Great night out. The service was brilliant, Waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. The food was really great quality, such a great steak. The peppercorn sauce was delicious. Will definitely be going back soon.

Not much of an experience. Was refused entry for wearing trainers! Totally shocked to find at 5pm in the afternoon my money was not good enough for this place as I was wearing trainers!? We had just driven back from France, therefore we was in comfortable clothes and wanted to stop somewhere on route back that we could sit and eat an early dinner. Saw this place on the map just off the motorway thought great. Looks good. To find it virtually empty and refused access due to wearing trainers!? Felt very discriminated. Having been away I had a change of clothes in the car if necessary however due to the sheer principle of the situation I refused. Not sure who this place things they are but it’s hardly a Michelin star restaurant or 5 star experience. Miller and Carter in general doesn’t even do a great steak. It was just easy to get to and convenient. Most definitely won’t be going back.

We shared the Cote de Boeuf and it was as tough as an old boot. Ended up taking the leftovers home and giving it to the dog. Most expensive meal he ever had! We won’t be back.

3rd Visit, sadly not quite as good as the previous 2. Service seemed very slow & my steak had to go back as had a very grisly piece running through the middle. Food was changed without a problem but then meant I ate my main meal separately from the other two guests. Hake was a disappointment very small & very overcooked. Food is delicious especially the scallops for starters, lots of variety of steak & a reasonable selection of desserts.

Went for Mother’s Day, party of 4 people. Greeted well and staff attentive. The only criticism was that our last order was missing an item. Starter were a little disappointing and I think the prices did not reflect quality / quantity. The mains were good and desserts were not bad, well presented. Outside could be looked after better but would go again.

Nice restaurant good for stake lover, near to Redhill. As stake Only beef stake is available. Had to skip stake as I dont eat beef. But others menu items are also very good. Chicken wing is must try as starter, so soft so testy awesome, grilled lobster tail is another good item we tested today. Good wine selection. If you register you will get something free, I got free three quarter glass of wine. Today it was my wife's birthday and they arranged a small dessert with a candle. Thanks to Nikky for arranging this. She did her best to serve us. Overall great experience. Hope will visit soon.

Really nice establishment. great staff great food and a warm friendly welcome highly recommend to go.

Was nice, good service. Reasonable prices. The chef could've had a higher temp grill so I could've had the best possible blue steak but overall it was good. Nice enough cocktails but their barmaid said they didn't have any Martini when I asked for one straight, given that most their cocktails are Martini's... Their whiskey selection is terrible, 14 run of the mill standards... That's including bourbons too I think.

Terrible experience overall. We waited for lunch for over an hour, found a bit of plastic on my son's mash potatoes, meat overcooked, etc... It was bad from the moment we seated until we left. The only good side of it, it was the waiter that served us that was really trying his best to give us a good service despite of everything else. Dessert was good, but no one goes to a steakhouse for dessert! Obviously, will not return and don't recommend it!

Lovely atmosphere and heart warming welcoming everytime we return here. Lovely staff, lovely food and drink. Will be back again soon for another great meal.

The waitress was absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, cant fault it.

Beatrix was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and pleasant to deal with. Food was perfectly cooked - medium 10oz ribeye had the promised band of pink in the middle and well rendered fat. Veggie Wellington also great - fully encased with great greens and a decent portion of mash. Only improvement - make sure the wine glasses on the table are clean! Ours are quite grubby.

Had a party of 28 people today at lunch and it couldn't have gone smoother. Thanks so much to Genie and team. So accommodating, food came out with no issues considering the large group we had. They were on hand to offer drinks and anything the team needed. Can't thank them enough for letting us have an enjoyable Christmas lunch with them. Superstars, thanks again

I've been there three times. (and if I came back it means I liked it) and a good restaurant with perfect meat cuisine. in general everything is fine, the only flaw: it is not for all budgets, it is expensive

Had a lovely meal this evening for my Wife’s birthday, first time visiting & would highly recommend. The food was outstanding topped off with the amazing service from Donna. Will be coming back soon.

