    1. The one star is only for the price. 2. The so called manager was rude. Unprofessional 3. I made a reservation, and when I got there to check in, I was told I checked in already. Apparently they gave my room was given away. I still wanted a room. It was paid for. 4. I tried to give him my ID, he told me he didn't need it, but wanted my credit card. Long story short, argument, told me to leave without refund, called police, he lied about offering me a refund. I've been all over the country and management here is the worst.

Short review: Don't stay here. It's dirty, loud, and you may contract a venereal disease or get electrocuted. Truly, I wish I could say I was kidding. Detailed review: When rating a hotel, I think to myself, "Is this somewhere I'd want to let my mom or significant other stay?" From any perspective, the answer is a resounding "no." This hotel, by far and away, is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. First off, the website straight up lied -- the photos you see are nothing like the actual room. The photos show a bright, clean, and updated room that looks typical for something you'd drop $100 a night on. This was not the case with my stay: the room was dark, outdated, dirty, and overall evoked emotions that an animal rights ad might. The website also lied by omission -- my room was under current construction, yet I received no warning or discount when booking this room. The bathroom lights were literally hanging from exposed wires, which I'm pretty sure is an electrocution hazard when it's RIGHT NEXT TO THE SHOWER, and there were random areas of damaged drywall or poorly painted drywall (see attached photos). People were actively setting off fireworks from the start of dusk to 2:00am in the parking lot, and the jerry rigged, borderline unsafe door made it sound like it was immediately outside my room. There were various stains on the floor, and there was a "mysterious substance" on the wall by the bed. I do not even want to imagine what it might be. When I contacted customer service about these issues, I received no reply besides a canned response saying "We're sorry that your room sucked, but we aren't planning on doing anything about it." Insincere, unprofessional, par for the course with the rest of this place. For the sake of objectivity and fairness, I have provided pictures so you can decide for yourself (remember what I said about letting your mom or S/O stay here). If you are considering this hotel because you are a weary traveler who is simply passing through like I was, I would absolutely NOT recommend it.

I wish I could give this hotel zero stars. From the moment we arrived, we experienced nothing but problems with this hotel. There wasn’t anyone at the front desk when we arrived and I had to ring several times to get anyone to assist me with check in. One of the rooms had a huge hole in the door and had chains on it to keep it closed. Yikes! Then our room was not clean and the bed was TERRIBLE. I honestly thought it was broken. The tub was absolutely disgusting and there was one towel and no shampoo in the bathroom. We were planning to stay two nights but because it was so disgusting we left after the first night. I called the hotel and they refused to work with me on giving us a credit for the second night so we ended up paying $150 for a cheap run down filthy room. Never again. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Days Inn in Provo. It should be condemned.

I have stayed at a number of hotels. And I never expect a 5 start hotel unless I'm in a 5 star hotel, but this days inn was absolutely DISGUSTING! the walls, floors, bathroom, ac unit, microwave, fridge, sinks mirrors, ironing board literally EVERYTHING were absolutely disgusting. Door didnt close all the way. Theres no screens on the windows. I will NEVER return to this hotel. I used 2 whole tubs of lysol wipes to clean what I could. But I was so embarrassed as I was the one who booked this room for my husband my daughter and my father. We all went through 6 pairs+ of socks because of the floors. Pool was still closed. Very limited parking. I truly try to find the good in all things. But I can't with this hotel.

We stayed here December 2023 and what a disappointment. I understand you get what you pay for but this was ridiculous. The only real positive I can say is that the location was convenient. Our sheets and pillowcases were stained with what I can only guess to be spots of blood. I slept sitting up and on top of the blankets. The cleanliness of the room was what you would expect for a budget hotel. Carpet that should have been replaced years ago and seemed dirty. I left my shoes on. The bathroom wasn’t great either. It was in below average condition. The bath towels were also stained. I would not suggest this hotel. I can look past most of this but the stained sheets, pillowcases and towels is a bit much. Thankfully we were only there for one night. I wish I had taken photos but just didn’t think to.

