someone who forgot their badge. Fast forward to the day my wife was discharged; she returned home with a dry cough, which developed into what seemed like a cold. Two days later, we had to return to the hospital due to severe pain at the surgical site, which was somewhat expected. While waiting for her, I dined at the hospital cafe and ordered a Philly Cheesesteak. I shared this with my wife. Following a medical examination, we learned that her pain was due to a small hematoma under the surgical site. She was discharged after providing a urine sample. The night I returned home, I developed a nasty, scratchy throat, which evolved into a severe cold. My wife woke me at 6 a.m. the next morning because our 9-day-old baby had developed a cough. So far, our infant has been spared, thanks to breast milk, white blood cells, and prayer. Nonetheless, my condition worsened, and I woke up this morning with a fever and body aches. Immediate measures, such as using oil of oregano, prevented a more severe outcome. The inexplicable aspect is that none of the hospital staff, including nurses, appeared to be ill. This has left us both perplexed and concerned, as we do not typically fall ill in this manner. I am sharing this review to raise awareness of our experience and hope for improvements in patient care and safety at this location, more so for patients, as again, the staff all appeared to be healthy as a horse. We are grateful that our newborn has been spared thus far, as well as our three other daughters. We have been forced to wear masks in our own home, in an effort to spare them from this sickness. Otherwise, we would be facing a much more distressing situation. Sincerely, Leo

I delivered my first baby at this hospital & we had such an amazing experience! Everyone from the receptionist, the security, the nurses, the doctors, the cafeteria workers & the health care teams, exceeded our expectations. They all made our labor & delivery experience wonderful! The healthcare teams were very professional, personable & gave exceptional care. Everything was new & clean in the facility. Nurse Quinn, Doctor Tilden & Doctor Serbin were very knowledgeable, efficient & answered all my questions. If you want exceptional care, go to this hospital.

My husband and I both have had the “luxury” of visiting this ER in the past few months. He after an accident and myself with a norovirus. I’m a former nurse and this hospital is absolutely fantastic. Everyone was kind, prompt, compassionate, and professional. We live down the street, and another upside is it’s not an extremely busy ER. We both waited less than 15 mins to be seen. I used to insist on Mayo Clinic Hospital, but I’m so happy to have this health system down the street.

slow, waiting forever even after doctor gave us diagnosis, nurse took forever to bring meds, asked for blanket never got one. listened to 3 nurses argue over how many patients they had and who wasn’t going to do what, with which patient. completely ridiculous unfortunately insurance dictates where we have to go. will make sure to go to different honor health even if my arm is cut off. jessica the so called nurse gave my mother medication and the blood pressure alarm machine was beeping her pressure was 174/72 it went up after she gave her the medication and no one came to check. these people are awful. after medication her blood pressure went up to 189/84 and the person i asked for helped was most bothered. i should have used nurse call button. there was at least 5 or 6 people sitting around and apparently only one nurse can take care of a patient no matter their condition in this ER. i wouldn’t bring my dog here. medication made her worse she was shaking and getting a headache. what an awful, awful place. thank goodness Jessica went home early and we got a different nurse. Maybe we’ll get better care.

Was referred to Dr Kelly Patterson here for an orthopedic spine consultation. Smart, capable and genuine concern for what is best for your health. Couldn’t be more happy with level of service and professionalism by her and the entire staff

Front desk of imaging office was not helpful at all. Told abruptly to sign in and finally found sheet on my own on the other end of reception desk. Others in the waiting room were not so lucky and got moved to the bottom of the list because they didn't know to sign in. Poor communication. The x-ray tech, however, was friendly, helpful and efficient. Gave me confidence in the office that reception certainly did not.

I pass 3-4 hospitals on my way to this one but I will always go out of my way to come here . I’ve taken my infant here a few times now . I NEVER wait. I always have the sweetest nurses and doctors . They always make sure we are comfy and we are always in and out. I appreciate absolutely everyone at this hospital and I thank you all for making taking babies to the ER a little less scary. This hospital is what making a mom a littler easier , we all know how scary it is to have a baby sick enough to take to the ER. Thank you guys. God bless you all.