Lovely food. Great service. I had the sea bass and it was gorgeous 😍. Even came back the second night and ate it again. Would not recommend the nachos for starter's though.. the steak looks 👌 but a bit pricey for a Northerner....

Nice setting, waitress was nice, we ordered the black Angus 9oz requested medium, it came out done, the cut was so thin even Gordon Ramsey would struggle to get it medium to be fair, other than that it was good just up the size of the sauce portion. Oh and the 1/4 lettuce on the side I question how you can ensure its washed properly when you just cut it into 4 quarters like that. Price was a bit steep given the current climate drop it a bit get more people in make more money please more people win win.

My son booked the table for us to celebrate his wife’s birthday and to be honest I was hesitant, this comes from previous visits where I thought the food was very very average and not worth they money. This visit however restored my faith in the Miller & Carter brand and can only praise the team. Brilliant.

Went here for the first time as a family. Staff are really nice lovely place clean and respectable. Food was amazing a little overpriced I personally think but was fantastic to eat. The only bad thing was my little boy wanted off the kids meal pasta with cheese and meatballs and it was not nice at all meatballs were really horrible texture and the pasta sauce was like water but the manager see it right that we was refunded for that meal other than that excellent place too eat deserves 5 stars will defo be returning in the near future manythanks guys

The steak meal was beautifully cooked, the restaurant was clean and the staff attentive and helpful. There were plenty of free tables but we were asked to sit right next to a full table which felt slightly uncomfortable. The fire alarm also kept going off during our meal. I would try eating there again and hope the circumstance are better.

On my trip to England to visit my family in Sussex, on my return to Gatwick airport, I had a few hours before my flight. I did a search on the closest restaurant to go, to get some work done and have lunch that was close to the Airport and found Miller & Carter Salfords Steakhouse. The operation was nice, quiet with a few people in the restaurant dinning when I arrived. I was offered a seat in the restaurant but asked to sit in an area to get privacy to complete my work. After setting up my laptop, the friendliest lady came over to greet and take my order which I started with a cappuccino which was really good. Everything I ordered was served to perfection and the service was truly genuine with a feeling of warmth. I was delighted to see the many rewards received for their steaks, well ofcourse it's a steakhouse and rightfully, tasty! Truly the biggest highlight of my trip to England. Until next time! There were 5 of us there to celebrate a colleague's birthday. We all thought the customer service was above and beyond the usual kind of service, even with the staff and the chefs singing happy birthday unprompted to my colleague, and her dessert also decorated with the wording Happy Birthday. Our waitress Donna was particularly friendly and personable, and it really made our time there enjoyable. The food was also of a very high calibre and was very much enjoyed by all, and the venue felt luxurious and high end. Thank you to all.

We were warmly welcomed on arrival. The staff had excellent knowledge of the menu, and catered for gluten free requirements. The steaks were exceptional, and chicken dish flavoursome. Staff accommodated a balloon to celebrate our daughter's A levels, congratulated her personally, and wrote congratulations on her dessert without being asked. All in all, a very enjoyable meal. We look forward to coming back again soon.

It was definitely up there with one of the best steakhouses I've been to. The price is quite reasonable, for the quality of produce you get and the ambiance is pretty nice too. The waiting staff were really nice too, making sure to recommend the best way the steaks should be enjoyed. Finally, considering the times we live in, I was really impressed with their methods for spacing seats out, for the purposes of social distancing.

Booked a table for my daughters 18th. Although service wasn't the quickest, the food was great. Our waitress, Donna, was brilliant and made our visit one to remember. She even arranged a dessert with candles for my daughter off her own back. Will definitely return.

Large menu selection , something for everyone but just steaks. There is also a gluten free menu. Cocktails were average and the fries served with my ribs were cold. Staff were efficient, there is a dress code but it didn't seem to be enforced.