If I could give less Stars than one I would, for the basic reasoning of their false advertisement for breakfast, and the latest they will go for a late check-out with no fee was 10 minutes, cuz we were out of there way before that, we just like to see which hotels have better policies and treat their customers like customers. I will say though to their defense the shower got super hot and I love that, also their beds and rooms we're great not amazing but great. Just being honest for the future customers. Again no breakfast

We have had a few issues over the years but none like my last stay. My 4yr old son had surgery and we hadn’t consumed food or water since 9pm the night before, so when we checked in around 6pm, I had no reason to enter the bathroom. My son wears briefs so neither did he. We got placed in 101, It smelled a little moldy and isn’t as nice as some of their upstairs rooms but I didn’t care, I was hungry and tired. We ate dinner, went to bed and I woke up at 6:55am to use the toilet, I walked into the bathroom, saw hair in the shower drain and thought, “huh, wasn’t cleaned I guess,” and I lifted the toilet lid… the water was black. It smelled. It was NASTY! I went to the office to see if they had a bathroom I could use and the young man attending said no and just stared at me before rushing into the back room. I had to drive over to Walmart in Orem with a post op 4yr old at 7am, just to use the bathroom. They also didn’t have coffee for breakfast, just stale cereal and bread for toast and a waffle maker. Literally nothing else. I saw housekeeping when we got back and told her about the toilet and she asked me to clean the toilet for her!!! I told her it wasn’t mine but she just stared at me like it wasn’t her problem either. I was angry, I snapped some pics, packed our stuff and left. Every time I’ve had a small issue they do absolutely nothing to help, apparently they do the same for big issues.

This place needs to be condemned. Mold in bathrooms. No hot water. Shower curtain was barely hanging with the screws hanging from the sheetrock. Hairs on pillows. Stains on the sheets. Door didn't seal and light and cold air came threw the door.

This place is awesome. John and Stephanie helped my family in a time where we literally were completely mentally and physically broken. Our old landlord breached our contract just so he could remodel and left my family (kids and pets included) homeless. We stayed one night homeless up the canyon and it was scorching hot and we almost lost some of our pets. During the two weeks we were homeless, we stayed here all but 1 day. Every day was prompt and timely room service, and every time we needed one more night they worked things out with us so we could stay. They were beyond amazing with my family and if I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would. They literally saved my family and I cannot and can never express my appreciation enough. We are now in a home and it is thanks as well to John and Stephanie for putting up with us long enough for us to find an amazing home where we are now thriving in. Thank you guys so much for everything you did for our family, and if you ever need a place to stay, I'd 1000000% recommend coming here. Our kids were safe, our pets were safe, and we didn't have to be homeless in the hottest point of summer. Much love and appreciation ❤

The Provo River is literally 2 minutes walking distance. The room was nice. Only 3 stars because there's no exhaust in the bathroom. Gets too steamy. Affects the mirror & the room itself. Going #2 without an exhaust fan isn't a good time. Someone was playing loud music all night & kept us awake. Some random guy asked us if he could use our shower. There are transients that stay around the property & utilize it to hang out, smoke, being peddlers. The pics online make it look ran down. We were very pleased upon arrival to know it's not as bad in person. Keep in mind, this isn't a fancy place by any means. Don't expect that! The price is right though for a quick stay.

The service was excellent. Very professional and helpful despite us showing up at one in the morning. The room was clean and mostly in good repair but the bed was hard as a rock. There was a lot of noise outside my door and I was woken up several times in the night. Also, I couldn't get the air conditioning to turn off and the blankets on the bed were super thin. I needed emergency shelter after our plumbing broke in the middle of the night. I wish I had paid a few bucks more for a different place. I will not be coming back.

This is probably the nastiest most run down motel I've stayed in. The first room we stayed in smelled strongly of chemicals that made myself and the two others I was traveling with lightheaded. The staff moved us to a new room that didn't have any sort of smell. The new room however did have cobwebs, several patched up holes in the walls, and a mysterious red substance smeared on the headboard. The toilet didn't work. The shower barely dribbled out any water. One of the lights in the bathroom was busted and you could see into the ceiling around it. The service was good, and the people at the desk were understanding and helpful in us getting a refund for the subsequent nights that we canceled.

My co-worker and I came in after booking on priceline. The front desk person seemed very short (in terms of temper). My coworker made a joke about staying at the Holiday Inn for the same price. They proceeded to tell us to leave after she gave me my room keys. My co-worker was kind of out of line. But not a real reason to refuse service. They hinted at our attitude for kicking us out.... This has never happened to me before, but we are at the Best Western right next to it and I reccomend it.

This hotel shows the dark, cheapskate side of Mormon culture. Won’t even fork out the cash to repaint the rooms. I travel across the country and stay in a lot of hotels… and this is one of the worst maintained that I have seen. Great staff doesn’t make up for owner’s neglect. Sell it tear it down and start over with new owners.

Do not stay here bed bugs! The front desk guy told me that they don't have bed bugs and that the picture I showed him was not a bed bug. Just Google glass it, guess what you find. It does not match perfect but that's cause I killed it... You are welcome. They also argued me about getting a refund. We will see if tomorrow when the manager shows up whether I get a refund or not.