We just visited the ER yesterday for a miscarriage and let me warn you against ever going here for that. We have broth at the hospital in Feb 2022 and fell in love so we thought the ER would be just as amazing and boy were we wrong. The doctor had absolutely no bedside manner. I was getting lab results on my portal 45 mins before the doctor would come in and once is was confirmed we lost our baby it’s like he avoided us. I asked for medication to help with pain and I ended up leaving without it over an hour and a half after we asked we just wanted to finally be able to leave and grieve at home. And it was like pulling teeth just to leave. There was no reason we needed to sit there for an hour and a half after we found out for absolutely no more tests or anything. The ER wasn’t even busy and the staff was more worried about chatting than dealing with patients. What a horrible thing we’ve gone through and the lack of support for the ER has made it that much harder.

I came to the ER last night with bad chest/stomach pain. This was by far the BEST ER experience I have ever had. From check in to check out. The doc and my nurses were phenomenal. I did end up testing positive today with Covid so that explains why I have been feeling like poop, but the care, consideration and kindness I received meant a lot. I was seen right away. I can’t say enough good things about this hospital and ER department!

I cannot say enough good things about this hospital and it’s staff. Everyone was so genuinely kind and knowledgeable about their field. Each nurse/doctor was the new “nicest person” I’ve ever met. They took the best care of my mom and everyone was so attentive. They were thorough and never made us wait for an update. Someone was constantly checking on her and letting her know the latest results. I originally took my mother here because it was the closest option, but I’ll continue taking her here because of the excellent care she received! I would absolutely recommend this hospital to anyone in the North Phoenix area 💯❤️🥰

I can’t say enough about the professionalism, knowledge and compassion of the entire Hospital personnel from receptionist to gift shop clerk to coffee barista, to the social workers, technicians, nurses, and doctors. Our mom was brought in for a life-threatening condition. It was touch and go that first night and the ER doctor was both compassionate and gently direct she may not make it. She did! And from that moment through her entire stay, all were incredibly kind and competent. They were sensitive to our mom’s dementia patiently explaining over and over again what they were doing and why. I work as an EMT and pastor and interface with many hospital and medical facilities. This one ranks at the top!

This hospital gave me the best healthcare experience in my (admittedly young) life. I was diagnosed with “allergies” and then just a “weird virus” by urgent care and a nearby hospital. It wasn’t until coming to THIS HOSPITAL that I was taken seriously (along with the outburst of a full body rash in less than 12 hours). I wasn’t in the waiting room even 5 minutes before being taken to an exam room. The doctors and nurses during my preliminary exam (specifically Dr. Day, she took my concerns very very seriously and was incredibly compassionate) were excellent and very accommodating. They were so thorough with their testing process and were able to narrow it down to a very rare side effect of my medication (lamictal) that quickly could’ve become life threatening if they didn’t put in the care and effort. The nursing team was AMAZING, and the doctors were so knowledgeable and meticulous. They were all able to work together to provide me with not just a successful, but a NOT SCARY MEDICAL EXPERIENCE. Being as young as I am, I haven’t been admitted to a hospital in any recent memory, so I’d never had IV fluids given, IV meds administered, and they were able to walk me through that very scary and uncomfortable process, especially as someone who is bad with needles. Along with excellent medical staff, the food and rooms rivaled hotels I’ve stayed at; seriously, the food was fantastic! I’m also a 19-year-old. They saw how terrified I was and were very accommodating, as they allowed my mom to stay with me overnight. I wish I had gotten the names of all of the nurses that had helped me during this. I cannot thank them enough for giving me such a comfortable atmosphere in such a scary time for me.

So, was in there around 10 weeks for a very awful hand injury with extremely bad pain consisting of lacerations to the bone and a fracture. Also had multiple lacerations on my right forearm. The nurses there : anne marie, tracey seaver, and dr. hoebee let me bleed all over the place for 30 minutes before even beginning to wrap me up. They also gave me ZERO pain medication while in the er room, OR after checking me out, prescribing ZERO pain medication at all. This was without a doubt a complete nightmare experience, and their complete lack of any sympathy or humanity is COMPLETELY unacceptable and astonishing. STAY AWAY FROM THIS " ER ".

