This store is well laid out with a big floor space. It has minimal indoor seating (5 tables) . there is an island stand before the counter that sells pre packed pastries and buns. this island provides a perfect in - out queuing system. The food is tasty , and all staff are polite and helpful.

The sausage rolls were fine . If you eat in or take out there is no difference. I wish there was because then I would eat in.

There are 3 Greggs in Reading, the other 2 the staff are friendly. This branch is absolutely opposite, young guy says by law he has to put lid on coffee...not true, major attitude problem, not happy in his work. Another older female staff member equally miserable. Consistently rude to the customers. Will go to the other 2 Greggs in the future! Hopefully manager deals with these desperately unhappy people!

Tom served me...I've realised that my free coffee voucher was out of stock after I have ordered, but he sorted it for me. It was very kind of him! :)

Today a member of staff questioned and argued over a pack of ginger men, I wanted 2 from the counter not already packed in a plastic bag. He argued that they were the same, they might be but not sitting in plastic all day they become soft. So rude, am in there nearly everyday- I will not be served by him again.

served by Tahira, was rude when i questioned the cold sandwich deal. stated that i had to pay extra as i had syrup in my coffee although not advertised. In addition she then gave me a coffee with no syrup although i paid the extra. Also no alternative milks available.

Great service. A good amount of bacon in my sausage and bacon baguette. Coffee pretty good as well.

One of my favourite places for a quick breakfast ( usually a bacon and egg or bacon and sausage baguette or roll, sometimes with a naughty square Tottenham cake and Mexican chicken wrap, egg sandwich, chicken and bacon baguette, or chicken nuggets or strips with wedges.. tge choice is wide. Dont forget tge drinks, hot and cold fir tge meal deal. Try it!

Always a nice place to pop into and grab a lovely sandwich, coffee or a sweet treat. My one big bug is the occasional over-baking of their baguettes, making them hazardous to the gums at times!
