All of the food was excellent! We loved how dog friendly they were!!

It’s been a long time since we have been here and first time since the pandemic. We primarily came with our friends last Saturday to listen to 2Little2Late Band playing rock music that we can dance to. We ate dinner as well & the food good. Our server was friendly and came by to check regularly if we needed anything. The band was awesome.

Amazing staff And friendly. Bartender was on the ball and rhere if you needed something. Had a live band called Natural Selection. This Bar and Restaurant is in Downtown Poway California. They make you feel like family and very good service. I recomend checking out I be back.

Popped to catch a game. Had some appetizers, drinks and food. Good time overall. Good service very friendly. Food was good. Wings were good. Salsa and chips were NOT. Nachos were ok...i guess. When you have nachos and chips on the menu, they gotta be good you can not mess up chips and salsa or nachos....some how they did. They did take the chips and salsa off my tab...5 stars. Atmosphere was cool, bar section of Mainstream is actually real nice. The bar side, is your typical dive bar side. I will go back for drink and game day. Just won't get nachos...lol..

Good food and lots of good beer to choose from! I really liked the Beer Battered Zuchini and housemade ranch was bomb! The Carne Asada Burrito was not bad. The service is awesome and so sweet and fun! I forgot to take a picture until we were almost done!

My family and I really enjoy this place. We always try to sit in Leslie’s section. She takes great care of us and seems to have a genuine interest in us and she’s easy to talk to. The food is always good and the place is always clean. They also have a New Mexican restaurant open in the back which I have not been to yet but looks great. You can find parking at the front of the restaurant and at the back. Parking in the back may be limited as actual spaces go. There is also covered seating in the rear parking lot. There televisions and heaters if necessary. Mainstream has a large bar seating area as you enter on your left and I believe they still offer a discount on Fireball shots when the Fire Department next door gets a call. There are two sets of bathrooms. One is near the bar and the other is in the back of the restaurant. It’s in the new Mexican restaurant which is attached to Mainstream. I would recommend visiting Mainstream for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Or to catch a sporting event playing on one of their tv’s. They have something for everyone. Enjoy!

Would have spent some money on some drinks on a Saturday night, but the bartender didn’t want to look over our way. Looked only interested in talking to a group( maybe her friends?) on the other side of the bar. too bad. We dropped $50 with a $20 tip just down the street. Good luck to this bar. Feel sorry for the owner who is missing out on some patrons because of bad bartenders and waitresses.

We ordered the Mainstream Egg Breakfast plate and the chilaquiles. I should have listened to the other reviewers and not ordered a Mexican dish. The chilaquiles had dry carnitas, the salsa had absolutely no flavor, and the tortillas were soggy in the middle. The waitress was very attentive and checked up on us often. She was great!

First time visitor. Service was great. Mahi Taco with roasted house salsa 👍 Carmel Apple Crumble 👍Coffee. Very good on all accounts. Definitely adding to my favorite places. Some Girlz- Rolling Stones tribute band. Game 4 World Series playing on the big screens.

Went here because we wanted to try something new and different - though it has been here for awhile. We were very happy with our choice! Live music, good food and a great server. We'll be back! We were upsold the mozzarella sticks - and they were worth it!

I LOVE this place. I used to live here (some 30+year's ago) My nephews live here now and when I come to visit, this is my go to place!!! Food is Great!!! Service is Great!! People are so nice!!! I encourage you to check this place out.

I used to love this place but most of the food is heavily mediocre to be completely honest. The ahi salad is FIFTEEN dollars and all you get is essentially a whoooooole bunch of lettuce and a few pieces of ahi. The seasoning on the ahi also does not pair well with the dressing AT ALL. Idk it's a decent spot but overpriced for the quality of food. Avoid basically everything but the burgers, they at least can make those correctly.

I went to hear a great band, Country Crossover Band with my friend whos daughter is one of the singers. The energy was high & everyone there was having a great time singing & dancing. Country Crossover Band played so many different genres of music & as the night progressed the music got better & better & no it wasn't from the booze because I had only water. Not sure how often they play there, but well worth going to see them. A fun night was had by all.

One of my favorite spots in Poway. Breakfast is great here. The staff is always friendly and the bands they have on the weekends are fun! My go-to spot for a night out : )

First time visit. Met up with some friends for a quick bite and to enjoy a live band. Ordered their Hawaiian Burger with a side order of French fries. It was delicious! The band, Bad Rabbit, was playing on stage...loved their music!

Fun place to watch a game. Excellent service every time I’ve been there. The food portions are large. Everything has been good and solid. Shepard Pie, Meatloaf , burgers , salads. Everything has been good. Recommend

Two major things that make a great restaurant, great staff and great food. Mainstream has both. It’s easy to give a review after you’ve had time to think about your dining experience and the interaction with your server. It’s also fair to say that just because any restaurant that would like your opinion, it’s also easy to trash or nitpick it. From the owner down to the dishwasher, they have always gone out of their way making sure we were satisfied. Keep up the great job Mainstream. Montana Chuck

We came across this gem while we waited for emergency car service next door. The food was really good but the staff was amazing. Such a breath of fresh air. I wish for nothing but the best for those wonderful ladies who took such great care of us tonight!

Great drink (bar) and food menu selection. Very dog friendly outdoor covered seating available, covered, fenced, and fan/coolers running. Only negative was road noise that isn't within their control, but they do have fencing and solid bushes up to seperate yourself from it as much as possible. Food was great, wide variety to fit everyone. Burgers, pasta, and breakfast all got rave reviews from our visit.

Their food quality and prep are not what they used to be. Sad. It was a good place. Omelet undercooked and hash browns same. Again, sad.

Friendly staff with great breakfast food. One of the staff members saw my artwork and was interested. Very lovely lady, forgot about utensils until I notified her and requested for ketchup and the utensils. And she did an amazing job. 😘

Tia was a great server and checked on me constantly. Mollie is a super awesome bartender knew any drink I could ask for. Food was great and atmosphere is fantastic.

Fun location - week nights are very chill - staff is quite lively, there is a very local feel but they are friendly to everyone. Live Music is very good, more country in case that matters - but will play a good mix of older music. They have a fantastic bull pen and stage setup out back. Food is above average - a burrito and melt sandwich were both good (although I wish the sandwich came on I more solid or flavorful bread - the white sub roll was a bit soft and got soggy). Either way - didn't stop me from finishing it!