I absolutely love this hospital they took great care of me, and the food is amazing from the cafeteria. Everyone was very nice and attentive to my needs while I was there. The second floor Nurses Amy ,Diana, Judy, Evie, Patricia & megan are my absolute favorite. I didn’t go without anything while I stayed in there and they never made me feel like I was asking for too much. These are amazing nurses and this is an amazing hospital. I recommend this hospital to anyone and I will be delivering my baby here as well.

Had a 1:30 appointment today and got there at 1:10 as they want you there 20 minutes before. When I got there I was told I was at the wrong location so I looked at all the messages they sent and it was a phone number I googled for directions. When I was told I was at wrong location I immediately called to notify them I will be a bit late. My navigation said I would be there at 1:40 which the lady on the phone said I will note it and you should be fine. As I’m driving I thought I better call again as my navigation now says 1:42 which they said would not be ok. She then said don’t worry I will note the account. When I got there I checked in and sat down. A few minutes went by and NICOLE said you can’t be seen today. I was shocked and said please look at notes. She smirked and said nope provider (Emily fanning l) is on call and can’t take you. UNREAL!!!! NICOLE AND OTHER GIRL IN FRONT were enjoying this as they were laughing and send messages to each other and others in the office.I said I can see anyone and they enjoyed that as I sat down for 20 minutes as NICOLE said NO ONE CAN SEE YOU DON’T go here. They are so RUDE and Emily fanning horrible what a joke!!!!!!!’n if I can give a 0 I would I am in contact with corporate will update

my daughter was brought in by ambulance because she is paralyzed and had a lot of bleeding in her rectum. We waited five hours before we saw. a doctor. The doctor did examine her and requested a scan. It took another two hours, and then another doctor came in to discuss the scan, they did not give her her meds on schedule after nine hours in the ER, They finally decided to admit her. They promised her her pain meds, and again we waited a couple hours to receive those. At 10:45 PM almost 12 hours later she finally got wound care and most of her meds. I know it was busy in the ED, they could’ve admitted her much sooner and gotten her care up on the floor. It was a very frustrating and tiring day for all.

I had two bad encounters with Sonoran Crossing, both having to do with pain. If you are coming to the hospital with pain, go somewhere else. The first time was two years ago when I had a reaction to my iron infusion. I had been in increasing pain for a week and now was unable to drink or eat. I was told to go the nearest ER. In the room the doctor came in, cut me off as I was telling him why I was there, and point blank asked if I was an "IV drug user". He then kicked me out. I ended up in another hospital for two days. The second time was a little over a month ago. The pain started at my GI doctors office. I was told to go to the hospital next door, but in my stubborn stupidity thought it would pass if I could just get home. Well I got home, it was getting worse and worse until I was in the worst pain of my life. I had a rising fever as well. My husband rushed me to the closest ER, Sonoran Crossing, as I was screaming in pain. We got there, they did the initial triage and my ECG was reporting possible ischemia OR the leads were reversed. No second ECG was done. The waiting room was filled with people who were doing homework, walking around getting snacks, a kid with a sprained ankle, and then there was me, sweaty, pale, tachycardic (and possibly ischemic), feeling like I was going to faint in the wheelchair, screaming and crying in pain. My wait was almost five hours while everyone else went ahead of me. You know why they finally took me back? I'm not kidding, they came out to take my vitals and I was unconscious. They hadn't even come out to take me back, just to check my vitals. My husband had repeatedly told them I was not okay and please help. Nothing. I ended up with a massive infection in colon and with my neutropenia I could have died. Time was of the essence and I was in the hospital for four days. I know exactly why I was left out there while all the non-emergent cases went before me. It was because, again, I had said I was in pain. Sure enough, in my hospital notes, they triaged me with some narcotic score. I don't take narcotics. If you are in pain, just avoid. Go to any other hospital than this one.