Website lies. Pool is out of service. No breakfast is being served. Iron was missing. Booked this hotel for 3 nights, but 1 night is all I can bear out of desperation. I’ll be losing my money for the next 2, I don’t care. I care more about the respiratory problems I can get by staying in their filthy, dusty, bad smelling rooms. Rooms are completely disgusting and dirty. Our walls are full of so much thick grey dust that I was genuinely concerned to have had to stay here and have to breathe all that in. Heater STINKS so bad when turned on, we had to suffer the cold instead cause the smell was that unbearable. Super ancient microwave. Refrigerator made such a loud noise, had to unplug it during my stay. Super loud plumbing and water heard each time our surrounding hotel neighbors went to the bathroom, took a shower, or used the sink. I was only able to sleep 3 hours. Last but not least, hot water ran out after 2 people showered. The rest of us had to shower with cold water.

Terrible staff. Breakfast wasn’t open on time. We waited outside in 30 degree weather. When the attendant noticed he proceeded to set up vs let us sit inside. He didn’t get everything out, so our options were cold cereal, back coffee, and bread. The waffle maker drip tray hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, but we couldn’t use it anyway, because he didn’t get it heated up. No soap at the sink and no paper towels. He left during our whole breakfast so we couldn’t ask for anything. There were 3 separate outdoor lights flashing (strobe like). Don’t stay here!!!

You get what you pay for. Room is clean. Just older furniture. But the management is amazing!!! They are honest kind people. I will never forget that. If you are on a tight budget but need somewhere to stay look them up.

Terrible accommodations and staff. We just wanted some basic things that were missing from our room. The woman running the place, along with her son, were dismissive, rude, and explosive. She said, "These are budget facilities. What do you expect?" We quickly booked a room at Marriott, after this poor experience.

This by far has been the worst place I ever been too! This place is a dump! Obviously I didn’t read the reviews when I was desperate to get some rest for the night! It was beyond disgusting. The carpet felt welt and the odor was too much to tolerate! The Disgusting dirty bathroom was my breaking point to post this awful review. Not to mention I barely spelt due to the awful loud noise ALL night from the next room.

  • 1/5 Wendy K. 6 months ago on Google
SHAME ON YOU WYNDAM!!! FOR PUTTING YOUR NAME ON THIS DUMP. Turn and run people even though I checked the bed for bedbugs I still got bit all over this place was so dirty and disgusting. I thought it was condemned and they put us in the wrong room and they may have don’t go to room 126. It was extremely loud People partying all over and working on cars. When you walked into the room it smelled we sat there and debated on leaving and shame on us for not leaving but we were so tired. It was so late they advertise with these beautiful pictures beautiful pool Jacuzzi continental breakfast, all ally they had none of that , the mini fridge was frozen with ice you could not use it. The TV control was broken and the electrical that was exposed in this room is illegal.

Stayed 1 night on a road trip about 6 days ago and the worst room I've ever been in. Non smoking room but couch in room clearly had been in a smoking room from smell and cigarette burns, peeling paint and half hung drapes. A real dive. Should have asked to change rooms but was too tired and just going to let it go and never return. Then I started itching by next day and pretty sure I got bed bug bites, been itching and bothering me all week. Have never had before but from photos, sure look like them and only hotel I stayed in the past week. Be careful or better yet, don't stay here.

  • 2/5 Andrew N. 10 months ago on Google
Location of the hotel was as expected. Rooms are clean and decent. Service is horrible. Stating swimming pool, currently not working and it seems like never been fixed and tried to be fixed. No breakfast either, even they advertise about it. Just lame excuse and no compensation for it. Miss advertisement. Ice machine was broken as well. Seems like Wyndham means nothing these days :). Who gives them permission to use those well known brands but in reality means nothing- another commercial way to get your money.

  • 1/5 Anastasia W. 5 months ago on Google
They don’t even have any type of breakfast here. The staff is rude and they are completely unprofessional - wearing pajamas, talking on the phone and playing games on the computer as if they’re in their own living room. The room had cockroaches and was filthy and I had to pay a $100 cash deposit! That’s just ridiculous

  • 1/5 Frank G. 9 months ago on Google
Stay away. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Disgusting room. Bugs, spiders and flies in my room and dirty bed sheets. The little refrigerator was older than me and struggling to run all night and was loud. Out dated hotel for sure.

  • 1/5 Mark P. 11 months ago on Google
The room assigned to us had drapes that hung limply from broken rings. The sofa was wrinkled from age and misuse; I have seen better ones on sidewalks with signs that said "Free". The wall was missing paint in one spot. A sign in the lobby said that the complimentary breakfast was not available because of "supply problems." We immediately turned in the key and went elsewhere.

