How to get there : 🔴 First we went to Bahadarhut Police Box. From there we bought few tickets from AB•Travels Counter (Direct bus) for 80tk each. There was no AC, but it was way better than local bus. It took us 1.5 hours to reach last stop Licchu Bagan. No bus go any forward from that location. So we got a taxi for 1400tk with round trip. It took us an hour to reach to Berannye Lake Shore Cafe. Taxi stayed there 11am - 4:30pm. We got back to Licchu Bagan and bought tickets again from the counter. The last bus comes to city at 8:00 pm. Review : 🟣 It was a good resort. You can rent a while boat (1000tk 1 hours), Kayak (100tk each person for an hour), there is swings right before the lake and the toilet is not bad. The lunch was Fire🔥 We had Fish Bhorta, Beef, Bamboo chicken, vegetables and dal. Each and every dish was unique and really good. No complain about the food. Compares to Zoom and Panaroma Cafe it is a complete different experience. But the view from Zoom and Panaroma cafe is little bit better in my opinion.

We both stayed at this resort a few days ago. The views from the room were amazing. Yes, there are a few insects, that's normal as there are lots of plants. And the staffs are amazing. They are very friendly. And the dogs are even more friendly. If you come to this resort, Give them biscuits to eat

One of the best places to spend some quality time in kaptai/Rangamati. It could be a fantastic holiday destination. 💯 best for relax tour. Their eco cottages are beautiful, and the view from the balcony of the cottage is breathtaking. Mind-blowing service and behaviour. I just loved their coffee.

Lovely place to visit and view scenic beauty of kaptai lake. Option to do kayaking and they have resorts for night stay. Restuarent is there but didn’t get chance to eat there.

The location of this restaurant + resort is between KAPTAI and RANGAMATI.. easy from Kaptai.. from Kaptai bus counter to resort around BDT 300 in auto-Rickshaw. This is situated just beside Kaptai lake with excellent view.. The restaurant has a multiple sitting arrangement from indoor to "macho" over the lake. The resort consists of 4 cottages, each with an arrangement for 4 person. All the cottages are at the bank of the lake with excellent view of Sunrise. The resort provides a package at a very reasonable price that consists of 3 meals and kayaking. Also have package without meals. I recommend full moon night in winter a best time to stay there.

This resort is fantastic, to put it simply. The view of Kaptai Lake is breathtaking from Thier Cottages. From your balcony, you can take in the view of the lake and mountains mixed together. Please don't miss the sunrise. The resort is extremely clean and well arranged. You can always get assistance from the management and other employees. Another thing to enjoy is food. If you're coming here, I urge you to taste their food; you won't regret it, I'm sure. Also, both the price and the quantity are extremely fair. But, if you want to eat there, you must make a reservation.

You can experience amazing view from the resort. Their food is also great. And their behaviour is nice & friendly. They had complementary breakfast, lunch & kayaking option.

I really enjoyed the food. I loved the environment there. The washroom facility was really good. I hope they can keep their betterment. The food was well cooked. I only can't eat spicy food. The lentil was good to be exact. I recommend dining there.

Book your menu before going there All the foods are fresh Superb quality cooking Recommend foods are: Start with a lemon juice. Then bamboo fish, chicken, thankuni and shutki vorta, bamboo vaji. Service and behave: excellent Roads are a bit risky so, drive slow and drive safe.

This place is just AWESOME. If you're going to Kaptai Lake, this is a MUST VISIT PLACE. The beauty of nature :') my god ❤️ You can kayak here, there's a resort to stay at night here (costs around 3k taka per night) , there's restaurant and they make amazing food. But you have to order early because they make the food after you order. But the cooking is so amazing ❤️ the rice they use is just top class. Very satisfied with the hospitality of the people around the Lake Shore Cafe. And the kayaking is just cherry on the cake. So relaxing and soothing. To freshen up your mind, this exact place is more than enough. Try making plans for staying at the resort. or else you have regret later like me :(

A wonderfully beautiful place to be. On the Kaptai Rangamati road , which is improved to a eye soothing hill road. Few miles from Kaptai. Kayaking available. Boat is available to hire from a nearby place. Food is good. Service as well. On the street next to the place, few local people bring their cultivated fruit and veggies.

I loved their view and the food both. What a view of kaptai lake from their window. I mostly became a fan of their variety of foods and their interiors. Highly recommended

If someone thrive for authentic pahari food, this is the place. They refrigerator any of their food. Obviously you have to book one day before here. We couldn't take pictures of food as we were hungry. You can also take boat trip & kayak experience here. They have three Tong space where you can take lunch with friends & family. Right now this service is off, don't know the reason though. Really recommend this restaurant, must visit place if you go to Rangamati.

Based on the natural view and the serenity it offers, Berannye Lake Shore Cafe is a must try at least once you are around Kaptai. The management of the Cafe is almost always super busy with the extra crowd so cannot expect extra favor from them. Its a better experience if you go with your family because the afternoon is blissful then any other cafe you find in and around Kaptai. Foods are pretty decent, you would love the Kayaking experience as the stretch of the lake is good. Instead of going to any other cafe where its managed by the armed forces, its better to go here as it is being managed by few decent locals.

