Rangpur Medical College (RpMC) is a public medical college located in Rangpur, Bangladesh. The college is founded in 1972 and affiliated with Rajshahi Medical University. The campus of Rangpur Medical College is located in the northwest area of Rangpur, Bangladesh. It is 210 kilometres from the Rajshahi District and 330 kilometres from Dhaka and is located next to the inter-country highway that connects India to Nepal. There is a three-storey college building and a five-storey residential building with 1200 beds. To meet the growing needs of modern medicine the government established a medical college in Dhap, Rangpur (on the property of Pandit family of Rangpur) in 1970 with a 500-bed teaching hospital. The first batch of 50 students were admitted to Rangpur Medical College, affiliated with Rajshahi University, in 1971. Currently, the yearly intake has been increased to more than two hundreds. 44rd batch is doing intern duty. And most recent batch of 2021 is 50th.

This is Rangpur Medical College Hospital. This institution are completely government and control government management. I am really interested there service. I know there are any External any service and any operation completely very good.I had visited here manimum 10 times.

We know the present situation of government medical in Bangladesh. It has a great crisis of bed in the every Department of a government medical. I think the authority should take it as a serious matter to develop the present condition.

Hospital is very dirty. Government should aware about it. Doctors should take care here properly. 99% doctors do hurry in here and want to spend the maximum time in the private clink.

I recently visited Rangpur Medical College. The management and services quite improved from the previous situation. I hope it will be improve more in future, so that patients get more better treatment and services. And that is very essential for our North Bengal people.

This medical college has 18 departments and a dental unit, each of these departments and the dental unit has highly experienced doctors who serve people. This medical college offers MBBS course and also offers post-graduate courses in some specialties including BDS courses. Rangpur Medical College and Hospital consists of 1200 beds with various treatment facilities. People could receive treatment from experienced and qualified doctors in this hospital. However, there are many worries about the quality of bed facilities, cleanliness, and sincerity of health workers. Treatment is good enough but management, cleanliness is very poor.

It is a very important hospital in the whole northern part of Bangladesh. Some Doctors here are very skilled in diagnosis and treatment. It is one of the busiest hospital and place in Rangpur Division. Everyday a large number of patients comes here and get treatment both in outdoor and indoor. The outdoor section runs in the 1st shift like till before 1pm or lunch as per my last visit there. The indoor service is 24/7 opened. Friday no senior dr. Pays visit there. The other 6days/ week Senior dr. Comes to visit patients twice a day. In morning and after evening. They visits for a short time and advices in that meantime. The visit time should be increased in my opinion. Duty doctors and nurses are good in knowledge but their needs to develop much higher. Also, duty Doctor shortages seen. Depending on the urgency the Ward boys or women shortages have been noticed also lacks of training, knowledge, skills, behaviour, professionalism. Cleanliness has a damaged face here in the Whole hospital. Diagnosis centre is dead. For every diagnosis you must have to go tye private diagnostic centre. The food from govt. For patients needs to be improved a lot. The medicine supplies from. Govt. Is very low sometimes not found. The pharmacies in front and near to the hospital needs to sold medicines at more reduced costs as they sell high volume medicines every single day. The Hospital beds need to increase a lot. Some time or most times many of the wards patients sleeps on the floor. The caretaker or patients very close responsible relatives have to sleep outside in the verandas. The environment here is not healthy at all. Food canteen is only one at 6th floor of the hospital. The Emergency admission center has lack of expert, responsible people’s. There was a very dangerous corruption problem but recently steps has been taken to minimise those problem.

May Allah protect every people from disease.

Much clean from before. They provides all kind of health services but processes can be better. There are many issues like "Dalal" and some random worker demand money for a free service. Authorities should take care of those issues. Overall it is the biggest government health service provider in north.

Government service is going to all broker. Doctors services only 3 hours 10 am to 1 pm.. What's the worst service

It is the busiest hospital of north bengal of Bangladesh. People all over the north bengal come to take serices. It is also one of the top hospitals of Bangladesh. Services is quite good but in some cases it should be improve like food delivery of patients, medicine supply, information center etc. It is best for general peoples though it provides best treatment and best doctors of Rangpur. At the evening birds comes to take solder of it’s trees and it is a amazing moment the sound is increadible the environment of it’s inside is very good though not full clean but not bad. Although it was a bad past record i think the authority tries to overcome those problems and problems are decreasing. All over it is a best place for citizens for took treatment. Love this place and have a good wish and expectations from this place or authorities.

It is a Very important place for treatment of people especially for the poor one but it does not provide whole necessary treatment equipments.