Stayed here for the Stadium Of Fire. We were here almost a week. After 2nd night beds werent that comfy. There was also a beetle bug problem which I was told happens every summer. The doors to the rooms very when it comes to Not being sealed. Big gaps where beetles came in. There was no breakfast as advertised But was told Dennys across the street gave a 15% discount upon showing key to room. Also the pool was closed. We did find the provo recreation center for cooling off. No discount there. Everthing around the area was booked for the event so we couldnt even cancel or book somewhere else. We didnt have much contact with front desk except to change rooms to a lesser beetle problem area. If that makes any sense. Location was close to venue but I can say We wont be staying here again.

I spent two nights here while attending a conference. As far as the rooms are concerned, they were decent. Bed wasn't bad, spacious enough I didn't feel overly cramped, adjustable heater/AC/fan was great. Bathroom was pretty small. If you get put in a second floor room your only option is stairs, which makes taking your things into the room more difficult. No elevators or ramps for disability access. The check in office is located outside - I assume they let you into that small building during daytime hours but I arrived around 1 am and I had to check in from the outside of the building through a service window despite the cold. For the price? Not terrible by any means. High quality and convenient, not as much. But it still gets 3 stars from me for the perks of temperature control, big bed and just generally a decently safe place to say with not only a key card but a door lock from the inside to add to your security.

Very basic motel for a quick stop while heading south from Canada. Sheets were so comfy. Plenty of hot water and fluffy towels. A bit off the highway but good value.

  • 4/5 Naomi H. 1 year ago on Google
Clean sheets and towels. It's not a bad place to stay. The furniture could use some upgrading, it had a lot of hard wear and tear. The staff were polite and professional. The hotel is budget friendly and worked well for the night.

  • 1/5 Elenoa Q. 1 year ago on Google
Talk about horrid! The smell was disgusting. When we arrived our door wasn’t even closed. I saw other google reviews on this place and it’s the same style bed sheet from 4 years ago. The walls were disgusting the bathroom door couldn’t even shut close cause the space was so small. Never will return. So outdated.

  • 4/5 Roni A. 1 year ago on Google
We had asked for a ground floor room when we did our reservation. When we got there they had put us in a 2nd floor room. No elevator and we have a person who can't do the stairs. So they changes us to a room with 1 king bed instead of 2 queen beds. We made it work, but not what we reserved.

  • 2/5 Paige E. 1 year ago on Google
No breakfast due to low staffing. Room is old, gaps around the door that let in the cigarette smoke of the people smoking on the walkway. Multicolored paint patches in the bathroom. Outside stairs uneven and falling apart. Sheets were clean but stained. They have plaques in the lobby saying they won awards in 2011, but I don’t think they’ve invested anything into it since then. it’s a cheap place to stay but I’ll be paying the extra $20/night to stay somewhere else next time.

The family running this motel are wonderful people and made me feel at home when I had a catastrophic car accident with a roaming cow in “free range” beaver county while on vacation from Oregon to the national parks. I was towed up to this area and had to spend a week stranded here but the folks who run it made me feel a whole lot better about an unfortunate situation I was stuck in. This is a great functional budget hotel and isn’t meant to be a Marriott. Ignore the silly bad reviews. Best value place in the southern salt lake area to stay and a nice family.

  • 1/5 Lisa K. 1 year ago on Google
This was nothing like any picture I reviewed. From the time I went in the front desk, and was sent around the back of the hotel, where there were people living in a car and using drugs. People living in the hotel, I went up to the room and it was horrible no air conditioning, and the couch looked so dirty. It smelled like someone had lived in there and smoked, old stale cigarettes. The drapes and curtains were ripped and dirty, I didn’t even feel safe leaving my car in parked outside the hotel. I left without spending more then 5 minutes. Don’t walk away from this place but run!! Worst hotel in Provo I was told by another hotel manager. Such a waste of money and rip off for a garbage hotel! Not to mention no one tells you the pool isn’t working, or they are not doing breakfast?

  • 1/5 Scott J. 2 months ago on Google • 2 reviews New
This place is horrible and sketchy. We arrived at night and instantly strangers in hoods wondering all over the place and looking into the back of SUV. Very bad vibes. 3 or more lights flickering on and off. We checked in and went to the room.... and was horrified. Place was way way run down and beds looked like someone just got done sleeping in them. We looked in the bathroom and it was not clean. We turned around and left and stayed at a different hotel. Too bad we still got charged for not staying there, but we didn't feel safe or welcomed. Place felt like all it was missing was crack needles on the ground everywhere.