Let me just say that 30 minutes prior to walking through the front door of the emergency room - I had had the worst and most horrible (and first ever) experience going to the hospital for an emergency at the 55th Thunderbird hospital at 2 am. They literally had me rolling on the hospital floor in pain refusing to see me for two hours- so you can imagine my thankfulness when I walked into HonorHealth Sonoran Crossing and it was night and day how I was treated. They quickly put me in a wheelchair and wheeled me into emergency. They took my vitals and scheduled an ultrasound, they gave me pain medication, and had me prep for surgery the very next morning. Their facility was very nice and clean and calming. And everybody that I worked with from top to bottom, from the very nice ladies at the receptionist desk, to the very nice man who wheeled me to emergency, and every single nurse and doctor and surgeon that I talked to all the way through until i was discharged - every single person was a class act! CLASS ACT! They were good people and I really felt like they cared about me and my well-being - and my comfort! I literally cannot say enough good things about this hospital and my experience there. And it was such a stark contrast to the hospital that I had been to just 30 minutes prior. This was not my first hospital going experience (though i wish it was!)- but thank God it was my second and and thank God they were there for me to help me with my infected gallbladder and galstones. To anybody reading this who works there - just know that you are appreciated and to those of us who look to you for care we really are thankful for everything that you do and the soul and heart that you pour into helping people like me. I don’t think I could continue on mentally if I had to go home that night after not being helped at the previous hospital on 55th and thunderbird. But it is because of you and the good people that work there that I am now home and safe and recovering from surgery - and sending out all my love and good vibes to you all! You have literally saved my life and have showed me that there is still hope even when things look their darkest. God bless you all - never forget that what you do and how you treat people matters deeply and i will make sure that everyone i tell this story to knows that you were the best! THE BEST! You saved me :)

The staff was so wonderful in labor & delivery. All had wonderful bedside manner and very attentive. Not very crowded (location maybe?) so you really get to know your nurses cause they dont have an overload of patients. Because the hospital was only built a few years ago, all the rooms and equipment still feel new. There's a meditation garden eith calming music downstairs and food is actually decent. Grilled cheese with ham and tomatoes & chocolate lava cake! When you deliver a baby you're family gets a free surf and turg dinner that day which was actually pretty good.

Where do I begin? A visit to this hospital will contribute to the belief that the medical field’s main goal is to collect money. Money first, patient second and yesterday validated my opinion. I drove my wife to this location (ONLY because urgent care was closed and we live 5 minutes away) because she was in need of a breathing treatment. They ran test after test after test and then decided to go ahead and give her the breathing treatment, even though the initial visit was because she was having shortness of breath. No explanation on what they were testing for or anything. Almost like eh, just test her and bill the insurance. Money from insurance seemed to be more important than making sure her breathing was ok. For a Saturday, it wasn’t busy at all, and we were back in a room in less than 20 minutes, but we were there for over 3 hours and left with nothing just like prior visits. Literally nothing to help and just… nothing.

I'm a snowbird that had outpatient surgery with overnight stay for observation. Admitting, pre-op nurses, floor nurses, assistants, and even discharge were all exceptional experiences. Hands down, they have the best hospital food I've had anywhere and they seriously accommodated my handful of food allergies. Possibly because they are a smaller facility with only 70 beds allows them to offer more personalized attention... I never felt treated like I was a "number." A patient in the elevator told me all three HonorHealth locations he has stayed at give the same level and quality of service. ALL their employees seemed to be happy working there; the camaraderie was openly evident. Everyone was beyond friendly. I've had three other hospital stays including UCLA and Cleveland Clinic, FL for comparison. HonorHealth is the winner. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

