Boteco Belmonte is highly recommended for an authentic Brazilian bar experience. It's a great place to enjoy delicious food, drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere. Be prepared for potential crowds and slightly higher prices, but the overall experience is worthwhile.
Expect a busy environment, especially during peak hours. Consider visiting during off-peak times to avoid crowds. The menu is extensive, so take your time to explore the options. It is a popular chain with multiple locations throughout the city.
Absolutely faultless in every respect. The service was excellent as well as extremely friendly.
Food is EXCELLENT and Service has no way like here.
Great Brazilian experience. The red meat was outstanding, so were the drinks.
Lots of locals which is a proof itself.
The service is warm and the beer is cold..what better recommendation is required.

Nice place to go enjoy food and some drinks. They have very good service although you can expect some delay as the place is always full. Food was ok, tasty however nothing extraordinary. Nice ambiance. This place is traditional for locals and it's all over the city in different areas.
I loved it all Our waitress on the terrace was amazing - friendly, fun and super caring Food was very good - it is very difficult to resist !! The squid was amazing
Nice boteco with Brazilian cuisine - we ordered various snacks to share. Pimento was very tasty again. The other items were also very tasty. Caipi was a 10/10. Compared to other Botecos, however, a little more expensive. Service was super friendly and we felt very comfortable!

Recommended! Fast and friendly service, lovely food and very busy.
Good food and service. Was charged an entry fee which I thought was weird to eat at restaurant.
One of the nice places to hang out in that area. The ambiance is nice and the food is ok. The service is good but a a bit slow and it would help if they smiled a bit more to clients.
Absolutely faultless in every respect. The menu is vast with enough choice to get your head spinning. The service was excellent as well as extremely friendly with the waiter always attentive and wearing a genuine smile. Frequented by locals and tourists alike the food is always of a consistently high quality with fresh ingredients and delivered quickly from time of order. The sharing dishes are a highlight as is the seafood and desserts on offer. The service is warm and the beer is cold..what better recommendation is required.. Do yourself a favour and sample the delights on offer at this iconic establishment.
Probably a nice bar but this dish was just horrible. The fish was fine but the rest I couldn’t even eat. Very disappointing
I felt very comfortable here for lunch. Food was nice, and staff were attentive. I enjoyed the lunchtime fish.
I can’t say enough to bring the whole experience into words! Food is EXCELLENT and Service has no way like here. We’ve been coming to this place for the past 2 years now, it’s always our favorite!
This place was incredible! Everything was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. We had a party of three, and it was my favorite dinner in Copacabana so far. Thank you for making our dinner so enjoyable.
We visited in October and again in November 25. Went back several times. The food and drink is very good but it has a wonderful vibrant atmosphere. This is "the place to go" in this area. A great and large staff team extremely well organised and friendly. As well as the menu the waiters come round the tables with fresh out the oven small dishes ( like tapas) just delicious and inexpensive.
Good quality, delicious Brazilian food and good portion sizes. The picanha was amazing! The staff were very attentive, professional and friendly. Lots of locals which is a proof itself. Well established and local restaurant feel.
A great susrprise. The place looks like tourist catch and also regarding it is a franchise I was a bit sceptic but the outcome was really enjoyable. We go for some fishy dishes and a total match. Moqueca and the rissoto contained a lot of flavour and rhe biffe of chorizo delicious.
Great Food, Great Location, Great Music Fair prices, clean, spacious, fast service, great drinks, helpful staff. Totally recommend! This was the first restaurant I visited and it really set the tone for my wonderful trip to Brazil! They even gave me a birthday dessert
Don not go there, they rip off tourists!!!!Very bad Picanha quality! Cold and not so freshly cooked oven potatoes, a small beer and guarana can ! Total of 318 Réais, for one person!
Great Brazilian experience. Came here with my family tempted by the Google reviews and close by location. No regrets. The red meat was outstanding, so were the drinks. I deduct 1 star for the croquettes that were greasy. Overall, we did like the atmosphere and the service. I recommend!
Came to Boteco the first night in Rio and everything was so good. I ordered the moqueca of fish and my husband ordered the Picanha. The picanha was the best dish of the two. Despite being busy, we got seated quick and received great service. We decided to come back on our last day in Rio and this time we ordered the Picanha for two and it was delicious. The food, the service, and atmosphere were a 10/10. There are waiters going around offering appetizers while you wait for your food. I got the sausage on the 1st and second time we were there. I would come back if I were visiting Rio in the future.
We ordered deep fried chicken and some parts were raw! That could lead in salmonella or anything similar.. We just left the place.. Besides that the portions were big. But we could get sick of raw chicken.
