Highly recommend this doctor, especially if you’re English speaking and need urgent assistance. I’ve had a terrible ear ache for 3 days and found the unbearable today. The doctor spoke English and did a very good job explaining my issue and prescribed 4 options of medication. It cost 1000 peso to see someone. I’m advised to try one of the medications for now which cost 315 peso from a nearby pharmacy then resort to the other options if it doesn’t feel better. We was seen within 10 minutes which is much quicker than I would expect back home in the UK. When looking for a pharmacy to pay for your subscription, I recommend shopping around. The first place was asking for 600 peso, almost double what another place was charging.

What an awesome clinic! Our little one gets bad tonsillitis and lucky for us, decided to get sick at the start of our vacation. After two days of high fevers and some terrible breathing at night, I sent the clinic a note over whatsapp at 2:30am. Someone responded at 7am and had Dr Carolina visiting us in our resort room a few hours later. She was awesome, spoke excellent English (very helpful for us Canadians) and was great with our little boy. After some bedside treatment and meds, he was back on his feet playing in the sun the next afternoon. Yes, there was coats but it was inline with having a medical doctor visit us in our room, on a Sunday, with medicine. For anyone running into non-emergency issues during there trip, these guys are the best!

Dr. Carolina Tun is excellent & I highly recommend her & the clinic for anyone needing medical assistance. Dr. Tun was very thorough, gave treatment options & explained everything in clear English. My issue was with stomach pain & the treatment she gave had me starting to feel better within hours. She communicated the test results quickly & explained treatment plan completely including providing the medication I needed. Very clean facility, I felt well taken care of.

I had to go to Dr. Bernardo last minute, as my appointment with another doctor, which was recommended to me highly, was canceled due to an emergency surgery. I must admit, I am eternally grateful that I went to Dr. Bernardo - the wait to be called was almost none existing. The nurse and doctor were super nice and knowledgeable (as my doctor is a diver and completely understood my needs, as I had to get my ears checked and get a physical for my advanced dive course). My troubled ear was fixed and I was cleared to dive. Never the less I was super happy. Thank you so very much - sending my unconditional love to all of you!

I needed a doctor urgently and I was so impressed with the service. The dr in Playa Del Carmen was very thorough and knew exactly what to do. We were travelling down to Bacalar the next day and I was put in touch with their centre there who were very professional and knew exactly what treatment was needed. Both doctors spent a lot of time with me after the consultation and treatment. Both Dr’s in Playa Del Carmen & Bacalar took the time to talk to me via WhatsApp. They were both very caring and made me feel at ease. I would definitely recommend. Thank you so much. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Dr. Rodríguez took amazing care of me when I came down with Dengue fever. It was a challenging diagnosis that other doctors’ could have missed due to the presence of a second infection. For care, I had IVs to help with hydration and medicine to raise platelet levels, which is the dangerous part of Dengue. He provided excellent medical care and support in equal measure. The regular blood tests were fairly priced and made it easy to monitor my progress. I highly recommend Dr. Rodríguez.

Went to Dr. Bernardo’s walk in clinic for both initial and follow-up consultation. Great doctor. Speaks English and Spanish. Takes both cash and credit card and at reasonable price. Highly recommended!

My wife hurt her ankle. We went to Dr. Diaz clinic. I never meet a more kind and compassionate doctor. He examined her ankle and assured us it was only a sprain, but would be able to see her again if it didn't improve. We didn't know how to get a taxi back to our hotel. He had us stay in his office while he went and hailed a taxi. He even helped her into the cab. Later that day he contacted us to make sure she was ok. Coming from the USA where medicine is all about profits and rushing people in and out of the office, it was truly refreshing to see an empathic doctor. The consultation was only $90. which would have been 10 times as much in the States

Would definitely recommend. Came out and met us at 11pm one night. Fast service spoke perfect English and fair prices. Fully equipped with lab and diagnostics. Clean and felt safe. Dr. Conejo was great! 24hrs by phone call shows up fast.

While on vacation no one ever wants to get hurt but sometimes these things are inevitable. I had come Dr. Bernardo and from the beginning to the end I knew I was in incredibly good hands. All the staff were incredibly friendly and professional both spoke English and Spanish incredibly. Dr Nicholas is an amazing doctor he took great care of me. If I happen to get hurt when I’m on another vacation I know that I will be in good hands. Thank you again Dr Nicholas!

Dr.Diaz has been my doctor for almost 5 years, since i got to Playa and has always taken amazing care of me. Always makes time to see me and has recommended me with great specialists when needed. He is really thorough and goes through everything with you, i trust him 100% with any health issues

I got food poison the second day I was in the resort. I had severe stomach pain, headache, chill, fever and body ache. I thought I had covid with all the symptoms I was having. My husband looked for this place and I'm beyond grateful. DR. Carolina was amazing, she treated me right away and within 15 min she put me an IV and medications. She did blood work to confirm it was food poison. She prescribed me some medications and even text me the next day to check on me and let me I got Salmonella. Within 2 days I was feeling better and eating again. I was very scared but this clinic is very professional, clean and they know what they are doing. In most importantly cheaper than the resort doctors. Thank you Dr. Carolina for your care and professionalism.