I unfortunately end up in the hospital time to time because of my diagnosed illnesses. I unfortunately have been to many many different hospitals and oh my God do I recommend this one. The waiting area was so peaceful. I waited 2 hours on the dot in the waiting room. Everybody helping me was super kind unlike other hospitals it was a very good experience for being as sick as I was. I felt like I was very listened to and they really actually cared. This hospital just has amazing staff, The security was also very friendly and amazing. They have a security dog so you should definitely feel safe. But on a real note everybody was so sincere, an absolutely so helpful and kind I really appreciate it. If any of my doctors are seeing this I would just like to say thank you for everything. I will definitely be making this my hospital of choice and I recommend that you do as well. I feel like they actually cared about me and did a lot more tests than the other hospitals have ever done. The waiting room is very peaceful and this hospital is just absolutely beautiful. Oh and they also have TVs in the rooms, much better quality equipment and very clean.

I had the misfortune to spend a couple days here. I received one of their standard surveys to provide after discharge which I completed, but it was very sparse and I because of my experience felt it only fitting to provide something more comprehensive. Many times one leans toward posting reviews when the experience was negative but my experience was very positive. I was taken to the ER around 11 am and although they performed a quick check was only admitted for a more thorough examination at about 2pm. The waiting room was fairy busy and once actually in the ER, there were few staff on duty. The ER itself is not small and to my knowledge I only saw two rooms being used. I think there is an issue and shortage of staffing. I saw only two nurses, two technical assistants and a doctor. However, I certainly cannot in any way fault the care and attention I received from the Care Team. They were responsive and did every possible check/test and imaging to figure out the problem. The doctor explained things in an easy to understand language and certainly kept me thoroughly informed. Because they had not been able to determine the cause I was admitted overnight for further observation. Again, I have to say the care was excellent. I saw two doctors whilst there (a husband and wife team) who were great. They were thorough and again did a whole slew of additional tests etc. I had two meals while there which you can order directly from the cafeteria and cannot complain about the food. It was delivered in a timely way and hot. The nursing staff were attentive and peasant to deal with. If I had to comment on where I think there could be improvement these are my thoughts. • I felt the wait time in the ER was way too long. Perhaps with more staffing the actual ER could have expedited the wait period. • Since I had some follow up required it would have been great if the doctors in the hospital could have given me referrals. Having recently relocated to AZ I am still struggling to navigate my way through the medical system and it seems you wait for ages to get appointments.

I called the emergency room at 6:30 am today, Sunday because my 33 year old daughter has a history of strep and she is in so much pain. Vomiting, headache, unbearable aches and huge white sores in her throat. The doctor and nurses were really great. Not so much for the female at the front and the person who took her vitals when we got in the room. I called first to see how busy they were, she couldn’t answer. I asked how many people were waiting. Nope. No answer there either. We came over and there was not one single person in the waiting area. The front person (same person I talked to on the phone) was so indifferent and couldn’t care less. Then we were handed off to the female that took her vitals and got her in a room. Didn’t give us her name, and again, these two could have been made out of the same mold. I get that this is routine for them and part of a days work. But it isn’t routine for us and a little care or compassion would have been nice. We are waiting for her to be discharged at this point. I would come back her again because it’s very clean and the doctor was good and nurses were friendly and helpful. But boy they need some training on people skills and etiquette.

My experience at this facility was nothing but positive. I did not have to wait very long in the reception area before "Steve" called my name and led me to the room for my CT Scan. Steve was very professional and explained the process before we began. The scan itself did not take very long and Steve continued to assist me and explained the rest of the process. The doctor was able to review the scan and sent the report to my PCP the same day. I would definitely recommend this Medical Center.

I needed a CT scan done before an appointment with my Pulmonologist. I scheduled it here because they were able to get me in sooner than other locations. The staff was awesome, and I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. They had the results to my Doctor's office the same afternoon. Check out the beautiful scenery on Dove Mountain Road if you go.

I had my first baby here. I was nervous and anxious. I was greeted with sweet nurses who answered all my questions. Eased my anxiety. The staff was kind to my family and all of the nurses were such an advocate for making me comfortable during such a big moment in my life. The postpartum care I received was top notch as well. I felt well taken care of and would recommend this labor and delivery department to anyone looking for an great birth experience.
