Had a great experience at this restaurant 5/25 - the food was amazing & you get huge portions for a good price. No wait and food came out quickly! As a Balkan person myself, I rate it a 9/10. Only reason it’s not a 10/10 is bc I wish they had lepinje but they did have homemade bread that was super fresh!

I was starving my Greek food and got it here. The food was authentic and really good. For the little tzatziki I had to pay extra. Tzatziki belongs for me always to my Greek food! :) The parking is a bit small but a nice guy helped me there to park. I would come again!

Came highly recommended by friends, and we decided to try it out after a busy day and exercising! We had the pork mixed grill to go and an extra large fries for our family of four. There was plenty of food and extra. Great flavors and well cooked food. Space is small, and parking is limited. We will be back for more takeout for sure or just the adults.

One of the best Balkan restaurants in the area. The food is great, and they have an amazing selection of Eastern European food options. 🍲 You must get the large cevapi here. They have outdoor covered seating available on those warm summer evenings. 🚘 Parking is right by the building and there is plenty of street parking in the area if needed.

Great beer selection: ex-Yugoslavian beers, like Niško, Tuzlansko, … “Checkwar” I loved “Ćevapi”. Usually you rate them by meat and bread. Meat was good, very tasty but bread was really good. Fresh and fluffy, it was great meal all around. I recommend this place.

The cevapi were sooo good, and the bread was so yummy. The turkish coffee was good too, along with the home made baklava. Highly recommend. Service was great.

Very good dinner experience, wasn’t too packed and the restaurant looked taken care of. The food was very hearty and very delicious. Lots of high quality meats and the salad and bread were awesome as well. The selection of Raki was good with a lot of them having a good flavor. Would recommend!

Great food and atmosphere! My husband loved the chicken kebabs. I had the grilled vegetables which were delicious and ate the greek salad off his plate which was super fresh! We also shared a small mezza plate, which was delicious. We can't return and try more things!

The Chevapi is amazing. I've never had ground beef sausages so tender. I'd almost call them fluffy. And delicious. And the pita was also, I hate to say it again, but fluffy. And delicious. How do they do that? I did ask, but "It's a secret recipe!" This place is a gem. I'm definitely going back soon.

Chicken is amazing, Greek salad is filling, shared platers are easily shared with 2-4 people if you get an apatizer. Corn bread not gluten free, peta bread not gluten free but both are very delicious. Small seating area, nice clean bar, friendly staff and very good food. Call before you arrive to see about wait time.

I got their mixed platter with chicken and it was well worth it. Quality food and good service, definitely recommend. Also really good tomato soup

We've been driving by this place for years and wondered how the food is. It was pretty good. The prices were a little high, but not unreasonable. We would go here again.

Called in my order and waited the 10 minutes. When I got there they took my payment, AND THEN told me that they hadn't even started. So this person took my order, set the phone down and did nothing. If you make this mistake, you absolutely must communicate that prior to charging someone's card. Had I been told, I would've left and gotten food somewhere else, cause that's intolerable in my eyes. This place is a block away, but now I avoid it like the plague. It's easy though since they sometimes just don't open during their hours.

Great Balkan food, chill atmosphere, and friendly staff. Good amount of menu options at reasonable prices. Best cevapi I've had so far. Only thing holding this place back is a lack of desserts. I would have loved some palacinke. Overall lovely experience at this hidden gem.

What a fantastic place to eat and experience a bit of the Balkan world. The chef could be my grandmother. Everything was perfectly cooked and so juicy. The lavash style bread is so fresh. I love everything about this place. Never had a bad meal here. Definitely on the list of international dining destinations of Portland.

Pretty good stuff. The cevapi is pretty damn authentic. Decent charcuterie plate, if a little uninspired. Will go back though, since I was just dipping my toe in.