When in need for medical attention, Bernardo Diaz is the best care to find in Playa del Carmen. No wait time, medicine is given at time of visit and full transparency about costs to avoid surprises. He quickly treated me competent and matter of fact. Lovely staff and felt comfortable from the start. It was priceless to me that this office was a one stop time saver. Treatment was on point and I was symptoms free within 24 hours.

I had very much pain in my foot while on holiday. So I had to call the doctor. Doctor Carolinna Tunn came to the rescue within half an hour! She examined my foot, gave me an injection and prescription for the days after. She was very friendly but overall professional. I would like to recommend the Walk In Clinic, Playa del Carmen to everyone in need of professional, friendly and straight to the point doctor when you need medical help. A big 5 stars for them!

Absolutely Amazing! I've had problems with wax buildup in my left ear for years. Today I found out why, I had a earring back stuck in my ear. Dr. Diaz is the ONLY doctor who took the time to actually solve the problem and not just flush my ear out and send me home. He actually listened to me! The earring back was so old it broke into pieces and was rusted. I don't know how so many doctors missed this but I'm so grateful for Dr. Diaz! What ever the problem is go to him and he will help you! Everybody in the office is awesome!

I fell ill while vacationing in Playa del Carmen and initially tried to ride it out, but after 3 days I walked in to Dr. Bernardo's medical practice to seek treatment. The experience was great and everything ran smoothly. I was seen immediately, my vitals were checked, blood samples were sent to the lab, at the end of the day they sent me the lab results. The next day I received appropriate medication and immediately started to feel better. Would definitely recommend this medical practice to others, and my only wish was that I had gone to see Dr. Bernardo sooner!

Amazing!! If you need medical care in Playa, look no further. Quick, helpful services with knowledgeable and english-fluent medical professionals. I woke up with an infection this morning and started freaking out as I didn’t know how to go about seeking medical help in a foreign country. After visiting a hospital and being told by another english-speaking patient to NOT go there because they were overcharged/scammed, I decided to try this place out. The facility is small, quiet, clean, and peaceful, and we were able to get a consultation immediately. The doctor got me on an IV within 15 minutes and provided me with all the antibiotics I needed without having to visit a pharmacy, and I feel so much better now! Pricing was upfront and transparent and I am feeling so relieved that I found this urgent care office to help me figure out my problem!!!

Dr Diaz is super nice. His English is really good. I didn’t wait and I had a better service then anywhere else even in private medicine in Canada. He is helpful and you can see that he cares. 100% recommend him.

Dr Carolina is very professional, patient and caring. She helped me with my ear issues from diving. The staff at the clinic was also very kind and helpful. upfront and fair pricing. About $50 to see the doctor and a little more for my procedure.

What a great guy. Had to see Dr Diaz on my vacation to Playa del Carmen. Googled to find walk-in clinics for getting my water clogged ear looked at. Found this place and walked in. Wait time was like 5 seconds. As a physician in the US myself at a too medical center, I was skeptical about what I would encounter. I was pleasantly surprised by Dr Diaz, his bedside manner and knowledge. Turned out I also had a cerumen impaction and he took care of it. We chatted for a long time. Reasonably priced. Overall, extremely satisfied!

Dr Carolina was amazing. I was incredibly ill with bacterial gastro and after a home visit from her, I was feeling like a new person within hours. She came fully equipped with all medications, spoke perfect English and explained everything in detail. Couldn’t recommend her enough!

So very very glad I did my research and found this clinic!! My husband got food poisoning while on vacation; after reading through a lot of reviews on local iv-hydration services (including hospitals) I found this blessing of a clinic! CALL THEM BEFORE ANYONE ELSE. My hotel wanted to send us to a local hospital but we opted to do our research. At 8pm Dr. Cardenas answered the phone and spoke very good English. The other locations I called did not answer. Their voicemails were automated Spanish voicemails and this made me feel uneasy about who/what the provider would be like. Dr. Cardenas was able to arrive at our hotel in 1 hour! His bed-side manner was very reassuring and we instantly knew we were being taken care of by a caring doctor. He told us everything he was going to do step by step. He was very clear on after-care instructions, wrote them all out and told us we could call anytime after he left if we had any questions. The price was very reasonable, as the local hospitals can charge $3000-5000 just to be seen. He left a couple hours later. Whereas hospitals can keep you for a ridiculous amount of time. Dr. Cardenas is a true gem and you should not hesitate to call this clinic.

People are nice here. But the problem is I didn't feel comfortable, safe environment. They don't even clean the area before they inject shots. Also, the clinic bed sheet had blood stains and the pillow case has all the make up on it. They clearly reuse them and let me lie down there...

Dra Carolina Tun, made my first medical mishap in Mexico an amazing experience. I had an accident and cut my self up on some rocks getting out of a boat. She patiently cleaned and examined me thoroughly. She also followed up with me via text which is amazing. They saw me 4 times and everything was handled professionally, including the attending nurse. They also set me up with my antibiotics and follow up care instructions. There was never a wait, and everything including Dra. Carolina were above and beyond. could not ask for better service and help.
