Great spot to visit the beach. There are chairs and umbrellas available for rent. A beach volleyball space. Nice sand, respectful vendors, great place to catch the sunset.

The view of Bahia de Banderas is lovely but this isn't the Arco you want to check out in Puerto Vallarta, unless you just happen to be in the area. It's also not on the Malecon, either.

The beach is not very good, it has many stones, making it impossible to enter the sea. The monument is very dirty, like many places in Mexico. In the corners of the monument people have urinated and it smells very bad. The design of the monument is simple and really hidden too much to attract attention.

There are a lot of pictures on here that arent the Arco - It could get confusing. This place isnt super special in my opinion, I certainly wouldnt go out of my way to go there but its a good viewpoint and beach access if ypu are walking by.

đź‘Ťđź‘Ť If you come from a cruise ship, as we did, just walk about 20-30 mins down the beach and rent chairs and an umbrella from a local.