I've been to that place many times before the resort was built. I think that spot is great with or without the resort and cafe. Though it has made it a little crowded in the tourist season, I like that we have a good place to enjoy some good food with this beautiful scenery. I am always suspicious about the quality of the food in the tourist spots. But they surprised me with good quality food and service. The food is fresh and tastes great. Probably a little pricey but it is worth the price. I wanted to try some of the seasonal recipes like the Bamboo Chicken. Maybe I'll come back for that.

Horrible behaviour from the staff I have experienced ever in a restaurant, It was not only an individual staff's action, all they have been advised like this from the management. a. They asked for some advance while they took the order of the food. b. Took orders for the foods which were only cooked before. Mislead us by telling this if we order as per our choice then food serving will be delayed. c. We have requested to change a chicken piece but they denied it every way. d. Fish fry was prepared earliest which was not in the condition to eat, when we asked them they said they can't do anything. And the overall behavior's of all was rude. This was my 2nd time visiting there, 1st experience was not good though we considered that due to the heavy rush, but last time there were no rush of customers though they didn't behaved well.

I went there after going through all the reviews and felt disappointed for wasting of my time and energy. Food is average and got bad service also. Did my first kayaking. One thing i must admit that it is a popular place, everyone come here for lunch mainly. It took almost 1 hour 15-20 minutes to reach there.

Berannye is beautiful lakeside resort with 4 couple cottages (3k per room with complimentary breakfast). The whole area has great ambience with many swings, hammocks and nice sitting arrangements. The cottage rooms are quite spacious with a queen sized bed, an almirah, a divan, attached bathroom and lakeview baranda. Service was also top-notch as they came to our aid whenever they're called. You have to call/order beforehand if you wish to have any meals here. The place has a lot of cats & dogs, which can be great for animal lovers but a bit frightening for some. However, during the night, there's an infestation of bugs so you’re adviced to keep the windows and doors shut after the evening. While our experience was very good and the manager was very helpful, helping us to get CNGs at a lower fare. I expected a bit tidier room. The Kayaking experience was also great, as the view was breathtaking during the sunset and they also allow discounted rate for people who stay at their cottage. Overall I would say it’s a great place to stay a whole day with family/friends and enjoy the surrounding beauty.

A great place for family tour. You can rent their lake side cottage for a day for cheap. Though that doesn't have any washroom. Their restaurant is open in all 3 sides and well organized. They have different menus for breakfast, lunch & snacks. Food quality is good enough. It is a restaurant not a resort. They made some sitting and time passing arrangements around the restaurant in the lakeside which are great to spend a hour or two.. There is also a facility to kayaking also.

Food serving is good, but had to wait for some moments and it's for making foods. Suitable atmosphere. Although it's expensive for food but it have to tell it's better than any other cafe in Kaptai.

We had visited this place on Friday lunch. Understandably, it was super crowded. But, the service was good compare to rush. Location is very convenient and easily accessible from both Lake side and Road side. It has some machangs for sitting. It has a good view and traditional chakma style sitting arrangement. The food was good... in general. But, the fish, on 2 June 23 was not upto the mark. We had a feeling that, the fish is not from Kaptai Lake, rakher, cultured. So, they had to deep fry the fish and than cooked to avoid the smell. But, the chapila fry was exceptionally good, Dal was good, mixed vegetables with Bamboo Korol is also good. But, Bamboo Chicken was okeyish!!! Overall it has good communication and okeyish food.

An excellent place for lunch and dinner with a scenic view. The waiters are friendly, and polite. The price is very reasonable compared to the similar restaurants in nearby area. We loved their food, tastes really good. They also offer boat and kayaking service. However, I wouldn't suggest to take that service from them because that boat is really SLOW and SUPER noisy. This place has a nice + secured parking area where you can park your motorcycles very easily.

It is an average resort. There are activities here like kayaking and boating. Food is available here but you have to order before. Seating arrangement is good. Large space for parking. Food quantity is poor in terms of price. Bamboo chicken taste average

A beautiful view of Kaptai Lake can be observed from this cafe. The cafe has some tasty foods in their menu. The most beautiful thing about the cafe is, they offer Kayaking. They sell foods in a reasonable price. The mashed potato recipe of them was awesome. I don't know about others. But we loved that recipe & we had to order another plate! They also take reservations. By the scenic view & the foods they offer, I think Berannye Lakeshore Cafe should be a must try for the visitors of Kaptai.

Had the good fortune of staying two nights at this magical place. The serene beauty here is almost therapeutic. The resort is located 30-40 minutes from Rangamati city and once you are there you can forget all the hustle-bustle of city life. Weather is important as this is a place to enjoy the nature- our stay was complemented by two sunny days and a stormy night. The cottages are spacious and provides fantastic view of the lake. Bed, bathroom and furniture are okay-ish with room for improvement. Electricity is unreliable but solar panels will provide you with mobile charging facility and one overhead fan. In short, if you love nature then this is a MUST visit.

These two days were wonderful in this beautiful place. service was outstanding, food was awesome. Will love to go again and again. .

Top rated. Must visit place if you're visiting Kaptai/Rangamati. This place has some of the best views of the lake. The coffee was soothing. The kayaks were very nice. Must must visit place.

Really good experience. If you are more of a natural person, this is the place for you to stay and enjoy. The food was remarkable, all the items equally tasted good.
